   Nice, friendly place. Food was interesting, a bit limited on selections. I had the prawns. Well prepared, portion size was reasonable. Not part of the Destroy-America-By-Making-Us-Fat international conspiracy. Heavy on the IPA side of drafts, but that's a common problem around here. Main irk was the background music, which was not background. Live music I can understand, but this was not even a DJ; enough that I had to concentrate on listening. Wait staff was friendly, a bit distracted at times, but overall good. Went because I saw it on PBS, not in my normal turf. My Berkeley friend has been picking all the recent places, so thought I would try here. Would probably go back if in the area.

   Overall the experience was Average (+). The food was JUST average, nothing special. We were hoping to watch the game there after we were told they had several large screens, which they do. However the noise level, from the jukebox & kids running around, was too loud to actually hear the game. The cocktail menu is pretty limited too.

    Placed a reservation through open table for today at 12:30pm. When I arrived the restaurant was closed even though the posted hours stated open on sunday. Was looking forward to tasting the food and was disappointed that I had traveled from union city to Oakland and was unable to eat.
