Paoli Schoolhouse American Bistro is located on the banks of the Sugar River in Paoli, WI. The Schoolhouse was built in 1864 and was converted into a restaurant in 2008. We pride ourselves in supporting local vendors and ingredients to bring you the best quality dishes.

Enjoy a meal in our beautiful bistro or on the deck/patio as weather permits. We have a great selection of wine, cocktails, and carry a variety of domestic and craft beers.

The Schoolhouse is also a great venue for small events - micro weddings, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, baby showers, and any other celebrations!

Simply delicious. My mom, nephew and I enjoyed dinner on 6/27. We all had the burger because over the years have all tried it in the past and it simply does not disappoint! The burgers were all cooked perfectly and the sides were outstanding! Thank you for the consistency in food and service you provide!

This cozy restaurant was recommended for our anniversary! We enjoyed the guitar music and the whole ambience! The food was delicious! We will return!

This is a great restaurant tucked away in Paoli. We've been there once before and will definitely return. Each guest had a different meal, the Seabass was prepared perfectly and cauliflower mash tasty, the chicken was juicy and flavorfull and the Beef Wellington is something you do not see on a menu often so try it, excellent! Service was attentive and well timed.

This is a cute place in an old school house. Food and drinks are excellent. Staff very friendly. Ambience is really nice. Quiet live music in background. Will be back for sure

What a delight! First class all the way, from the greeting at the door through leaving. Service was great. My friend had the Roquefort Salad and I had the Beef Wellington. Bough of us left so happy! I highly recommend!

When we stay at our favorite B&B Cameo Rose, we always go to the Paoli Schoolhouse for a dinner. The food is outstanding, and the service exceptional. I just wish we lived closer so that we could enjoy this restaurant more often.

This is a gem of a Resturant! Fabulous food in a wonderful setting and world class live musical entertainment to boot! The music is not loud or over whelming, instead, it provides a great ambiance. Great place to go for a romantic dinner or dinner with group of friends.

Fantastic in every way! No place we'd rather be for a special dinner/evening entertainment than at the Paoli Schoolhouse! The food is always delectable--cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. We enjoyed every morsel of the warm bread, ceviche appetizer, and our entrees of melt-in-your-mouth tenderloin filets and walleye. Delicious sides (roasted potatoes and creamy mashed) plus fresh grilled asparagus and another side of a roasted cauliflower with a creamy blue cheese sauce. Being there on a Saturday night is an extra special treat because they always have wonderful entertainment and the music of Jim White is never disappointing. He is definitely one of the best! We love the atmosphere, food and beverages, the fabulous service and the weather was also perfect for outdoor dining on their beautiful stone patio. We'll be back sooner rather than later. Couldn't love it more!

A welcome feeling from the front door to our table! Waitstaff very helpful in assisting with choices- influenced several of us to make more bold choices. Very accomodating to a special request. Pace perfect that allowed the four of us to catch up and enjoy the flow of the meal. We'll be back- and won't wait for the next birthday!

Not an inexpensive meal, but excellent food. Good breadth of choices for entree, plenty for f food, excellent drinks. Great experience for a special day!!
