   I've dined here several times before with a positive experience however, on this day it was not the case with the exception of the ATTENTIVE SERVICE BY ALLI. The Cavatini pasta with vegetables, a very simple dish to prepare was OVERCOOKED and COLD once served which was served together with the soup instead of after. I made the observation and they intended to correct the situation but unfortunately, the same dish was returned in under 10 minutes now hot but more overcooked because they simply reheated the same plate. A place like Oxbow should look at their kitchen practices a little closer. Upon my second return of the same dish the manager came to the table and offered to yet make it a third time which I refused. A credit was made to my bill but no effort was made to ensure I return. The lighting was extremely high, no romance in the ambience. I asked if the lighting could be dimmed some and they said it was not possible. The Gambas al Ajillo where good but not good to return.

   We heard after standing in the rain trying to electronically pay for parking in the adjacent lot, that we could have free parking! That information needs to be posted at the entrance of the adjacent lot. Our waitress was excellent, the view even in the rain was great, and the food was good. My husband especially liked the baby back spareribs! The key lime pie was very good.

   We were very excited to be here for the first time, and they had our table ready for us outside as requested when we arrived. I was very excited to see a great mocktail list. My jellyfish stinger was delicious! I ordered the farmers salad with salmon. The salad was good, but the salmon still had the skin on. It was a little crispy but not all the way through, and the salmon was very fatty yet overcooked. I did not like the salmon at all. Maybe it's just me. My husband had the shrimp etouffee which was loaded with fresh shrimp. He loved it but I felt the flavor was more Mexican than creole. Again, maybe it was just me. His Caesar salad was great. We will definitely go back, as I'm hoping I just didn't care for what I preferred, and hopefully I will like it better next time.

   We ate outside and enjoyed the beautiful view. The pork belly appetizer was delicious. I had tuna poke for dinner and it was very fresh with very good flavors. My husband had the seafood etoufee and loved it as well. Our server was fantastic. We were impressed by our first visit and will be sure to go back.

   I RARELY post a review unless the experience was fabulous or awful. Awful was the case here. It started when we arrived and gave our name for an 8 pm reservation. We were told our table was "being cleaned off". After waiting about 10 minutes and seeing 2 other parties seated who came after us, I went back to the desk. They asked for my name again and clearly did not remember seeing us the first time. We then waited 5 minutes before a server even approached. Drinks (2 cocktails) were fair at best. My NA beer came in a can and no glass was brought to pour it into. The smoked fish dip and salmon with crispy skin were good but not great. The fish and chips and the tuna tartar were fair. The desserts were really poor - tasteless really. For $268 for 4 of us, it was not a good value because of the fair service, OK to poor food and rude reception. We would not go back. Beautiful view though.

   made an 11am reservation for Easter Sunday assuming there would be a brunch menu. We have enjoyed brunch there before. We were surprised to learn that there is no longer a brunch menu. We were OK with that. However - the food was ho hum. The cream of asparagus soup was supposed to be served with foccicia croutons and nasturtium flowers. No garnish showed up at all except for a cellophane wrapped package of crackers. Tuna Poke was served over rice that was for sure cooked the day before. Tasteless offering that could have been much better. We have been here many times before and always enjoyed our meal - this one was ho hum at best

    I put in my reservation that it was our anniversary. No one acknowledged that. We had a good meal. We told our server it was our anniversary and she took our picture. We ordered dessert and paid for it. First time for that for an anniversary. It felt like any other day which was very disappointing. We did see a beautiful sunset.
