   Beautiful location, great views. Menu very limited. We ended up having appetizers and drinks only and went somewhere else for dinner. That being said the appetizers were excellent. Great quality and taste and the service was superb.

   The atmosphere is beautiful , the service was excellent and we loved the drinks and the food. All in all a perfect evening. Be sure and specify outdoors if you prefer to dine outside.

   Ate there on Monday evening, 3/27/23, had a reservation for my birthday. The food was excellent. The service was timely and friendly. Inside seating but had a beautiful view of the river and sunset.

   We’ve been wanting to go to Oxbow and finally made it! And it was worth waiting for. It was a special birthday celebration.. everything was perfect-the food was outstanding and the staff were all friendly and gave us great service. And you can’t beat sitting outside right on the river and watching the sunset on a beautiful evening. Very special! Highly recommend!

   We sat in the deck which overlooks the water, but the table was tilted because of the slope being tilted for water runoff… seems like there could be an easy fix to level the tables and chairs. Our plates kept sliding toward the edge. Food was good. Husband had poke and I had the bay salad. Nice live music inside but we couldn’t hear it outside. Cute gift shop.

   We both had the Salmon which was the catch of the day. It was excellent!! We were celebrating our anniversary and sat outside. Server was Lucy. She was prompt and attentive. Took great pictures of us!!! We are new to Fort Myers and we will be back for sure.

    Located right on the Caloosahatchie River in Fort Myers’ Yacht Basin, the casual yet contemporary atmosphere is pleasant. There is balcony dining but be sure to request it specifically when making your reservation. The menu offers mostly fish and seafood appetizers, sandwiches and entrees with a sprinkling of pork, chicken and beef selections. We dined on St. Patrick’s Day so the Butchers’ Cut choice was Lamb Shank served over garlic mashed potato and roasted baby carrots. The lamb was excellent. My husband had the grilled Swordfish served over grits with a hock and leek bisque topping. We ordered a couple of off menu standard drinks which seemed to take a while to be served. Our meal was served reasonably quickly in contrast. The prices were on par with other moderate restaurants.

    We loved our meal here! The food was delicious and our server was very prompt and friendly. The only issue we had was that it was extremely loud. We could not even hear each other right across the table. I guess maybe because it was St Patrick's Day? Anyway, the view is lovely and the place is definitely worth coming back again

    We came in for St. Patrick’s day and had a party of 11, the restaurant was VERY accommodating to seat us together (at separate tables) because we reserved under 3 separate reservations. Their food is always outstanding! I was a bit disappointed that the night we dined there was not one steak available on the menu. I realize they change it up, but please give us carnivores 1 choice 😁 I had their shrimp roll in lieu of a steak and it was unbelievably good!

    The food and ambiance was great. Our server never smiled. She acted like she was annoyed because we went there for dinner. We had a 8:15pm dinner reservation. We saw her two or three times. We spent $200 and still have her $40 tip. No thank you, have a nice night, or come again!

    Of course a restaurant cannot control large groups of very loud people. They had a talented guitarist but instead of listening, everyone was trying to talk over him. And of course the acoustics of the building - well no soft surfaces so the sound just resonated. The service people did a very good job, they were very busy but our wait times were normal. We had a shrimp roll, Caesar salad, BBQ chicken sandwich were very good. We probably would not return, this is for a younger crowd who can deal with the noise.

    We had a reservation through open table and got the run around about our 6 pm reservation. We got there 8 minutes early as we got emails all day reminding us that they only hold the table for 15 minutes. They claimed we would be the next to be seated. We waited at the bar and sat and sat for the bartender to ask us for our drink order. We sat for 10 minutes without a drink. The hostess found us and said we would have to eat outside after I told her we could not ad my husband has a problem with bug bites. We finally had to settle on a high top table 40 minutes after our 6 pm reservation. It was not a good experience. I doubt we will go back or recommend it to anyone.

    We were a party of 12 - we were seated right away and waited 20 minutes for anybody to acknowledge us! Finally we got water and waited another 20 minutes for drinks. We were going to a concert next door or we would have left and found someplace else to go.
