We had a great dinner, great service, attentive wait staff, food cooked perfectly, great taste. We had fish, steak, baked and garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and salads. All were great. We will be back with our friends.

Wanted to try dinner at Owyhee having only had lunch there before. We took advantage of the dine out Boise week and must say it was a delicious and plentiful meal! The ambiance was lovely and great service. Good wine selection. We shall return!

We visited Owyhee Tavern during Boise restaurant week and we were so very excited to experience their 3 course meal. Since Covid, we haven’t spent much time inside of restaurants and Owyhee Tavern made this a date to remember. Our service was excellent and thoughtful, the food was remarkable. We were to stuffed from our butternut squash soup and New York steak Oscar, smoked bone in filet mignon to enjoy our desert in house but it tasted so good even at home.

Food was okay, chowder was a bit fishy for my taste. Service was a bit slow but everyone was very nice.

We had our book club brunch meeting here and it was awesome! Bottomless mimosas were a hit, the tavern Bloody Mary’s are the BEST, the huevos rancheros dish is my absolute favorite and the service was super. We come here for every book club meeting & other dates, & it’s always a great experience. Will continue to dine here and recommend it to family and friends 💕

Ended up eating in the bar because we wanted to watch the football game. The waitress was amazing, full of great suggestions and it never took long for a drink or food to arrive at table. All was delicious!

Very good brunch, the food was delicious. We enjoyed the quiet atmosphere. We did have to go to the bar and ask for soda refills, other than that the service was good.

We met friends here for dinner and as always it was great. Service was excellent. The 3-course dinner options had something for everyone. Always a nice relaxing atmosphere.

It was an all around lovely evening.
Tables were adequately blocked for good social distancing, all the staff were masked, the service was impeccable, the food was delicious! The lobster pasta was oh, so good - it had a delicate and flavorful sauce and a lobster tail on top.
The free birthday dessert 🍨made me feel so special!
I recommend the Owyhee Tavern and my husband and I will definitely return.

Birthday brunch

Apps, salads & entrees were all very good. It appears they changed the recipe for the cinnamon roll bread pudding, as it wasn't as good as it was last time we ate there. Previously it had been best in my 50+ yr life, but this time it was good but not great.

Filet Mignon was exceptional as always and the cheesecake with fresh whipped cream was verrrrrrrry good!

The Tavern has adapted well to the pandemic. Everything is clean and all staff were wearing masks and gloves on the Thursday night I was there. Always love the charchuterie platter as a starter and we paired it with some Spanish Cava Champagne....DELICIOUS. Both of our fish entrees were cooked to perfection. We were too full for dessert. The atmosphere was rather loud but then again we were seated in the bar so that's to be expected.

Always great food. Clean restaurant. Attentive, friendly staff. Could not recommend this place more.

Was there for brunch, very tasty and the service was great. Was quiet but to be fair, was not very crowded. Will definitely go back for brunch and try dinner.

Great food with a ton of flavor! Staff was very friendly. The noise level was perfect for a date night with my wife.

Ambience and location were great. Hostess was very accommodating. Server wasn’t very knowledgeable about the type of oysters. Drinks were great, well balanced. Steak was good, not wonderful. Remaining dinner was balanced.

Excellent service from everyone beginning with the hostess all the way to the servers. The steaks were cooked to absolute perfection! Terrific meal - we will happily be back!
