great variety on the menu. Beautiful presentation and yummy food!
We’re having difficulty squaring the Mother’s Day charge of $75 for one of our meals (beat salad, salmon and a few pieces of pineapple), which if ordered off the main menu would be closer to $50 any other day. The second meal was no different, with the four oysters making the overcharge ever more poignant. Probably the last Mother’s Day at the Parc.
I have been here a few times and decided to take my Mom and Dad here for Mother's Day. They seated us right away we were next to the bar and the setup station for water and whatnot. We ordered our food and each dish was really delicious. My main thing is that even though we were next to the water I had to constantly ask for water. Another downvote was that there was a plastic bread tie in my fruit cup, (they have no idea how it got there and I certainly did not put it there). The fruit cup was okay, it wasn't very fresh, the watermelon tasted old. My dad did like the creme brulee and my mother thoroughly enjoyed the lava cake. Now I understand it was busy but having to ask for the bill twice and wait 10-15 minutes for the bill...for $65/person I expect prompt service. Would I recommend coming here? Yes and No, Yes come here on a regular day, No do not come here on a holiday.
Made a reservation for Mother's Day and we had such a wonderful experience! The food was amazing, they had such great options on their Mother's Day prix fixe menu - especially for my boyfriend's family, who lived in France and thoroughly enjoyed both the wine selection and the food. I was so surprised to see that this place was dog friendly, and they were so kind to give us a private space in a corner of the patio to accommodate our large lab so that he wouldn't get stepped on. Overall, a 12/10 experience, and looking forward to returning!
Best Mother's Day dinner ever and great Team Members !
All four of us were pleased with the outstanding service, friendly atmosphere and very nice food; helping to make to a happy, pleasant day.
It’s was perfect, we dined inside the restaurant wasn’t loud, servers came at a perfect time.
Our Mother’s Day dinner was ruined. We had an 8:15 reservation and were seated immediately. We placed our orders within 5-10 min and promptly received our water and wine. At 9:15 (1 hour later), we had received no food at all. Not even bread! When I complained, they brought our appetizers and salad within one minute. I’m assuming they just forgot about us. Luckily our appetizers were supposed to be cold. The manager stated only that he had no excuse and that they would comp the wine only. He said he would take care of us “next time”. We had to leave by 9:30, so we rushed to eat the appetizers in less than five minutes and never even saw our entrees. There will be no “next time”!!
The inside is definitely the way to go, if you feel comfortable but they have some powerful heaters outside. The service was ok, but our food took a really long time after appetizer, making the server visibly upset upon checking in with us.. and when it arrived the scallops and shimp were fine but the lobster potatoes where cold and the duck confit was amazing but the brussel sprouts were hard as a rock/uncooked. They overused the balsamic reduction and the celery puree was without flavor.
Overall, it would be a great experience if the food came 20 min sooner as it took nearly an hour and if it were all cooked and ready to serve. But we may give them another shot if we were in the mood.
I will definitely return! Everything was perfect!
Lovely restaurant for lunch with friends. Always great for dinner before a San Diego Symphony concert, also. The service and food are wonderful. So are the wine selections and the lavender martini!
Our visit was wonderful. The food was outstanding and the service was great!!
Went for brunch, place was nice. Parking was easy to find. Food was delicious and fairly priced.
Came in from SJ,CA for the day and we were the second party but preferred to sit at the bar. We had extraordinary service from Jenn, drinks and food were hefty sizes and later moved to a 4 top. Thank you so much for accommodating every need => VNN
We had a great dinner with good friends and all 4 of us enjoyed everything we ordered. We had all been there previously especially our friends who have been regulars there for years. Besides enjoy the fine food they had live entertainment and a customer joined in with a few Italian songs that everyone loved even though we were in a French restaurant. The escargots were FABULOUS
The outside patio is really lovely. We were far enough from others and felt safe. Everything was perfect!
Very classy place with great atmosphere, amazing food and outstanding service. The price was reasonable for the scale and type of restaurant.
My favorite part was the bottomless mimosas for $18. My steak was undercooked but I should have said something so that is my fault. Our server was very good!
The owner came over and introduced himself as soon as we were seated. He was so kind and thankful for us coming in - our server was wonderful and attentive - all the staff we interacted with were friendly and the food was delicious! I am already excited to go back! Get the lobster arancini, you won’t be disappointed!!
Outstanding bistrot ! Wonderful food and service. A pleasure always to visit.
One of our favorite restaurants in Banker's Hill area. Food and drinks are always very good.
The staff is very friendly!
No loud music so you can hear yourself talk.
Birthday for two of the four guests. We were a little disappointed not be be comped one of the shared desserts. But overall an outstanding experience. Best bœuf bourguignon in San Diego, and excellent lobster risotto!
Always a worthwhile experience. Dependably terrific food, always top-notch service and appropriate pricing. A favorite of a discriminating diner
Our server was AMAZING!! He was attentive, informative and engaging.
Food was excellent, service great, and we had a nice, quiet table.
Our brunch was delicious. Definitely will be back again.
A great find of a true gem in San Diego. Nice setting with live music, great cocktails, food and wine!
The Steak Tartare was one of the best I had in ages. We certainly will be back!
The ambience was really cute. The service was good. And food was pretty good for the most part except for the lobster risotto, it was very salty and made it hard to enjoy.
First time here- food was excellent and service was fabulous - will definitely be back!
The restaurant itself was adorable. Everyone who we interacted with was overly pleasant and helpful. The menu was huge and we loved every item we ordered and can’t wait to go back to try more. Definitely a hidden gem.
Love Parc Bistro! Quiche is the best ever. Beet salad with salmon... yummy. Ambiance is adult, quiet, comfortable. It’s so nice to dine and be able to hear each other.
Delicious, authentic French cuisine, like being in a bistro in Paris!
fun birthday dinner
Great food. Price was right. Excellent service. Location was easy to get to as well.
Brunch with friends. Great service, nice selection of breakfast and lunch items. Benedict’s and bloodies, YUM! Breakfast Sammy also a hit. Will be back ☀️
This is one of my favorites... love the kale and quinoa salad.
Another 5 star brunch this past Sunday. In fact we will be back for dinner in a couple of days. Doesn’t matter when you go it’s alway fantastic food with an incredible staff that makes you feel part of the Parc family. So Lunch, Dinner, or Brunch (my favorite just because I like brunch!) you can’t go wrong.
Wonderful brunch. So many tasty options. I had the steak sandwich, wife had chicken and waffle. All was delicious! Perfect croissant plate and coffee as well. Wait staff built over the hour we were there. Dined on the front porch and enjoyed the beautiful morning. Bottomless mimosas didn’t hurt either 😊
