Palette provides a colorful dining experience with an American inspired menu and seasonally rotating cocktail selections with an emphasis on seasonal colors and flavors. With a patio on East Washington directly across from Breese Field we provide a lively pregame destination.

Located in the former Mautz Paint Company warehouse sharing the space with Hotel Indigo. We kept our buildings architectural features intact while updating the space with contemporary design elements and nostalgic touches. We wanted to keep the space faithful to its roots; filled with hues of colors and textures reminiscing of times when the East Washington corridor was a booming industrial area in the city.

We had two dinners and a breakfast there. All of our food was was excellent, servers always available and very helpful, music not overly loud.

Palette Bar and Grill is a favorite dining spot. The service (Hailey was the Server on this visit, and she was sweet, knowledgeable, and helpful) is consistently friendly and helpful. The food is delicious. The decor is attractive, and they offer outdoor dining. We tried a new dish (new for us), Achiote Pork Nachos. It was awesomely tasty. My husband tried a new cocktail (again, new for us), The 75. We both enjoyed it. No review would be complete without complimenting the General Manager, Bobby Gunther. Excellence starts at the top, and Bobby's passion and commitment to the staff, restaurant, and bar make a difference.

Palette Bar & Grill is a gem. It is apparent and impressive that the General Manager, Bobby Gunther, is committed to excellence for the restaurant and supportive of his team. Kevin, the Server, is friendly and helpful. He makes dining a pleasurable experience. The food is well-prepared and delicious. We recommend the Fish Tacos, the Grilled Salmon, and the Friday Fish Fry (perfectly prepared). Our favorite end to the meal is the icebox cake. Cocktails? My husband loves the Beet Bauhaus, and I enjoy the Clean Slate. Wine? The Carmenere is an enjoyable red. Palette Bar & Grill is a favorite dining spot.

Celebrated a birthday at Palette. Our party enjoyed: BAVARIAN SOFT PRETZEL BITES , GRILLED SALMON, and CITRUS MINT BEET SALAD and a few of their featured cocktails. All were amazing especially the dessert, Tiramisu. Our server, Maeve, was especially friendly and delightful. Would return.

Celebrated my birthday here and the waiter was so friendly. This is my second time eating here. I got the fish tacos and tiramisu. Both were delicious!

The appetizers were very good but the main meals were lacking. The burgers were extremely small (compared to the bun) and the four shrimp on my salad had a strange smell.

Drinks were great. Majority of us ordered the fish tacos and they were a bit salty. Our waiter was super nice and even shared a quick story about the history of the building

My husband and I consistently enjoy dining at Palette Bar and Grill. Management is impressively skilled at hiring and training staff, and the staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive without being intrusive. Kevin was the server for this visit, and he was exceptional. We recommend the Soft Pretzels, Grilled Salmon, and Brussels Sprouts (perfectly prepared and flavorful), and, on Friday, the Fish Fry. If you are interested in cocktails, we recommend the Beet Bauhaus, Espresso Expression, and Clean Slate. For wine, we love the Cassa Silva Carmenere.
