   The meadery was closed indefinitely with a note on the door. Despite a reservation, nobody showed up. Ended up bar hopping around Chinatown.

   This place is closed indefinitely. Please see photo taken on 9/7/2018. It would be helpful if they removed themselves from OpenTable and updated their website.

   Location is closed. Reservation was pointless. Needs to be removed as a business since it is not open.

   Wow, and not in a good way. It had the makings of a nice evening. Mead tasting, live music and dinner, what could go wrong? Well, just about everything. We were greeted at the door and shown to our table after a quick clean up. We let our server know we had a Groupon for the mead tasting and he wasn't sure what the deal was, so after he checked we were informed the Groupon "tour and tasting for two" was good for one glass of mead each. Unfortunately the sparkling mead that I was most interested in was not available so I ordered one of the others. The mead was served room temperature in a small champagne glass about 3/4 full. So, the Groupon that I paid 21.00 for (value was supposed to be 35.00) got us no tour and no tasting other than the 10.00 glass of mead each. That's 20.00 not 35.00 and I paid 21.00. Ok, live and learn. We still had live music and dinner. We ordered an appetizer and decided to split the porterhouse steak. The appetizer arrived quickly and was tasty. The steak also arrived timely, it was split in the kitchen but served with plain white rice, no sauce, no presentation. We were provided with eating utensils but no steak knives. We requested steak knives from our server, presuming this was an oversight. We could see him talking to the owner and the person that was apparently cooking the food on the single burner set up in the back of the room. He returned to the table when we were about halfway done with the steaks and informed us they did not have steak knives but he would run out to the store to get some for us. No steak knives for the 47.00 steak? There were 2 steaks on the menu, but no steak knives. No, the steak was not tender enough to easily use the butter knife we were given. I am aware what 47.00 can buy at a fine restaurant and the steak we were served was not even close. Good thing the owner stopped by our table to chat and he gave us a discount so that it was closer to the value of the dinner, not counting the Groupon let down.

   Excellent visit. Entertainment was great. Brian was extremely personable and hospitable for a busy eve. Learned about mead which we had never heard about. Didn't eat, was just there for the tasting. Great visit.

   super chill, on the verge of blowing up kind of place. intimate and selective on one on one interaction with Mr. Paisley. Did not consume any food, but program would not let me enter till a rating was given

   Made a reservation for wine tasting for 8:30pm not knowing they close at 5pm. No one called to confirm or email saying that they close. Wasted my time going figuring out how to get there on my vacation.

    Brian is a great host who is happy to answer any questions and make you feel at home. The mead is quality! Try all of the different types he makes.
