Fantastic menu options and service --- we loved it and cannot wait to go back!
Best Peruvian food I've had in the East Bay! Excellent service, very clean, staff wore masks and the outdoor patio was spacious and comfortable. Our server Tony was great and very attentive. Portable heater and plastic siding kept us warm in the 50 degree weather. Highly recommend the empanadas, cebiche, and don't forget the alfajores for dessert!
Second time eating here, first covid outdoor experience. It was AMAZING! The food is piping hot, so flavorful and very authentic! Desert was divine, we had the caramel pudding and pannacotta. The staff was attentive and kind, yet not overbearing!
-Bathrooms and tables were clean and sanitized.
-outdoor tables were high quality wood, very comfy and spacious
-pyramid heaters keep you warm and light up the space for ambiance.
This is my new favorite spot in Walnut Creek. Never disappoints!
Parada is always included when we visit the Walnut Creek area. Happy to see they have survived COVID so far. Difficult times.
The menu has been cut back but most of the key items (empanadas & ceviches) remain and are excellent.
Wine list could use some attention.
The ambience isn't what it was--you must either be enclosed with higher COVID risk, or cold. Space heaters just can't warm everyone at the table. The music from the kitchen is intrusive on normal conversation.
I suggest ordering take-out. They deserve our support.
Wonderful meal-the flavors and colors were amazing!
This is our 3rd time here. We always come back because of the food. The service was mostly good, but it is never 100%. Since the service is now outside, when we got there, we were seated at the table without heating lamps. There were 4 more available tables and 2 of them had the heaters. I asked to be moved to one of those and was told it's reserved. That was just rude. Sorry. We were there first! If you don't have enough heating lamps, DONT OVERBOOK! When we were done, my back and feet were frozen. I wanted to leave and go somewhere else, but of course, because of covid, not many places were available and we were hungry.
I wanted to really love this place but everything I tasted lacked salt. I’ve been to a few Peruvian places and perhaps I just expected a flavor that wasn’t there
Outdoor healthy lunch
Food was delicious, service great!
We loved it!!
Food is delicious. Outdoor dining is well spaced out with heat lamps. Seating is next to a main road so it’s a little noisy but fine. Service is great. Right next to a parking garage and in a section of Walnut Creek that doesn’t get a lot of foot traffic so easy to maintain social distance.
the manager man at front door was very rude and not welcoming at all
the delicious food and lady servers made up for his boorish behavior
need to replace him
The service is usually better. It took them some time to bring the check. The food was okay. The service and food has been better other times.
Not sure if due to pandemic or just them but service is slow and not attentive at all. Food is excellent but definitely need improvement on service,
Second visit. Just as good as our first. Great sized portions, tasty food and excellent cocktails. On the pricier side overall but well worth it for a celebration.
This place does have patio dining, but know that it's next to a a big parking lot and on a major blvd. Also, I had reservations for 8:00 on a Friday night. I stood in a long line of other people who had reservations, while a very small staff tried to keep the restaurant running. The hostess, who should have been taking our names and seating us, kept stepping away to clear tables, run food and take orders (thus the long line). We waited out there for about 20 minutes, looking at empty tables all over the place. Once we were finally seated, drinks took a very long time to arrive, food took forever, everything was slow and inefficient. The food was just fine. But I wonder how this place winds up with reservations completely booked up. I, myself, will never return there. If the owners cared about their customers, they'd staff appropriately.
Consistently great food!
My husband and I had a lunch date here for our anniversary here last week. I was so nice to eat out together! I highly recommend the ceviche and lucuma ice cream.
I had lunch with a friend and would be overcharged as much as $200. I pointed out the mistake and paid with 15% tip. Then I found I was overcharged with higher tip dollars.
It was my first time dining here and well worth the drive. We ate empanadas, mixed cerviche with chips (of course), chicken salad, and panna cotta. Every order was delicious.
Cute place. Delicious food. Nothing to complain about there. Maybe a little overpriced but it’s Walnut Creek so whatever. We would go back!!
Arroz con pollo was very flavorful. It had chicken mixed with the rice and also came with 2 chicken skewers. The ceviche is not commonly seen, its a bit soupy and it doesn't come with chips. You have to order it separately for extra $5! The bottle of sangria was more than enough for 2 people. It didn't come with ice, so it wasn't watered down. Mac & cheese was the best I've ever had!
Food has actually gotten better! Chicken paella is my new favorite
Every Friday is date night for us and we strive to find something different. We recently moved to the area and are fans of Peruvian food. This place came up in a search on Yelp.
The place was clean and COVID compliant. We dined outside in a quiet area but not too quiet, we like some background ambiance.
The food was EXCEPTIONAL and the staff great. We had a server called Tony and he could not have been better.
Menu was great both food and drinks.
Highly recommended just don’t steal the last table when we are on the wait list. We will be back.
Delicious food and unique cocktails. The Loma Saltado was a hit as was the pork dish.
Very accommodating for our request to sit inside. Our server was very attentive. Great food.
The empanadas are amazing!!
Everything we had, from drinks to dessert was DELICIOUS!!!
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Delicious wine. We will be back!
Food was amazing
We will go back!
Our second time at this restaurant. One of our favorites as we rarely eat at the same restaurant. But we love the fun vibe(they play great music), the friendly staff and delicious food! They have a good amount of outdoor seating with patio lights. The ceviche and the pork belly skewers are like “wow” moments for us. Highly recommend. Ive recommended to all my friends.
Food was terrific-menu great-
We were on the treat side of the restaurant-SO Noisy-motorcycles-firetrucks-not restaurants fault but maybe sitting on the side street might be quieter ?
Perfect venue for outdoor dining. Comfortable quiet. Everything we ordered was good a few nice specialty drinks. But they were pricey
Absolutely amazing experience. Came here for my birthday dinner with my fiancé. Not only was the food amazing, but the service from the staff was amazing. Such kind people with genuine love for Peruvian cuisine. We will absolutely be back soon!
Nice Peruvian restaurant. We went during COVID-19, meaning there wasn't the usual indoor dining crowds. The dishes (Aji de Gallina, seafood and chicken paella and cebiche dishes) were great.
Tony was a great server! He knew a previous drink (pisco mojito) that was no longer on the menu and it was perfect. Loved our dinner as always. Salmon and cebiche was do die for! Missed this place and can’t wait to go back!
Love this place, everything I've tried on the menu is fantastic. The service is friendly as well.
Great food and atmosphere. Everything was so flavorful. Seafood paella and mushroom chicharones seemed to be our table's favorites. Rotisserie chicken and Lomo Saltado were solid as well. Perfect night to sit out on the patio. Can see how this place would be great for dates or families. Will definitely return.
Food was great! Service was good. It was a bit expensive ($10 asparagus!) but still good.
Great dinner on the patio. Loved the food and service!
