We went to the fabulous print show and wanted a delicious lunch afterwards. We went up to the host and asked for a table. “Oh(showing list) we are fully booked and there is no availability today, I am sorry”. It was just after 1pm. We leave the entrance and sit on a bench in the hallway - open up the Open Table app to find somewhere else to go et voila! We have 3 time slots to choose from immediately at Panorama. I guess those empty tables were just that - empty. We reappeared with our reservation intact and were seated immediately- and with a smile. I really do not like gotcha moments - however, this was one. Well - it went downhill from that with the exception of their delicious iced tea. Lackluster and tasteless (shame on the presentation) charcuterie platter. Salads were lifeless with barely any dressing, crispness, or promised ingredients from the menu. Panorama you need a retraining from back to front of house. Such a gorgeous location.

I took my mother to Panorama for her 90th birthday In hopes of having a memorable day at the art museum and a fantastic lunch. Though my reservation stated it was for a birthday celebration no mention was made of it. That was the first disappointment. Then we were told the soup of the day was mushroom bisque. It was a strange orange color. We overheard the waiter tell the table next to us that the soup was shrimp bisque. Either way the soup was just a thick broth of some kind with neither of those ingredients to identify it. Then there was the quiche. A tasty sounding assortment of three meats, cheese and spinach. It should have been an excellent treat and might have been if it had been heated before serving. It was refrigerator cold throughout. We wanted to tell the waiter to have it heated but he was not to be found and our “soup” was getting cold so we settled for the poorly done meal and bad service, paid the check (when we finally got the waiter’s attention) and tried to recoup the day with fine artwork instead.

Food very good, excellent sparkling wine. Kelvin is a friendly and hard working waiter; very personable. He has served me more than once and I hope he always works there!

The setting is very beautiful, and the ambiance pleasing. I especially love the views of Forest Park and appreciate the relatively quiet dining space. The staff are warm, inviting and good at their jobs. The food is good but the real draw is the Art Museum in all its beauty.

Very nice view of Art Hill. Décor fitting for a restaurant associated with an art museum. Service could have been better.

Excellent food - try the lemon panna cotta with rasberry gelee. We had Sunday brunch with steak and eggs plus the frittata. Highly recommend both. Kelvin was our server - ask to be seated in his section -great attention to detail.

Conveniently located at the eaat entrance of SLAM. My friends & I made reservations with enough time to explore the amazing Kehinde Wiley & Graphic Revolution exhibits today. Brandy was an ok server; nothing to complain about nor write home. It was pretty straight to the point (order, deliver, check). We all drink lol...so Chardonnay & Rosé domed the table. I opted for the Grilled Eggplant entree. A lovely tower of perfectly grilled thick sliced eggplant, forest mushrooms, quinoa, sweet red peppers, goat cheese & basil mint oil. It was delicious. My dining companions ordered the Quiche of the day & Ceasar salad. Both were pleased with presentation & taste. The dining room is spacious, open & offers a wonderful view overlooking Forest Park's Art Hill. Fresh roses, heavy silverware & linen napkins were the place setting. Coat check, hostess stand, covered parking are available for those wondering. ~CA
