We had an issue with the server but Greg the manager made it right. The food was excellent as always
Called about Monday lobster special. Mgr said available all day , made reservations @ 6;30, ordered lobster. All out, very disappointing , felt like bait and switch and waiter offered no alternative. Spent a lot more but food was very good. Beware, they might get you too. Would have appreciated a heads up from manager when I called. I mean he did say all day!!! Very suspicious!!!!
Waiter greeted us and was informative but not pushy
We decided on clam chowder with the small portion meal
Together it was the right size
I ordered the filet and my lady ordered the sea bass
Waiter brought me a steak knife which I told him was not required as the steak was so tinder my dinner knife was plenty
Fish was not over cooked as so many places was very tasty and seasoned perfectly
We are not locals but will pass on the Pacifica to friends and when we travel it will be on our stop and dine list
We always recommend Pacifica for friends. We are usually there once a month. The staff is wonderful
Wonderful service from Veronica. Always great Sea Bass
I am really not sure why had never been to Pacifica Seafood in the past. The food was great. The AHI Tartare was incredible! Everything was very fresh and the service was great.
We love the happy hour and appetizers. The main course wasn’t the best, but was okay. We will be back at happy hour!
The seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. The service was outstanding. All of the staff were friendly and efficient. The oysters on the half shell were excellent. We were seated promptly and a server arrived with some piping hot sour dough bread, it was very good. We were celebrating a birthday and received a generous ice cream desert at no charge. Great meal!
Excellent service et la nourriture excellente.
Grandement apprécié l’entrée de date et bacon et le ragoût de fruit de mer est le meilleur que nous avons goûté à ce jour.
Une très belle découverte et nous allons y revenir
I was visiting out of town and the place was recommended by the hotel I was staying at. The restaurant is casual with an upscale feel. The wait staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was paced perfectly. I love how many of the entrees were offered at full or half portions. I had the Chilean Sea Bass which was very good. I would definitely patronize again if visiting in the area.
Had a reservation for 4 @ 5p and waited 10+ min while many empty tables were available. They were obviously not prepared for their reservations and we were left standing in “no man’s” land for a long 10 min. Once seated, we had a great experience!
It was great! Loved the Alaskan King Crab add on to dinner!
Pacifica's Early Bird Dinner is a great way to try the restaurant's excellent food at a reasonable price. We appreciated the ice cream pie dessert provided to our friend, who was celebrating her birthday.
unbelievable customer service, had reserved two weeks before and asked specifically to be seated outside since the restaurant is on the second floor and it got beautiful view and when we got there I realized how hot it was to seat outside, before I asked if we can be seated inside, there was table already set in two different areas inside and out, for us to have options I was surprised how thoughtful they were. And apart from it, how good food was and the drinks couldn't believe it I asked for double shot and I think got served twice as much for same price I would recommend this restaurant to every one.
Restaurant is way to noisy. We were seated right next to the happy hour crowd and they were extremely noisy. Would not return until you can sit on the patio to get away from the moise.gf
Always have a very enjoyable dinner at Pacifica. Service was excellent, food was great. Love the option of full and small portions. Look forward to a return.
Service was great, the waiter was friendly and attentive.
The food was superb, tasty, and tastefully prepared.
Loved the 50% bottles of wine. Great idea. Food was excellent. I will be back.
Service was great... feel that there was way too much sauce on the food.
Excellent salmon & short ribs :)
Delicious Chilean sea bass. Great outdoor dining, terrific service, a Palm Desert regular for us.
As usual I had the sea bass; and it was as good as ever. Wife had half order of lobster tails and was very satisfied. Pacifica has plenty of help for the waiters. Staff was efficient and cordial.
Good seafood restaurant in the Desert........El Paseo
Overall this was a very nice dinner. Service was way above average. Very reasonable Martini prices.
Only issue was the pork chop. Hard like a Rock! Very tasty but had to ask fir a heavy duty steak knife to cut through it. Not very chewy.
But overall no complaints, would go back in a heartbeat.
We go to Pacifica as often as we can. It is our go-to spot for great seafood and other goodies. You can't miss when you go to Pacifica.
We enjoyed a wonderful anniversary celebration, coupled with delicious food and wonderful service by our superior server Sam! Thank you.
Parents and my husband and I out for dinner enjoying each other’s company over a wonderful dinner.
Aside from always great quality, service and ambience, many items now available as half orders at a reduced price. Welcome addition.
Excellent food and excellent service
Wanted a nice restaurant for a dinner while on vacation. It was my me, husband and our 4 year old. Since it was early July, the restaurant wasn’t overly crowded for dinner but it was still a steady crowd which was a good sign. I appreciated the prompt service once we were seated and the warm sourdough bread with butter. We ordered the grilled octopus for our appetizer and it was fantastic! Perfectly cooked...so tender; our 4 yr old even loved it. My husband and I shared a wedge salad and we noted that it was appropriately chilled with the right amount of blue cheese. Also a great sign of a restaurant that appreciates the details. We ordered the chicken tenders for our daughter and loved that her meal came with a beverage and an ice cream sundae. My husband ordered their special salmon dish and I ordered the seafood stew. Neither disappointed and we finished them both. We each ordered specialty cocktails which were surprisingly on the sweeter side, so we followed up with an old fashioned and a gin martini...much better! Overall it was a great dining experience!
Great Chef and view. Price fair but a bit high. Order before 5:30 and you have a 22.75 meal currently on sunset menu.
Mediocre at best. Fir being touted as the best place in the Valley for fish and seafood, the options were limited. Underseasoned food, dirty glasses, and sloppy plating. Geared to a much older crowd.Restaurant had a smell of mildew.
Overall great service! This is the night where another earthquake it, everyone was calm and kept it together.
I had the Chilean Sea Bass and it was horrible. I have had this before and it was very good. Not quite sure what happened this time. I was very disappointed with this meal
Warm, comfortable atmosphere. Engaging and cordial employees,
Bartenders very attentive and amiable. Waiters were very good. Drinks and food excellent. Maitre ‘D was the only negative. He was very officious and not friendly. Same guy is the reason we left without eating last time we went there. Management needs to give him smiling lessons and a personality course.
We checked out the menu on line and we were looking forward to having seafood. Upon arrival the menu was completely different, with very few seafood choices on the Sunset menu and different prices. I had chicken and my husband had pasta. It was a bait and switch maneuver that I didn't appreciate.
It was fine. Just nothing exceptional. Appetizers are VERY expensive and not worth almost the cost of an entree.
It was my husband’s birthday..you were able to accommodate us with the cabana and it was great! Thank you. 5 stars for us!!
