    Palates is terrific. The name, appropriate for an elegant restaurant in a world class wildlife art museum, evokes wonderful memories of its sister at MOMA in NYC. We love Palates and will come often. Great menus. Great ambience. Great service. Priced well.

    You can’t beat the view, especially on a perfect fall day. But also, the service was friendly, food came promptly, it was delicious, especially the trout sandwich. Reasonably priced as well. A winner of a lunch!

    What an elevated experience to dine outdoors at an art gallery with a valley view! Friendly staff and excellent food. Just a little traffic noise down below on the road but I’m so glad we took a chance our one day in Jackson and chose you!

    Very good food with attentive service. We asked to sit outside but there were no available tables. Indoors seating was ok, with a lot of ambient noise and more like a cafeteria than a restaurant, though our waitress was attentive and quite good.

    This used to be a very good spot for lunch, however this time the food was not good, soup was room temperature, and a bus tour guide was making announcements to his group and the entire restaurant. The server was also not well trained.

    Palate is only open for lunch. That being said we sat outside on a beautiful sunny day with the amazing views. Service was good. The waiter was attentive. The food was amazing - we had the Power Bowl and the Watermelon & Heirloom Tomato salads! Very flavorful and just the right amount. We even toured the museum after lunch. A wonderful afternoon.

    We had to wait 15 mins upon arrival for our table to be ready. I had requested an outside patio table that was shaded. Sadly the request wasn’t honor. Food tasted slightly bland. Views are incredible.

    Small menu, but really good overall. We had the bison gyros, the beet salad with chicken, and the kid's hamburger. Their homemade chips were delicious! Wish there was a tad more variety to the menu, but what they do have is done well!

    Four of us enjoyed everything we tried. Raves on game stew, the gabagoo( my favorite from previous dining), small Beet salad large enough to share and the bison club was very tasty. Wonderful lunch. Service by Beyza was excellent. Become a museum member and save 20% which we appreciated. A favorite place for lunch!!

    Delightful find away from the crowds in Jackson. Part of the national wildlife museum, which is also worth a visit. Had an early afternoon meal on the terrace and could not have been happier with the food or the service.

    Beet salad was excellent. Stew very good. Personally I felt Chicken Salad missed the mark and was over powered by bun. Gyro very good. JoJo’s not impressive. Setting was excellent outside with long range views. I have heard by locals it can be hit or miss.

    Wonderful food, gorgeous setting, and the National Museum of Wildlife Art! A perfect morning. I had the heirloom tomatoes and watermelon salad with green pea falafel. Delicious, beautiful presentation and great balance of flavors and textures; a satisfying entree. Dessert was chamomile panna cotta with fresh berries - light and flavorful, a perfect ending to a great meal.

    Our server, Erin, was absolutely wonderful. Palate is always a good place for lunch. The Gabagool sandwich has a delicious variety of meat and vegies and is a favorite. The homemade chips are divine. Small Beet salad is one of the best we've enjoyed. Generous serving of greens, beets and feta cheese to share. After dining enjoy the world class art.

    We had a wonderful, quiet lunch in a beautiful setting with a spectacular view. The staff was courteous and friendly and allowed us plenty of time to visit and make up our minds about the menu.
