I had the Beet salad - very nice! Lots of beets - a real variety - with almonds, arugala, fennel, and a lovely, tasty dressing. Will defnitely order again. We were there on a weekend, so were offered the Brunch menu. I prefer the M-F menu, but there were still several options that I was able to choose from. I wanted plain iced tea, but they only had flavored teas. She offered me hot tea, but I passed. This is still a favorite.

The food (mussel appetizer, eggplant Parmesan and patrole sole entrees) was excellent but our waiter was overbearing! We could barely swallow a mouthful of food without him asking how we were enjoying our meal. I guess an overbearing waiter is better than being ignored, but the constant interruptions to give our food rating was inconvenient an put a damper on our meal

I would give 10 stars if available. I love this place, it has it all. I can only compare it to some New York City fine establishments I have been to. The server, Pavo, attended to our very needs, and what a personality. Drinks were great, would have had more, but driving. The food was quick, hot and scrumptious. We even left a little bit for desert. Eric, the owner, as usual would stop by our table curious how everything was. If you have not been here, your missing out! Barbara Nichter

We’ve been coming here for years. We have celebration dinners or just date night. We’ve never had a bad meal or poor service. We celebrated our anniversary and were surprised by some “extras”. It’s a fantastic place for a great meal and nice evening.

We had 7 adults and 1 14 month old in a high chair. Tasty brunch menu and pizza for the toddler. Excellent service , attentive and tasty food. A great birthday celebration

The atmosphere and the wonderful food always brings up back to this lovely bistro. We were there once when "Check Please Bay Area" filmed an episode. Great food and attentive wait staff are always part of the deal. I will say though that the Linguine and Clams is amazing. That luscious broth—briny, garlicky, wine-kissed—is to die for. To serve it without a vehicle to mop it up with however, well that’s practically culinary malpractice. The house bread doesn't really cover it. So, perhaps hide a baguette in your purse.
