   Is was a good experience except for the fact that they no longer deal with open table. They did not have my reservation listed. When i booked it they were still a member. I guess they no longer are.

   Not a very good meal at Pace's Dockside. First, they told me that I didn't have a reservation even though I showed them open table, they claim they're no longer affiliated. I have to rebook the reservation for a different time. When we got there they took us to the back room which is very dark even though they were many open tables in the front room. When I asked the hostess why she said she didn't know she was told to alternate front room back room. I asked if we could wait for the front room and how long would the wait be and she very rudely responded no one's ever asked me that question before. They moved us to the front and sat us right in front of the front door, literally the worst table there, when they were at least a half a dozen other open tables. The food was decent, the drinks were decent, expensive for this part of Long Island. We had an extremely long wait between appetizers and the mains, no one ever came to check on us a refill on the bread or water. Because the waiters just take the order in the runners bring it out no one checked our orders. Between appetizers and mains we had three separate food mistakes. Sweet potato mash instead of regular mash, Raw clams instead of clams casino, regular wings instead of the duck wings and my wife's vegetables were forgotten then came out after we told the waiter at the end of the meal. You would think they would offer a glass of wine or take something off the bill or at least apologize, but no.

   Food was great and I was impressed with the crab cake because it was not greasy like a lot of crab cakes i've had. The waitress was very nice,drinks were good. I would go back. Only thing was it was very loud in the dining room and it wasn't even busy.

   All was good, but disappointed with beet salad. The beets were canned! That was wrong! Never serve beets from a can! And pay as if they were fresh!

   The food was disgusting - really not edible. We waited 40 mins for a pizza and two sandwiches which tasted like they were frozen and warmed in a microwave. DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT

   Went out with a group of women as a mom's night out. Great view of the inlet and sunset. The live music was good. The bar waa lively and a great place to stay after dinner for some drinks. The specialty cocktail menu was worth the money. The food selection was extensive and maybe a bit overwhelming. The service was good. Dessert was the only disappointment as two of the choices were not very tasty. Overall a great place to dine.

   had a wonderful few days on our boat at strongs marina which is on the same grounds of Paces. Great asset to have such a great bar and restaurant at a marina. We will be back

    We had a lovely table on the patio. The food was delish !! I was so pleased !!! The wine was lovely and or waiter, if he did not know something, he went and found out. I so recommend this lovely restaurant
