   We always eat here when we go to the theatre. Never disappoints. Great choice of food, lovely staff and excellent value.

   Our table (for four) felt a little cramped but that's probably to be expected in a place just off Covent Garden. Service was the right level of attentive and food was very good, although after the whipped goats cheese starter (very tasty) I struggled with the coq au vin plus a side of spinach. I really didn't need dessert but, as two of us were celebrating our birthdays, complimentary creme brulees (complete with a candle in each) appeared. Thankfully we were given four spoons too. My friends each just ordered a main course and side - most of us has the coq au vin - and all enjoyed their meal. It was a very pleasant evening and at no point did we feel rushed.

   Lovely food and a fantastically fast and caring service. It was my birthday and the team made me feel special and made it memorable. I have eaten at many fine restaurants but was impressed with the quality of the food and how authentic it was to the name of the dish :)

   Mine and my friends food was really lovely. The dessert for me had too much almonds in it but apart from everything was lovely. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming:)

   Return visit as an anniversary treat, got treated so well. David and the team made sure we had a lovely evening. Starters beautiful, unfortunately they forgot my main but took hubbys back and re cooked it. Lovely atmosphere so definitely worth a visit.

   Service was not great. Had to ask twice for bread. Server dropped off bill and never came back so we could pay. Food was marginal.

    Delicious food. Excellent service. And the weather made it very enjoyable sitting outside. This was my second visit but certainly not the last one ! I am glad I booked a table, otherwise there was a waiting time.
