Fratelli Pagliuca's Restaurant is like a little corner of sunny Italy located in Boston's north end. It has been an oasis of old-country Italian food for decades, and is family owned and operated. The Pagliuca family originated in Motefalcione Avellino, and when they moved to the United States, they brought time-honored recipes with them. When you visit Fratelli Pagliuca's Restarurant, you will enjoy entrées like chicken campagna, which is a boneless chicken breast sautéed with mushrooms, peppers, onions and potatoes. You can also choose from steaks, chops, seafood and of course pasta.

If you would like to enjoy a drink before dinner, visit the cocktail bar. Wine, beer and cordials are also available with your meal. Fratelli Pagliuca's restaurant is warm, welcoming and offers great food.

I've been to several great Italian places in the North End. This one would rank last on my list. It's not terrible, but I would describe it as adequate rather than good. Like most of the North End spots, they were busy and the place was loud. The staff provided good service, but the menus they gave us were sticky, and the water glasses were still warm from the dishwasher. Food was pretty traditional, not creative, which is not a ding, but you can find much better in this neighborhood.

Charming restaurant. Food and service was great! Only glitch was we had to wait 30 min beyond reservation time to be seated.

Our first dinner after landing in Boston on a family vacation. Perfect intro to the amazing food this town has to offer!

The food was decent, not a huge fan of their red sauce. The sauce was very acidic and did not coat the food well. The restaurant was small and very loud. Service was quick and attentive. A good meal overall, but you may be able to find better.

My family of six enjoyed a simply delightful meal here. The food was delicious, and the ambiance was perfect. They even had someone playing the accordion for each table. The staff were both friendly and welcoming while still being incredibly efficient. Maria is simply delightful!

They bring bread and dipping oil when you are seated. The bread is terrible - like a cheap French bread from a grocery store. The highlight of dinner was the meatball appetizer. They were outstanding and the red sauce they were served in was delicious (along with the dollop of ricotta). The mains were nothing to write home about. I had cacio de Pepe which was bland and dry. My husband got the lasagna and loved it. The wine list is terrible (think grocery store) and the cocktails we ordered were sub par. Two singers strolled through the restaurant (unexpected and odd) and when they finished they came to each table with a bucket for tips and an iPad with a Venmo QR code. Go for the meatball app and lasagna.
