We love a Tuesday night here- go early for sunset dinner special and get 1/2 price wine. Terrific service...what more could you want!
New waiter was very friendly and offered for my wife and me to sample wines by the glass. He did not deliver the check on a timely basis. My wife’s salmon was overcooked.White wines by the glass were fine but did not offer anything very special
Excellent food, cocktails and service. An exceptional place to dine. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent food. Nice server. The manager came up to us and had a really nice conversation.
Great fish dishes. The wedge salad is really good. Ahi poke is tasty. $14 for a children’s dish is way too much.
Very reliable good quality food.
Another beautiful dinner out on the patio! We split a seafood platter, the calamari and a seafood stew, and loved all of them! The remodel is stunning, the food always delicious, and the service fantastic. You can really feel how much everyone cares about the customers. It's been very busy lately, so I'd definitely recommend reservations.
Try the new octopus it’s incredible! The ceviche and the bacon wrapped dates are also a must for appetizers!
Scallop appetizer was delicious but everything else was just yuk! Congealed soup, flavorless caesar, and on and on. Nothing was fresh or intersting.
My wife’s tuna entree was just average, accompanied by a couple of carrot slices and white rice. Too much sauce. Portion size was fine, just not that interesting for the price. My salmon was good, but again, but too pricey.
We have been going to Pacifica for several years and have yet not had a bad experience.
Food was excellent
The restaurant was nice but the food was mediocre at best.
Service okay. Waiter thought I said procesco but I said moscato. Okay though. My friend didn’t like her drink at all.
Service was great, food was tasty. A little pricey though.
We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. Our server was great! He allowed us to leisurely enjoy the evening without feeling rushed. He was knowledgeable on the menu and shared the feature of the evening with the table. The ambiance was fantastic and the food was delicious. Pacifica is one of my favorite restaurants and it never disappoints. A special thank you to Andy for ending our evening with 2 desserts. Our client loved the exceptional service the restaurant provided!
Fabulous lunch out on the patio. We all had (and loved) the Dungeness Crab Louie--so much delicious crab in this salad!!! Beautiful view, great service, great bottle of wine... just a perfect lunch before some shopping around El Paseo. Don't miss it!
Always a favorite restaurant for us. We had the half order of Chilean Sea Bass....just delicious!
Dave, Greg, and Andy were very hospitable. We love Pacifica!
fantastic food and service. beet and arugula salad and scallops were excellent. service was excellent. we dined outside and it was very pleasant. great place. prices reasonable considering the neighborhood.
Very nice! My husband ordered the seafood stew and was disappointed in his choice as it seemed to be more like a seafood soup.
My wife and I would classify Pacifica an excellent restaurant. We find it one of the best all around eateries
In the desert.
Great place to have dinner especially if weather permits, sit outside.
Evening started great with attentive servers. We finished our first round of cocktails and waters with our appetizer (the calamari was excellent). Our entrees arrived and we asked the server that delivered our food to send our original server over because we wanted to get another round of drinks to have with our meals. We didn’t see our waiter again until about 3/4 of the way through the meal so we didn’t get to enjoy our drinks (or even some more water) until our last few bites. All in all, it wasn’t a dealbreaker because the food and atmosphere is very good but it’s a simple thing that can improved on.
Very nice quiet evening. Not very busy for Saturday night. Oysters were amazing as well as our dinner! Servers were attentive.
Enjoyable evening; good food and wine.
Always enjoy eating at Pacifica. Consistently good food and our server was exceptional!
So delicious! The seafood platter was just incredible. Also loved the signature sugar-spiced salmon. Had a beautiful table outside, with a gorgeous view. The remodel is beautiful, the service always fantastic... this is always our favorite place to go.
Lunch with out of town guests and a perfect time
Very good service. We had the recommended sea bass with coconut rice. Wonderful!!
We have found Pacifica to be consistent in offering excellent quality food. Great seafood and love that there are many options to sample several dishes. (Every main dish is offered in half or full size.) This restaurant is VERY busy during the high desert season. It can get a bit noisy and hectic. When we had an early reservation (5:30 pm) we were not offered the specials of the day. Not sure if that is policy or an oversight of the server who didn't offer an explanation or apologies when asked.
1st time guest, definitely will be returning. GREAT food with very attentive service. The view from the terrace at Sunset was spectacular, worth the price of dinner alone!!
Everything was mostly ok except we had a terrible time with the waitress mis-timing food. One of our guests never got her salmon so she asked to cancel the meal. But people kept coming by asking if she wanted her salmon. Then she got the bill for her "happy hour" priced salad and it was mis-priced! She asked the manager to comp her salad which he did and he was very nice and gave her a gift card for another visit.
Just as we were getting ready to leave a food runner came by with a plate of salmon looking to deliver it!
Everyone else had mostly a good experience except another lady in our group had ordered a bowl of clam chowder that also came very late and we had to ask where it was. Definitely an off night for the waitress or something.
Excellent service. Food was very good. Loved being able to sit outside and enjoy the view of the mountains and the sunset.
Pacifica is always a solid place to have a great lunch at a decent price. Gina did a great job taking care of us and the fellas always kept the warm bread/butter coming along with our water glasses topped off. Good food, great service!
First of all, I don’t give anybody five stars. So for me, a four star rating is a pretty fine restaurant! We really enjoyed our meal there; the service was attentive without being obsequious, the setting was lovely and the food was outstanding. I have the R he stack appetizer and my daughter had the ceviche, and both servings were so generous that we really didn’t have room left for entre. Fortunately, we had a great server who knew more than we did, and she didn’t take her on tree order until after she had brought out the appetizers and we realized an entrée was not going to happen. Both of our appetizers were fantastic, very generously portioned, and beautifully presented. All in all a lovely evening
I celebrated an 8 year anniversary. We were treated with nothing but hospitality. Our first visit will now be something we plan on doing for many other occasions.
Excellent service from our waiter Andy. Food all came at the same time for our party of 6. Hot and very delicious. Definitely going back.
This restaurant came highly recommended and did not disappoint.
We had a nice meal in an outdoor section of the restaurant overlooking the El Paseo shopping street. The food was good, if a little pricey. We have limited experience with seafood restaurants in the Palm Desert area, so we would give Pacifica our qualified recommendation.
