Lovely experience…good foot, great service. Would go back again
Ambiance is nice. Menu / specials are too big. Most items are pretty heavy and heavily sauced.
We save PSP for special occasions, and this visit was a birthday. Service was excellent from the outset. We were seated quickly and almost immediately had water delivered to our table. Our table was around the perimeter of the room, and that was important because the ambient sound level was quite high but the location helped us to be able to have a conversation without shouting at each other. Our starters arrived very soon after placing the order. The shrimp cocktail was delicious! A split wedge was perfect for us, and the steak medallions were literally butter-knife tender. The scallops and lobster ravioli special was indeed special. The scallops were seared to perfection, and the ravioli were absolutely stunning, as was the light chardonnay cream sauce on them. Overall an outstanding dinner. Service by Chase was excellent throughout, attentive, but not overbearing. Perfect!
Seth did an incredible job of taking care of us. He is clearly passionate about his profession. The GM made a point of checking in.
The cocktails were perfectly crafted. The steak was delicious. Recommend the mushrooms to go with.
Will definitely return and recommend to friends.
Pacific Standard Prime is my new “Go To” when I have friends, family or colleagues in town and I want to impress.
The Food is cooked and presented to perfection and the service is always top notch.
Maybe it was because we had a terrible table, but I doubt we will go back.
The server was pleasant.
The restaurant is LOUD.
We had a party of 4. Two ordered the filet steaks which had no flavor. One ordered with the chimichurri sauce but it never arrived.
One ordered the NY which was just okay - nothing extraordinary.
However, it was the fish course that was disastrous.
It was requested that the Halibu not be served with an aoili sauce or the popcorn capers, but the chef decided to load the plate with a strange array of cooked olives, tomatoes and tiny squash which totally overwhelmed the fish.
We politely explained to the server why it could not be eaten and the maitre d” kindly offered to take it off our bill, but not before making a remark about it being a personal preference! Whose? The customer or the chef who changed it?
At these prices, there are far better steak houses in the south bay.
Service is Top Notch and they have like 80 whiskeys/bourbons
Wonderful and so yummy.
My friend and I decided to celebrate the end of a busy week, so we made reservations here for 5:30 pm. Neither of us had been here before. Everything was great, from the first set of cocktails, to the appetizers, the salad, the main course (I had salmon, she had the filet), the dessert and finishing up with coffee. The server was extra attentive and used dishes were whisked away unobtrusively. The owner even stopped by the table to chat with us and I shared my perspectives on the great looking staff working there! We would definitely return to this restaurant, as there were too many menu items we couldn't decide on -- therefore, it's best for us to return and try them all! A perfect dining experience.
Farm to table. Creamed spinach was freshly cooked spinach in an cream sauce, delicious! Cola was organic. Casual, neighborhood atmosphere. Very well stocked bar. Fine dining in a casual place.
Servers were very personable. Owner came by to chat. Great meal!
They put us at a nice quiet table in the back, which was wonderful because they were pretty full and the service and the server And the food was excellent. We will definitely go back again
This was a surprisingly good restaurant. Our server was superb--attentive and friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The food, while certainly expensive, was tasty and well-prepared. If I had a complaint, it would be about the ambiance which wasn't up to snuff given the price point--it kind of reminded us of an "after" design from Restaurant Impossible, so it was clean and pleasant but quite unremarkable.
As others have said, the wine list is really varied and interesting, and the whiskey list quite impressive. We're looking forward to going back!
CJ is a wonderful server. The food was great.
Delicious, but a bit salty. Presentation needs some work. Great service, ambience, and overall yummy, but a bit expensive.
Wonderful new place in the South Bay which really needed a good steakhouse. Our new go to place!!!
The hostess who greeted us was very welcoming, and it was wonderful meeting Kevin Leach the owner who checked on us multiple times. It was a bit difficult to get our waitresses attention, and we seemed to be asking other staff members for help which was a bit annoying. The appetizers were amazing, definitely recommend the calamari and crumpets! My boyfriend got the Wagyu roll and a side of fries 7/10. I ordered the chicken with a side of mashed potatoes 6/10. The chicken dish was overall dry. The birthday dessert on the other hand was delicious. Overall, it was a decent dining experience.
Service was excellent and food was delicious. The large list of whiskey options is nice for those who like whiskey of all
Kinds. This was our second time at the restaurant and we will be going back.
An upscale creative steakhouse in the South Bay. We've been there before and will be there again. Wonderful food and service. Excellent beef.
Great food, great service, friendly and attentive ownership and management. PSP is a great addition to the restaurant landscape in this area.
Excellent food and service was outstanding. The exterior misleads you to how nice the resturant is inside. Can’t wait to go back!
Chef and staff are outstanding. We appreciate their compliance with the health restrictions in making the dining experience as close to normal as possible.
Great service steaks were cooked d perfectly. Management were prompt and courteous . served our every request !
Our first visit to PSP and it was great! Our server was excellent and the food was spectacular. My husband and I had the salmon which was cooked perfectly! Our friends had 2 of the specials which they said were excellent. Also, the crispy lumpia appi was fabulous! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!
The steaks are a bit pricey, but the quality of the food and service is excellent. Atmosphere is much nicer inside than it looks like on the website. HUGE whiskey menu -- they must have 250 different whiskeys available.
There were four of us and both couples split a salad and we shared 3 sides, which was perfect. If you bring your own wine, corkage is $35 btw.
Food and service were excellent!
Joanna, thank you for coming in!
Delicious meal and great service; will definitely be returning to this gem on PCH.
Doug, thank you for dining with us! Look forward to seeing you again!
If you like exceptional beef prepared properly than the Robbins Island Wagyu and the mushrooms
Great steakhouse for any occasion. The cocktail menu was well thought out. Tremendous wine selection. And amazing sides.
David, thank you for coming in! Thrilled to hear your comments. Appreciate the shout out for the wine selection.
The steaks were great and service was excellent. The tables for two are too close together. We could clearly hear the conversation of the couple next to us (not trying to!), and it was distracting. We’re going back and it’s only been a week, but we’ll be more selective about where we sit.
Patrick, thanks for coming in! Our apologies about the sound. We are exploring sound absorbing options. In the meantime, seating on weeknights tends to feel more quiet and private than on weekends. Thrilled to hear you enjoyed the steaks and service. Thanks again!
Excellent service and food. Our server Seth was outstanding! So nice to have a proper steakhouse in Redondo Beach.
Thanks for coming in! Appreciate the shout out for Seth; we agree he is outstanding. Hope to see you again soon!
Great food, service and place. We will be back!
Daniel, thank you for coming in. Look forward to seeing you again!
Steaks were good, fish was overcooked. Service was very good.
Mark, thank you for dining with us!
We enjoyed our dinner at PSP with my parents from NY. All was amazing and my parents thought it was the best restaurant they have been to while visiting us.
Pamela, thanks for coming in! How wonderful you and your parents were able to enjoy the experience together while they were in town. Appreciate your feedback!
Great food and service. Really enjoyed the chef’s specials which substantially broadened the traditional steakhouse menu fare. Service was excellent and an extensive cocktail and wine list to enjoy.
Susan, thank you for dining with us! Great to hear about your experience!
Everything about this restaurant was 100% service oriented. Our waitress was amazing very attentive and friendly, our food was perfect very delicious. The chef created exciting menu to easily please many different tastes. The drink menu was especially good, cocktails were delicious and nonalcoholic drinks also very creative. My husbands coconut water lemonade was really good as well as my Tom Collins. We were considering the tomahawk steak but our waitress suggestion of the porterhouse was perfect. All in all a very good night!
Thank you for coming into Pacific Standard Prime! Thrilled to hear about your experience, from service to drinks to food. Feedback like yours is what makes our team happy to come to work each day. Thanks again!
We were blown away from start to finish.
