   Terrible service (we ordered starters- they forgot to bring them!), food very poor and surprisingly expensive. Best avoided.

   Restaurant was almost empty when we arrived. This is not too comforting in a large city. It seemed more like a lunch or take away dinner restaurant. That said, service was good and the food was very good. The price seemed a little high for what we received. That may have been because we had to pay for individual bottles if water.

   I had been meaning to try Pakhtoon since noticing that it had replaced the rather uninspiring kebab joint that used to have the site. My expectations took a dip with the menu, which didn't seem terribly well put together (or error checked). But when the food arrived, it was a very pleasant surprise. The team in that kitchen can cook! The style is a little more 'home spun' than 'high street' Indian, and all the better for it. Tandoori salmon had great flavour, just enough char, but still moist and soft inside. Lamb curry, despite the nondescript name, was rich, with balanced, fragrant spicing; not at all hot. And the dal was deep and creamy, almost (but not) to a fault. It wasn't flawless - the plate for the salmon was far too small, making it tricky to eat, and the salad alongside it, dry and un-dressed - but mistakes were easy to forgive. If you're in the Marble Arch area, and fancy something more rewarding than the standard chains, and different to the many Middle Eastern places further up Edgware Road, Pakhtoon is well worth a try.

   Wonderfully aromatic and spicy chicken biryani and fish curry. We also had garlic naan which was also just perfectly spicy for us. We sat at a window table and watched the traffic on Edgware Road. This is a small restaurant, but it was not busy when we arrived. Very authentic and reasonably price Indian food for London.

   we had a great meal in here, massala tea was good (really sweet). Unfortunately no mango lassies.

   The food and service was absolutely wonderful. The host was very polite and attentive, and explained what every sauce, chutney and dips were that we had with each course. The Tandoori Prawns and Tandoori Lamb were both fabulous. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant for people who love Indian food.

   We went to check out this place after reading excellent reviews on tripadvisor. May have been a one off, but we tried the tandoori lamb chops which was very dry as well as the , both highly recommended by previous diners and the waiter. The potato dishes were nothing special If you would like a better dining experience, do check out Norjahaan 2

    Food was freshly prepared and delicious. Chicken and lamb tikka were excellent. Staff were all very friendly and welcoming.
