The staff was great. It was my birthday and they let my friend and I stay longer than our reservations. We had such a great time. One of my favorite restaurants.
We was an incredible dining experience. Everything was divine. It was my second time and my husbands first. He couldn’t stop praising all the dishes.
Monday night dinner for two. First time at restaurant. Diverse, interesting, Peruvian menu. Excellent food. Friendly service, but a bit slow on the food delivery as it appeared they were somewhat understaffed (which seems to be fairly common right now for most restaurants as they come out of the Covid lock-downs). Place is also noisy. But with the excellent food and friendly service and a wide variety on the menu, definitely worth checking out, and we ourselves will return.
Food was incredible, but noise level was very high. I will definitely go back again.
Excellent service, knowledge of emu. Great food, very thankful !
Food was fresh and tasted good, but it wasn't great! A bit pricey for what it was. Service was very good.
Great casual bistro atmosphere, not stuffy or pretentious at all! Service was very pleasant and prompt. Cuisine was very fresh, wonderful flavors and prettily presented. Parking on the street was a bit of a chance but there is public parking just steps from the restaurant on the corner. We had a Copa America match on in the bar so there was plenty of enjoyable noise making but nothing out of the usual soccer match. We tried the calamari, ceviche, ensalada with shrimp. The tapas we ordered were in good portion size. Our only complaint was that there plantains advertised tasted suspiciously like bananas but the syrup and seasonings were pleasant. Overall would return for more than the tapas.
Great food. Good service. Not too crowded but the layout of the tables seems a little too crunched together-I’m glad there wasn’t a full dinner seating. Road noise is a little overwhelming…almost so loud that you have to talk extremely loud to carry a conversation with the person across from you. It was 7pm so there was still some commuters on the road
The food at Parada never fails to fisapount. The octopus was fabulous!
Atmosphere was great. The food was delicious and well prepared. Cocktails were good. The desserts were great overall great first time definitely will come back!
Excellent service and even better food! You can't miss with anything on the menu.
Way too noisy inside
Food was amazing! Wonderful flavors. Service was a bit slow but otherwise good. My only real complaint was that it was very loud, difficult to even hear our friends sitting across from us. I would have preferred a quieter setting but this was also due to the loud parties seated around us. This was our night out without kids so if I wanted to hear loud talkers I would have stayed home. ;) But very enjoyable, will definitely be back again!
This is a great restaurant. The food is excellent and the service is just as wonderful. I highly recommend this place.
We went to Parada for my friend's birthday. The food was delicious and the service excellent. They went out of their way to accommodate us. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to going back.
My advice is: Do not go there for dinner.
The quality of food is very low, while the prices are normal.
Stopped here for a late lunch. Service was warm & friendly and the food was perfection!
Service are friendly. Environment fun. Food fresh.
I thought the portion sizes were small and the prices high.
Great food! Don't go to Parada without trying the ceviche and we highly recommend the empanadas. A pisco sour goes great with their Peruvian cuisine.
Server was not very attentive. Did not acknowledge I was there for my personal birthday dinner. Asked for chicha (drink) server asked us for a 2nd option in case chicha was not available. She came back with 2nd option without saying chicha was not available ( obviously it was not ). Did not ask how everything was going. Server was gone for a long while. I asked mgr. at the end if she was the only 1. She was 1 of the only 2 servers.
It was a hot day. The had very small glasses of water. It took a while for busser to refill
Good food and service. Took a little while to get the food out though.
Great food and the best cocktails!!
It was fine
I just had my first trip to Parada in Walnut Creek. Overall, the food and drinks were very delicious. While I loved the roasted chicken at Limon in downtown Walnut Creek, I think I would travel to Parada the next time I am looking for Peruvian food. Overall, it was less crowded, less rushed, and easier to get a reservation for the same quality of food and drinks. My only con would be that they brought out our appetizer at the same time as the main meal. I don't like it when kitchens can't time that better. If you would like them to come out separately, I would definitely recommend just putting in your appetizer order first and ordering a main meal later.
This is highly recommended. Such good service, amazing food, and the space feels so comfortable. The cocktails, the empanadas, the ceviche, the chicken chicharrones, the scallops, the roasted chicken.... It was all divine. I'd like a sangria right now that I'm thinking about it.
Excellent food, unusual cocktails prepared by helpful, friendly bartender, who guided us thru menu and expertly described each dish and made awesome suggestions.
All around service surperb.
Food is always amazing. Seafood paella, Pork shoulder Adobo and Cebiche was all to die for! Reasonably priced for the portions served.
The service was outstanding! It was a very windy night and we were outside but we were seated where there were barriers against the wind and heat lamps that worked very well! The food was excellent and Tony was very attentive. It was a lovely evening!
Tony was fantastic. We had so much fun. Ceviche, entrees and dessert. Everything was excellent.
Had to constantly flag down waiter . Not real friendly either .
Loma salado beef was like shoe leather . Really bad
What a great meal! This was our first time here and we will be back again soon!
The food is delicious. Wait staff efficient. Can get noisy especially inside we ate outside .
The food and service here are fantastic! My husband and I love going here for special occasions and we never been disappointed.
We were in patio seating and it was sufficiently warm with plenty of outdoor heaters during a brisk evening. The service was excellent, food is reasonably priced and portions is more than we would normally eat in a restaurant. Food was delicious and came out at a reasonable time. Cocktails were great and everything was good! Nothing to complain about. We’ve been here a few times and it’s been consistent.
Excellent food, good servers. Ambience rated lower because we could not get them to close the front door for a long time. It was blowing 62 degree air onto our table
Great food, great service. Large variety of dishes on the menu and great cocktails.
Parada is a fun restaurant with great food! We loved all the tapas we ordered.
The evening we went we sat outside. It was freezing cold. They didn't have enough heaters so it was a bit uncomfortable. My wife is Peruvian so we're very familiar with Peruvian food and various Peruvian restaurants in the area. I'd say the food was good but nothing really stood out.
