Outstanding food, service
Lamb shank excellent, fish soso, octopus appetizer overpriced
As always a great meal, good service and a fun time
Excellent all around. Great food, great service. Socially distant outdoor seating. Perfect.
Cuisine was very good.
Server was good but inexperienced.
Prices fairly high but food quality was high as well.
I will recommend as well as continue to dine there.
Everything was excellent! Always love the waygu grape leaves for appetizer and we split the lobster tail special - was very good.
Great food and service. Music was too loud
Excellent food and ambiance.
Had a great experience! Staff was exceptional as was the food. Best experience in fine dining. The Royal Dorade was a very good fish ESPECIALLY with the jalapeño cream sauce with crab meat!! If you want to start dining out again go to Ouzo. What a great experience and they have two patios .
Super lunch! Our first visit to this upbeat, airy and elegant, yet not pretentious, restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating and sliding glass windows that brought the outdoors in. Our server, Pete, was engaging, knowledgeable and fun. His glass of wine choices for us were perfect. We tried the three dips with pita and couldn’t decide which one we liked best! The Wagyu dolmades with their dipping sauce dotted with pistachios were excellent. The whole bronzino was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. The traditional gyro was very good, but needed a bit more meat (our only complaint). Thank you for making my birthday celebration so special!
Everything was great!
Wonderful ambience, excellent service and outstanding food--what more can you ask?
Was very nice... polite and efficient zero and the food was great.
Amazing! Very attentive staff. They had a personalized birthday card and cake for my date.
Outstanding food, service and ambiance. The octopus appetizer is a MUST.
The restaurant was a beautiful spot to celebrate a 35th birthday with girlfriends. I scheduled two hours for lunch before a spa session. Unfortunately, the service was not great from start to finish. The drink orders were wrong, the lunch order took almost an hour and a half to arrive and was wrong. We were forced to rush through our meal in less than 20 min. The manager comped one of the dishes but overall it should have been a much better experience.
Completely disappointing. While visiting Houston we went on the recommendation of a friend. The only positive about the restaurant is that the staff is very friendly, and the main courses were good. The rest is a disaster. We constantly had to remind our waiter about drinks or other items we had ordered. My wife ordered a glass of champagne and the waiter poured champagne at the table into a huge wine glass. Then left the bottle and a bottle of wine at our table for about 10 minutes saying “I’ll be right back to take it away”. Our dinner table was basically a serving station for him. In between courses there was food spilled at the table that was just left there until I requested it be cleaned. The manager came to say hi, but completely ignored the state of the table. There are too many other mistakes to mention in this review. As for pricing, being from NYC we are used to spending well for a good meal, and good service, but for what we received, it was completely overpriced.
We first experienced Ouzo Bay when the restaurant was 6 days old. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. What happened?! This week we returned and the food was so disappointing and the service was, at best, average. It's a beautiful space in a great location, but none of that matters when your ceviche tastes like it's been drenched in mustard and your signature cocktail tastes like Triaminic cough syrup. :(
Everything was just fine except I asked for a table near the window and they did not provide it and it was available.
This is our new favorite seafood restaurant in Houston. We had the classic greek style preparation of the Bronzino and Dorado and they were both perfect. This is how fish is supposed to be prepared! And our waiter Roshi was totally awesome.
Can’t wait to get back
Always good food and good service when I go to Ouzo Bay. Never disappoints.
Ouzo Bay never disappoints ! It was a dinner after separating myself during pandemic for a while. we had fantastic wine from Santorini along with best Greek appetizers - like octopus and spanikopita.
Our order was sent to the wrong table.. the manager was really nice and apologized but my main issue was the waitress. Just had a horrible service with her, I can take an honest mistake but if she would have been on top then it could have been rectified at that time and not have a bad attitude about it afterwards.
Food wise, what we did get which was the appetizers/dessert was really yummy! Would I come back? Mehh
Maybe just to pick up the dessert.. that chocolate toffee cake was amazing!
Management and servers where very engaging and accommodating. Great service and great food. A all around fun experience.
Great place to enjoy nice weather with great patio dining. Head-to-tail Fish market dishes were amazing if you are looking for fresh wild caught fish. Ceviche and the Flaming Saganaki were awesome as were the cocktails. Only misses for us were the Norwegian Langostines which were mushy and the desserts.
the food and services are excellent! nice restaurant
Service needs to improve if they are going to last at this location.
Service was very bad and very slow. Waited so long for a waiter to even check on us. Then waited long for our drinks.
Our food was served without plates and we got plates our food has gotten cold. Overall the service was very bad !!
Unfortunately this restaurant was on our favorite list but we will not go there anymore.
Nice ambience and restaurant set up. Food was average . Our waiter was superb
The service and ambience were great! The food however was somewhat disappointing. The date and goat cheese spread was the best dish we ordered. The crab cake was meaty and not overly breaded but lacked flavor. The gyros were on par with something you might get from a food truck and were topped with an excessive amount of feta. And this is coming from someone who loves feta! Perhaps the dinner entrees are better, but I wouldn’t go back for lunch.
6 Langostines cost $85 and we are pretty sure were the source of upset stomachs for both of us. The waiter was very attentive and provided great service. I would expect better quality food for $250 plus tip.
Ambience was nice. Great food with attention to detail on presentation. Wait staff was attentive and knowledgeable.
We had a wonderful experience. The food was amazing, the space is beautiful and the service was good.
Made reservations and personally went to the restaurant and confirmed the reservation along with which table we would get. When we arrived they couldn't find the reservation and of course we couldn't get the table we wanted - and nowhere close to it.
The service was outstanding - the food is good - but way over priced.
Came out to celebrate a special occasion and date night. The ambience was beautiful and it was not too noisy. The Decour is absolutely gorgeous!
Tried restaurant week! It was delicious and added a couple of sides to the mix as well!
Service was my only concern. It was definitely not busy on the evening after I dine there. After being seated I had no idea who our server was we sat for about 10 minutes with Bread and oil. I wave somebody down to help me. He took our drink orders and dinner orders. However it was realize that our server was someone else, and she missed an order in transition. It was OK because we were full but that experience just kind of made it off putting and we didn’t get to try it all.
Overall the evening was fun and the food was delicious!
Excellent everything. Looking forward to come back.
Great staff excellent food ❤️
The servers and management were nice. However, it did take us a very long time to receive our main entree and dessert. We waited for our entrees for over 30 min as well as our dessert.
