Our highly experienced team is led by co-owners Esther Imotan and Chef Zachary "Buzz" Willey. The service, wine, cocktails and food are all equally attended to ensuring a top-notch experience each time you visit.
Tasty, but not tasty enough to warrant such small portions.
Great food and wine
Maybe it was the real housewives of Salt Lake City making a lot of annoying chatter, but for what we paid... I’ve had far better dining experiences in SLC for half the price.
The cocktails were amazing. The wine was good, the food was delicious but over priced.
Loved it here. The salad and steak and scallops were excellent as well as the desert. Loved it.
Food was good but certainly not worth the price. Service was extremely slow.
I've been coming to Pallet for 7years and as I left the restaurant tonight I'm sad to say, it was probably for the last time. My family and I (8people) had dinner here tonight and it was very disappointing. The usual good/welcoming service felt flat & annoyed. The appetizers were average and skimpy. The Halibut main was dry, cold and tough. The pasta dishes were flavored with anchovy, but not in a good way, they had a heavy stale fish flavor and were left uneaten. A mushroom in broth main was simply strange - neither soup or salad... and the desert menu was completely unappetizing. When we mentioned the disappointment w the pasta - the response was a dismissive shrug.
I have always been excited to come to Pallet for a special unique and tasty dinner and am very sad to see such a fail.
Fantastic. This is experiential dining at its most pleasant. Awesome food, people, and environment.
What a wonderful meal. Everything was great. Pallet fully satisfies the palate. Must go back again.
Pallet is an immersive experience where the ambiance, cocktails, and food blend together seamlessly. Each dish is well balanced in flavor and involved subtle twists on familiar dishes. Overall, the evening was fantastic. Be prepared to enjoy 3 courses of app, entree, and dessert and pair with cocktails. It would be a cheap evening, but it will be fantastic!
Loved the organic, farm to table menu. The duck app was amazing!
Our server Daniel was superb. He guided us through the food options and the fabulous craft cocktails.
I would only go to Pallet if I wasn't very hungry and had a full wallet. The service is fantastic and the restaurant itself is cool. Beautiful artwork and a fun atmosphere. But four small scallops on a large bare plate left me feeling a little bummed. It used to be a better dinner for the money.
A number of friends have mentioned they like Pallet so we thought we'd give it a try. The food was good, although the appetizer portions were quite small. It took a little longer than expected to receive our main dishes. Service was very good and the server was pleasant.
This is in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Salt Lake City. Been here twice and both times the food and service were amazing! It’s small and intimate with a vintage vibe, very fun.
Every dish was oversalted, as mentioned by other customers. Some were charred. Does the Chef have little sense of taste??!?
Great service, great ambiance.
Overall very overpriced.
Uncomfortable outside seating.
The food didn’t quite live up to the reputation. Wasn’t terrible, but Not great. There are a few restaurants in SLC I’d rather dine at over Pallet.
Love this place! Been there several times and have never had a bad time or a bad meal. Definitely recommend going. A bit pricey, but well worth every penny!
Food and service were excellent; the noise level was excruciating and detracted from the overall experience.
Pallet NEVER disappoints. The food is sublime, the service is superb, and the drinks are amazing. Esther and her crew set a bar in Salt Lake City that's hard to top. Thank you guys!
Inventive, fresh, seasonal food with vibrant flavors; excellent wine/cocktail list. Pork chop nearly raw in center, re-grilled but then dry -- and server did not return for 15 min after served again; otherwise would have given 5 stars to this place. Amazing appetizers.
Best food in SLC!
Fabulous! Everything was perfect
Very good food and service.
service, food totally unacceptable. slow, incorrect order, extremely slow to follow through on orders, requests, drinks, etc
would not recommend to anyone and would definitely never return!
Great menu, well-plated. Pleasant service. Unusual desserts!
A well-finished place in which can taste good American food.
Has always been good but Saturday evening was above and beyond excellent. Now one of my all time favorites in SLC.
Our favorite place in the city...great food, spectacular cocktails, excellent service, and terrific attention to detail.
We really enjoyed the food at Pallet--we could tell everything was prepared with tremendous care. The portions weren't filling, even with dessert, though.
Awesome as always! Our server was simply fabulous!
Super interesting and cool decor in the restaurant, really innovative cocktail menu, and the food was complex and they really explore utilizing different combinations to tickle your taste buds.
Great Food, how come I did not discover it before. I am telling all my friends, service excellent
Incredible service from Tyler and impeccable FOH. Drink menu, while quite expensive for the dinner menu, was incredibly creative, artistic, and delicious. The ambience and furnshings were fantastic. The food, while beautiful and creative, wasnt terribly enjoyable. Sometimes lacking in what made the dish flavorful or unique (burrata with sunflower seed puree lacked enough contrast from the 3 tiny pieces of pickled fennel buried beneath the cheese). Still an incredible place and greatly enjoyed our night.
The ambiance is great, the food is great, but the service and staff is exceptional and I would return just for that.
Food and ambiance were excellent dan the server was very professional and anticipated our needs
Amazing food! Perfect combination of flavors and texture! It is definitely a place where you want to go for a sophisticated and tasteful dinner!
Food was exemplary and service was attentive and relational!
Small menu where you have to ask what a lot of the ingredients are (maybe trying a little too hard?). Food & presentation was good- but again, not much to choose from. Ambience was dark & pretty noisy. Wine was overpriced.
My girls birthday. She loved it.
One of the nicer eateries in downtown SLC. Can't say enough good things about this place - and the cuisine is healthy and sexy!
