HIghly recommend the Pacifica. Had dinner on the patio with misters. They have added new dishes to their menu including Gluten Free with calorie counts. Especially liked our wait staff who were there when needed.
Delicious food, great views. Best seafood restaurant in the desert.
The service was exceptional
Way too overpriced for what you get. There should be no reason to charge these prices. In addition, the fish selection was pretty limited. Mostly shellfish and no regular fish to choose from. One would expect a seafood restaurant to have a rather wide selection of fish to chose from and different preparations as well.
Love this place. Always come here when in the desert. Have plenty of great places where we live in Los Angeles, and Pacifica always stacks up. Love the sea bass, catfish, ahi and fresh oysters. Great selection, ambiance and service. Try to sit outdoors on patio if not too hot outside.
The food was great, the service was great. It’s a bit pricy but great for a special night out. The o my thing I didn’t like was having to sit so close to another couple dining. It felt really uncomfortable and we felt like we couldn’t have a conversation without them being able to hear every word. We were so close it felt like we were dining with them.
Will not be one of our go-to restaurants.
The food and service were great. Was not fond of the table for 2 it was too close to people next to us. Overall a great experience.
Place lacks any type of soul. It serves food. Food is fine. Service is fine. Nothing special.
A little overpriced for what u get but food was good. Dessert menu is interesting but we opted for liquid sweets. The octopus appetizer was actually quite excellent. They shuld bump a version of it up to main course. Service was profressional.
AMAZING! Will definitely return
Great service and wonderful evening!
Overall good second time around ... but main course arrived before starters were even cleared away... very fast turnaround.
Great restaurant, great food, great ambiance - I had a unique situation with one server but all the other servers seemed really good and management really looked out for me after understanding my issue
This is our favorite restaurant in the Coachella Valley. The food has always been excellent, cooked to our specifications and served piping hot. We like the wine selection and have always had attentive service by pleasant personnel. We usually dine at Pacifica 4 or 5 times a year even though we do not dine out frequently.
The service was very efficient. We were able to have appetizers, soup, and main dinner entrée in under one hour. The clam chowder was very flavorful with clams, potatoes, etc. It didn't taste watered down. The main entrées we had of swordfish and sea bass were very tasty. Only wish they were bigger. The appetizer of calamari wasn't as good -- more like average. Just didn't rise as high to the soup and entrees.
Good food, decent service. We liked that they offer full or half plate serving sizes.
Good food and service
Food not as good as normal
This is the best seafood restaurant in Palm Desert - we ate here twice during our week vacation in this area. First night at the bar & last night on patio under a private cabana. Staff is the best too. They offer half portions which are plenty - and the surprise birthday gift sent me over the top. Can’t wait to return. PS - the views on patio are also the best dining options in this area - especially at sunset.
Good menu! We really enjoyed the chilled lobster appetizer. The sword fish was prepared nicely and the Ciopinno was a clear broth with lots of flavor. In addition, they poor a good drink and the service was excellent.
Great food & excellent service. Would definitely come back when in town.
Great Menu And Presentation Of Food
Items Selected Were Delicious
The restaurant can be a little hard to find since it is on the second story of the Gardens at El Paseo. If one parks on El Paseo, One must walk to the back of the development, take the escalator up to the second level and then walk back to the front to find Pacifica, however it is an exercise well worth taking. The terrace is a lovely setting for dinner especially in the warm early summer air. We were partaking of the Restaurant Week special menu, and selected scallops and two crab cake appetizers, followed by Grilled Whitefish, monkfish and a a seafood linguine in a pineapple cream sauce, the hit of the evening. Dessert was tiramisu and ice cream cake. Exceptional, all of it.
We feel so fortunate to have discovered this special restaurant. The food, the ambiance, the staff were all wonderful. We were so delighted after our first visit that we returned the next night. The menu had so many intriguing choices it was difficult (and fun) choosing what to have. We love the ability to have half portions. This is a restaurant we will return to every time we visit the desert.
This restaurant is a step ahead in food preparation. First time at this restaurant and went for Restaurant Week. Each of the tree courses were memorable. The crab cake appetizer was the best I had in the desert, in fact maybe the best ever. The Mahi Mahi was exceptional . The ice cream pie was a great way to end the mean. Oh, that's right, it was the special coffee drinks that ended the meal. Of course, there was an additional charge for the coffee drinks. All in all, if it wasn't so hot, we would have enjoyed the outside patio with great views of the valley. If you have never been there, it is located on the second floor with the parking deck only a few steps away.
Good food, good wine deals.
Everything was great especially our waiter Ervin
Restaurant week. Love the opportunity to try a variety of dishes.
We went for dinner on a late Sunday afternoon and sat in the outside patio area. We were pleasently surprised to learn that all wine bottles we're half price. I guess it's a June promo.
We had the afternoon 2-course special and it was awesome. We enjoyed the food, wine and service. This was our second visit, but won’t be our last.
This was our first time here and we will be back! We sat outside and enjoyed the night air with the misters going. The staff was very attentive. We especially liked the oysters 👍
Great place for outdoor dining and good seafood.
Always a favorite
Our dinner was outstanding. We love Pacifica and the cuisine is always outstanding, along with the service.
Beautiful restaurant. Horrible food. Service was not good.
Great offering for Restaurant Week in the Valley
First-rate experience. Excellent wine pairings. Flawless service and food.
We really enjoyed the monk fish on the restaurant week menu.
We were celebrating my Father’s 92th Birthday. Every thing was just great! It was a plus to enjoy Restaurant Week
Brought neighbors whom had never been here. They loved it. All meals did not come out st the same time. That was a little awkward.
