Great meal! Beautiful patio
We were seated on the Patio as I had requested when I made the reservations through Open Table. It was a “breath taking” evening on the patio with the sun having just set so the orange and pink clouds were hovering over the mountains and the whole view was like a painting. The service was superb and the food was was delivered to our table just as ordered with the couple of teaks that we each had requested. Everything and all of the staff were 1st class and eager to be helpful and often checking back to see if they could be of ant further service to us. We stayed until closing because of the overall ambience BUT never felt rushed by the staff. We will return and I highly recommend the restaurant.
Excellent food in great outdoor deck. Attentive waiter. Definitely a repeat.
Baked Scallop Appetizer is a must!
Celebrating our last night in the desert. Nice table inside, looking out north to the sun setting in the desert. Extensive patio dining as well. Fabulous seafood options - really loved the fresh halibut and the seared scallops. Appreciated that they have smaller plate size options of most entrees. Also, very good house label wines.
This was our first time dining at Pacifica..recommended by many friends...we will not need to return. For a “Fine Dining” restaurant....it was MOST DISAPPOINTING!! We were dining with new friends for the first time, and chose this restaurant for its ambiance and service...
From the start..there is not a reception area to greet you..you walk into the bar. We went back out looking for a door to the dining room..there was not one...only through the noisy bar. We were seated at a window table...that was sooo tight..we had to rearrange the table and chairs to get in the corner seat. It was NOT a full dining room..but the tables are too close together. Our server was somewhat friendly..but very rushed...as was his assistant....mind you..there were many empty tables We asked for some bread...we had seen other tables had received a basket. We waited..asked again...we waited..asked again..finally we received our basket of bread. Again...the servers were rushing around...but it was not that busy. We ordered and received our meals...nice presentation...flavors good..my halibut..the special that nite..was cold upon arrival to the table. I was not comfortable to wave the server down to request a hot meal...he was BUSY. After dinner we ordered coffee. My friend asked for a refill...the assistant took her cup..not the saucer..and returned with her same cup...very unprofessional!! I then asked for a refill and questioned the waiter if taking my cup away was normal...he said sometimes...or if he could bring a carafe of coffee to refill..I did not want my cup taken to the kitchen. He did bring a carafe of VERY WEAK coffee..you could see right through it!!
Yesssss. I know I could’ve spoken up and complained...but did not want to make a scene with friends.
For what we expected to be an upper end ($150 for 2) restaurant experience...it was absolutely a disappointment!!
This is our favorite lunch and dinner place. We love that fact that they offer half orders for light eaters.
Service and food are always great, so are drinks.
Chose this for a vacation dinner and it was everything I remembered. We had lovely seating outdoors, even in wind, great food, fantastic service and good value.
2 for dinner. Seated promptly. Love being able to order 1/2 a main course..delicious green salad w/ cheese and cranberries, good NE clam chowder- great sugar crusted Salmon and tasty swordfish. New take on pineapple upside down cake- rich but not traditional.- more coconut flavor. Professional waitstaff and proprietor make for an enjoyable dining experience. our favorite this season.
This restaurant is in a trendy and convenient location. They have a wide variety of menu choices that are very good. The ambiance is nice and their special martinis are fun and festive.
We went for our 20th anniversary and we were not disappointed. The staff was attentive and the food was amazing. I had the seafood stew which was a large portion of lobster, salmon, cod, shrimp, etc., over jasmine rice. It was so large that I ate it the next day for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed it. My husband had the double grilled lobster and lets just say, he wanted more after he had finished. Not because of the portion, but because it was perfectly cooked and very tasty.
Great spot for cocktails and delicious food... we sat outside, and it was just lovely. Oysters were fantastic, loved the crab cakes and had a great bottle of bubbly. Always love coming here!
Wonderful experience. Great food. Small plates / small entrees the way to go. Half price bottle of wine terrific value. Dessert recognition for our anniversary icing on the cake. Best seafood in Coachella Valley
Requested a nice table on the patio and they stuck us right behind a pillar and told us the better tables were reserved.
Whilst we were there nobody occupied the tables we requested!!.
We have eaten here many times before. Again, this time we took visiting relatives from out of state and they loved it. I had the seared sea scallops and they were amazing. Thanks!
We had a wonderful time! Thank you so much for the fabulous food; great service; and half price wine night! What a nice surprise! I highly recommend the restaurant!
The food was extraordinary. I had Ahi Tuna - delicious. A friend had the Catfish - delicious. Another friend had the special - wonderful. The service was good. Friendly, attentive without being obtrusive. The meal was a good value. On the expensive side, but worth it.
Great Patio Dining. Lovely evening to sit outside and enjoy our meal. Good food at moderate prices.
First time for my husband and me. There were enough interesting choices to guarantee we will go back to try the options we didn’t go for at this visit. Service was very attentive. We didn’t wait excessively for drinks, ordering or food delivery. Desserts were also scrumptious. We shared the apple strudel and the pear bread pudding. Probably should have only chosen 1 dessert as the serving size for both was extremely generous.
Good food! We like to support local restaurants. Pacifica is comfortable, service is top notch and all is good.
We received an invitation for Happy Hour Menu all night long. When I made the reservation, I said I was responding to the invitation for the Happy Hour Menue & I also, requested to be seated outdoors. When we arrived and were seated outdoors, we asked for the Happy Hour menu. We were then told it is only served in the bar. That little bit of information was omitted from the original invitation that I received. Since there was no room at the bar, and we were were already seated, we decided to order the "smaller" portions from the regular menu. Shocked is not the adjective that fully describes our response when served the "smaller" portions. They all cost $20+ and they were NO MORE THAN 2 BITES. We are still in shock that a restaurant could serve these portions with a straight face. It is unfortunate as I have always entertained friends for special occasions at Pacifica. I also have hosted a private party there! Sadly, never again!
Overal good balcony view, tasty food, friendly staff.
Always a wonderful evening ..
Food is always excellent, service was a little slow but understandable as it was crowded. Over $90.00 for two people seems a little high.
service and food excellent as usual. We always feel like we are special customers whenever we visit and dine at Pacifica!
The food and service were wonderful. No issues with anything. Very relaxed and comfortable
Enjoy food and staff
We made sure to stop by our favorite restaurant in palm springs and we were not disappointed. We were sat very quickly, the service was quick and the food was delicious. I recommend the mussels because they really are bang for your buck and totally delicious. The wedge salad was dressed perfectly. I ordered the filet and my girlfriend the new York strip. They were both cooked perfectly.
Great meal, great experience!
We ate at Pacifica a few weeks ago and it was terrific. At that time, I would have highly recommended it. But this time, the service was not so good. Our waiter was a bit too over confident in himself. I ordered sparkling water from the man who delivered our water and it never came. I asked the waiter about it and he said well you have to order it from me, I’m the important one! Then he brought my husband the wrong glass of wine and he didn’t notice it until I tasted it. When we told the waiter, he said well it must have been good, you drank it. The Chilean sea bass was good but the rice was soggy and I got one tiny bok choy with it. I love your small portions but I really expected more veggies.
Good as usual.
We had the Wedge salad. It was OK, could have been colder and more than 2 cherry tomatoes would have been nice. The catfish was delicious, as usual. The Grgich Hills Fume Blanc was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed every last drop. A very pleasant lunch! Thank you Pacifica.
Overall we had a great dinner. We had the sea bass and one of their evening specials monk fish; both were excellent. Our table was on the patio so we had a nice view of the surrounding mountains. Good wine list with plenty of price points to choose from. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area.
Great food, outstanding service.
Great spot for dinner. Outstanding dinner and the service was excellent.
Great service! Awesome food!
Great meal. Oysters were perfect starter. Seafood stew was fantastic.
My husband and I shared the crab cake which is blue crab. It was excellent. Our main meal was the Chilean sea bas with sticky rice and bok choy. It was absolutely fabulous. The sauce was wonderful. Best Chilean sea bass we have ever had. Gave this only 4 stars because we sat in the inside patio because of high winds. It was very warm and extremely loud. Took a long time to get our drinks. The server worked hard but she had large tables as well. This by no means would ever prevent us from coming back. Happy hour is also excellent. I highly recommend Pacifica.
we had reservation and was seated on time, had a wonderful attentive knowledgeable server named Leilani, who went out of her way to make the night special since she was aware it was for our anniversary. the food was awesome, she even made us a special dessert for the anniversary, we had mentioned we had theater tickets and she made sure we got out on time which we appreciated. highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back very soon for our next date nite!
Great food and the service was excellent. We went there for our anniversary and the only bummer was that they gave us what we felt was a very poor table in spite of the fact that the place was mostly empty when we arrived. Our table was in a hot and stuffy location and we felt they could have given us a better table since it was a special occasion. But we still enjoyed the evening.
