This was our first time at this restaurant, we ordered from the pre theatre menu and found the food to be excellent quality and the wine too was very good. Our waiter was delightful very polite and helpful. We will definitely return and I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

I love the Palm Court, it's my favourite restaurant in London and I always go there to celebrate special occasions as it never disappoints. This occasion was my mum's 80th birthday and we had a wonderful time. We both had steak, mine was the fillet which was perfectly cooked and the chips were delicious. As usual, the creme brulee for dessert was the best finishing touch. Love the atmosphere in this restaurant and, although it was busy, the service was great. The tables are a bit too close together but the restaurant is quite long and barrow so not much they can do about that. I'll definitely be back.

It was a special occasion and everybody in the restaurant were very kind and friendly. The food was excellent and in particular the mussels were outstanding. As usual the onion soup was perfect

Very good value and high quality Christmas lunch menu. Very attentive waiter. Lovely touch with cards and a lit candle in each of our desserts as we were celebrating our 70th birthdays. Would highly recommend. Great location just off Covent Garden.

Second visit to Palm Court Brasserie for a Christmas meet up with friends. Unfortunately, didnt have the best of times. We arrived early and was told we had 2 hours at table which was fine. Slow service and main meal took over 40 minutes to arrive. Was then told by waiter that we had 10 minutes to eat dessert and then whilst eating that our bill was brought over and waiter just stood there waiting for us to pay. We actually only had 1 hour 45 mins at the table. Felt very rushed. Not sure I will go back - a real shame.

Avoid at all costs. Firstly, it felt as though they squeezed all the tables closer to each other to fit as many people in at one time. Secondly the waiters insisted on having the Air conditioning on when it was 0 degrees outside! I was freezing and uncomfortable the whole time. Then, we waited such a long time for our food that our neighbouring table who arrived after us received their food and finished it before we even received ours. What is worse is when I mentioned this to the waiter he didn’t even apologise once. My drink arrived with black dirt in it which the waiter also seemed to be annoyed by when I mentioned it to her instead of people apologetic. When our food finally arrived it was taken away from me before I had finished eating and the bill was given to us without us even asking for it as if to rush us out to fit more guests in! In short, absolutely horrible experience where the restaurant makes you feel you are inconveniencing them with your custom. Obviously a tourist trap who relies on walk ins.

As always, a lovely greeting, when you dine on your own it can sometimes be awkward but not here. I always eat at the Palm Court when in town, which isn't as often these days but always worth it. Great table, the food is so good and the service from all the staff is as it should be. Had a lovely day and a wonderful lunch.

Very unpleasant staff. I made a reservation to celebrate Christmas with colleagues. They overbooked the restaurant and ended up putting us close to the till. The staff hit our table nonstop because there was no space for them to move around. It was even dangerous. We asked to change table and they were so rude. We left the restaurant without consuming (we saw other groups doing the same) since there were no space nor respect for the costumers.

Brilliant place to eat and will be back. Very warm welcome from all of the staff, all very attentive and the food was delicious. We had the set champagne menu for £48, for the service the food and the central location did feel this was brilliant value for money.

Great food, venue felt very authentic. Had my first onion soup which was great. Seafood linguine was one of the best I’ve had. Also props to the dark haired waitress which served us. Very enthusiastic and when I asked her for a dinner spoon, I forgot to ask for two but she had thought ahead and brought two with a massive smile on her face. She knows diners and is an asset to the restaurant. Unfortunately couldn’t find her when me and my partner left to say thanks but hope she’s told of this.

We were well looked after and enjoyed our meal. It was very reasonably priced as we were able to take advantage of the lunch offer that does not finish until 6.30 so as we were early, our meal was reasonably priced. Thank you to the staff who looked after us as we were also able to have a larger table so we could sit next to each other(I am a bit deaf).

Service was wonderful if a little quick - lots of Christmas lunches going on - food was shabby, overcooked fish, dry tasteless and roast potatoes so hard you could not cut them - looked deep fried. Would not visit again - disappointing.

Fantastic food and service, and a really buzzy atmosphere. The restaurant was full but we were well looked after by a very friendly team, and despite the number of covers they were serving, everything we ate was delicious and of good quality

This is my favourite restaurant in London. I love everything about it…the delicious food, the decor, the atmosphere, & the helpful staff. It’s so handy for Covent Garden & the pre- theatre 2 or 3 course menu is available from midday and is great value. Highly recommended.

Again a fabulous evening with lovely food and excellent service, the staff can’t do enough for you, this is how one would like to be treated when going out! Nobody’s fault but of course the Christmas period has started and so have the parties therefore the noise level was high but it didn’t stop us from having a wonderful time in your lovely restaurant. This is my second visit, and it was lovely! I had received an email offering a free bottle of bubbly for my birthday, so a friend and I booked. The staff were so friendly - everyone wished me a happy birthday. The service was nicely timed, and the food was excellent. The staff even bought out a complimentary dessert with a candle in, and a birthday card, after we had finished our mains. A thoroughly enjoyable evening! The only slight thing to be aware of is that the tables are very close together and therefore there isn’t an awful lot of space to move around, so of mobility or space is a concern then this is worth bearing in mind - but this was a minor point in an otherwise fantastic venue!

The food was good: I had baked brie followed by boeuf bourguingon - the meat was very tender in a tasty sauce with onions etc. I substituted dauphanious potates for the mashed and had a side dish of peas. The creme brulee went down very well afterwards. The wines seemed to have increased in price but I supose this has happened in most restaurants. Being the Christmas season the restaurant was very busy and noisy, with groups having Christmas dinner, so the 2 hour "rule" was imposed but that was understandable at this time of year.

Great service, very good food - my Boeuf Bourgignon was excellent, the food was properly hot and the beef very tender. The restaurant was packed, noisy and full. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant for a party of people to go out to.
