This is our go too restaurant, and always have had great food and friendly attentive service.
However on Valentines Day, they seemed incredibly disorganized and understaffed.
Cramped seating area n a loud environment.
Our waiter seemed overwhelmed.
Our food arrived before the appetizer did.
They took the food away and brought it back after the appetizer.
Only saw our waiter once after order was taken.
Filet Mignon had no seasoning or flavor.
Jumbo Prawns were cold.
We will return because we love this place, but never again on Valentines Day.
Great food and service. I really enjoyed the rack of lamb. My wife loved the jumbo prawns. So romantic and they had a great wine list too.
It was a fabulous Valentine's Day 3-course dinner; each course was exquisitely prepared and delicious.
Service was friendly and attentive. Steak took long and came out overcooked.
We have enjoyed the Parc several times already; always excellent. I gave the service four stars, as I always enjoy talking with the servers; they were quiet and efficient. It was my birthday, but no one asked; I should have volunteered. But there were friends to join us (first timers, and they loved Parc), who brought wine and flowers and presents. The food, for all of us, was superlative. Personally, I had looked forward to the rack of lamb. The noise level was a bit too loud ... but then there was a party going on near by. The food, the ambiance, the service, the design/decor were all excellent.
As we had a reservation, it would have been nice to welcome us by name ...
Wonderful venue- we had a great time and loved the food and wine selection. Can’t wait to go back!!
I had an outside table and was very thankful as I did not know they had live music inside, which would have been to loud for my comfort!
Good food and great service. Would definitely recommend and come back again
Each of us loved our food choice: lobster risotto, mahi-mahi, and ahi tuna. Each was delicious and our wine choices were great, too. Lovely evening.
We came for a business lunch and the fries, salmon sandwich and quiche of the day were all absolutely delicious. The bread and salted butter w/ olive tapanade was a nice touch.
Jeff, our waiter, was very good..he had a lot of tables but amwas always there when we needed him. The cocktails were well crafted. The appetizers delightful and my rack of lamb was scrumptious The scallop with mushroom ragout was prepared to perfection. To complete the meal we enjoyed the amazing profiteroles and port. If it's a special occasion or a quick meal come to the Parc...its fantastic.
The duck breast is so yummy! By far the best duck breast I've ever had. The staffs at the restaurant are all very nice and friendly, especially the manager. Highly recommended.
Great Birthday lunch during restaurant week. Lovely, relaxing dining room, great service, and delicious food.
I never write reviews. there service and food is worth writing one.
Service was very good.....Happy Hour is hood till 7PM.....escargot was chewy but the preparation was tasty.....lamb was ordered medium rare and came out rare n fatty .......dessert was fabulous especially the Myer lemon n meringue....music in bar was good but noise level is high.....for dinning ask for table near wine wall...lower noise level ......overall...enjoyed it .... I probably will go back one mite time to try the duck....and because everyone is service oriented made it pleasant.
Restaurant was nice enough, but very loud. We had dinner before performance at The Old Globe. Location of the restaurant was the key.
Went for the first time for lunch during restaurant week. Great food and service. Will be back for their happy hour!
I always enjoy eating at the Parc Bistro-Brasseie. AND I always recommend it to others. Great food and service.
Service was amazing. Enjoyed San Diego restaurant week special. Food was very good but not amazing. Having said that I would be interested in trying some other menu items.
I work near the area and have wanted to try this place for lunch. Came for Restaurant week lunch and was impressed with the service, ambiance, and delicious food.
Can’t wait to come back !
A few too many gnats
Wonderful food. Great staff and menu, relatively easy parking. The noise level, however, makes it difficult to have a conversation.
Well, after going through the hassle of trying to find parking, finally made it to this quaint little place. Was there for restaurant week and things started off well with our appetizers coming out pretty quickly. Then things took a turn and we started to notice that people who had arrived after us, had eaten already and were leaving before we had eaten. I couldn't even find my server to bring this to her attention. Then she finally shows up and says "we ready for dessert?" and we informed her that we hadn't received our entree yet! She felt horrible and so we "were the next ticket up", but even then there was still quite a bit of a wait.
So...entree finally arrives, and we order dessert afterwards which came out in a reasonable amount of time. Good thing we weren't in a hurry and the food was good, because otherwise, this place would not be on the return visit list. Apparently our service was impacted due to a large party at the front of the restaurant, but that just doesn't work for me. We were there BEFORE the large party and can't help it if we were seated in the back...and ultimately forgotten. In my opinion, that's just no excuse. While I might be back...it'll be a while before I do.
Very impressed with Parc - B. Came for SDRW. The portions were larger than I expected. I was with someone who is quite critical of most restaurants. But even he was rather pleased.
Both had rack of lamb. Came cooked as ordered, rare and medium rare. Expertly prepared with essence of rosemary.
Nice grade of ahi used for the tartare. And the Mille Feuille, puffed pastry with creme and fresh berries was delicious. Light and refreshing.
We decided on this restaurant based on a recommendation from a close friend. We were saying goodbye for now to my niece who is leaving for a semester abroad and wanted to enjoy a special meal with her and her and younger brother.
Obviously we booked on OpenTable and I reviewed the full menu on the app as well. It appeared to be at a good price point along with a nice variety for the four of us to enjoy.
Upon seating and reviewing the menu I was a bit surprised to see a very limited menu for restaurant week with a very high price point. To be honest If it was just my wife and I give them the number of restaurants in the local area we both agreed we would’ve walked out. Most restaurants that I’m aware of during restaurant week serve their regular menu and then have a side menu specific to restaurant week. I found the options at this restaurant a complete upsell.
As far as the food I had the roasted chicken which was very good I will say. The other three choices at our table where the salmon and the rack of lamb. The kids didn’t complain about the salmon although the portion was extremely small with minimal garnishments. The rack of lamb was tasteless.
It would’ve been nice to enjoy their full menu and I believe the bar menu at the happy hour time frame which was not available at the regular dining tables may have made this experience better.
The service was fine with no problems they were attentive and polite. They don’t make the menu!
I would not recommend this restaurant.
We loved this place. It was as close as you can get to a Parisian brasserie. Food was very good and the service excellent.
The total experience was great, however the actual entrees could have been more flavorful. If you are looking for quiet, elegant, a great wine list and very decent food, its a winner.
Our waiter was outstanding. Food was out of this world.
Great food and good place for a date or families with well behaved kids.
Due to the holiday it was rather tight and our table was small and close to others but it was enjoyable. The best plate is the duck entree. Their in house Manhattan is tasty. If tote looking for a good meal... this is the place.
The food wasn’t special but with the atmosphere and the great staff it still made it a wonderful experience.
This is a good everyday lunch (or other meal) kind of place. All three of us ate everything on our plate- which says something!
French onion soup and rack of lamb are outstanding. Duck was not as tender as we hoped. Country French Tartiflette was a disappointment -- the cheese was overpowering. Bottles of wine are extremely expensive. It would be nice to have some wines that are priced at less than $45 per bottle. Tables are nicely spaced so you can have a conversation with your table mates. Service was perfectly timed. We never felt rushed. We had a very enjoyable evening.
Superior service and excellent food. Could not have asked for more for a midday Christmas dinner!
Great birthday present
Best restaurant in town as far as I'm concerned. Used to eat at the Del, but no longer. Bistro du Marché is too noisy.
Entertainer Don LeMaster made for an entertaining evening of good food and a good time.
I love coming here with friends for lunch and a quiet chat.
Great waitstaff! Accommodated late arrivals and small group without problems. Food was better than expected, with the branzino an excellent choice.
Food is decent. Service is wonderful. Nice casual setting. Bourbon Manhattans are exemplary! Scallops are excellent. Lobster Risotto and French Union soup are underwhelming. NATS ARE AWFUL!
