Perched atop the Del Mar Plaza in the heart of the Village, Pacifica Del Mar has remained a local gem for years as one of the neighborhood’s most sought-after places to dine, wine and gather with friends and family. Their menu showcases casual and inspired fare - like fresh seafood, steak and pasta - complimented by an award-winning wine list and creative cocktails.

Whether you choose to dine on their cozy ocean view patio, or join them in our vibrant dining room or bar, their warm service and great food and drink will provide a memorable dining experience.

Please note that in an effort to give our staff enough time to turn over and sanitize tables between diners, reservations will be limited to an hour and a half for parties of 4 or less, and 2 hours for parties 5+.                                                                       Pacifica is one of our family's favorite lunch spots in Del Mar ~ ocean views, varied menu (both brunch & lunch options), friendly & attentive service, delicious food! And, usually not too loud for conversation. Definitely go!

                                                                      We had a wonderful meal and dining experience at Pacifica Del .Mar. The swordfish "catch of the day" was one of the freshest and the best seafood dishes I've ever experienced. The wait staff was attentive without being overly doting on our table. We recommend this restaurant.

                                                                      The meal at the restaurant was amazing—very tasty, with fresh and unexpected flavors that truly surprised us. The new chef made incredible changes to the menu, and it really showed in every dish. We enjoyed several cocktails; my favorite was the French Kiss. For appetizers, we had oysters and tuna crudo. For the main courses, my husband ordered a unique meat steak with an unbelievably delicious sauce we had never tried before. I had seared tuna, served with a crunchy brick of rice and an outstanding shiitake sauce. The beautiful atmosphere of the restaurant, the stunning sunset, and the excellent service made our evening unforgettable. We even ordered a steak main dish to-go for our son, who thoroughly enjoyed it once we got home. Thank you very much to Chef Chris Idso and the entire team who served us on the evening of 04/26. It was a wonderful experience!

                                                                      The food quality seems inconsistent, we were at the restaurant 2 week ago and the food was exceptional that is why we came back, but today the calamari seem to be soggy looks like it has been make for a while and the salmon is very salty and over cooked.
