A couple times a summer we pull up our boat up to one of the Wequassett moorings and have lunch. The launch guys are always prompt and professional, which starts things off on the right foot. It was a beautiful day and the hostess immediately showed us to our table, which was right on the ocean side overlooking the water. My wife loves the blueberry lemonade and once again it did not disappoint. We had fish tacos and a brisket sandwich, two items which we’ve have before and are consistently excellent. I’m very impressed with the service at the Wequassett, whether it is 28 Atlantic, or the outer bar it is always exceptionally good.

This is a very pricey resort style dining experience with dynamic 'ambiance.' You can't get much better than overlooking Pleasant Bay on a beautiful summer or fall day at the Outer Bar and Grill while you're sipping wine and putting away a stuffed lobster roll. The food is very good but certainly not 'over the top' good. The extra you are paying is a premium for the amazing view and the cache of being able to say you ate there if that's important to you. For us, we had our wedding reception here 35 years ago and love the place. We visit for each anniversary since.

We come to wequassett every year, service and food is always good and wonderful presentation. This year the lobster roll for $46.00 was meager at best. I always split with my husband as they used to offer two sizes. This year one size so we thought it must be plenty. It was served with simple greens and a half pickle. For that price, Cole slaw or fries should have been offered. The dining room view is lovely and wait staff attentive but be prepared to spend!

We arrived on time and were immediately seated by a very friendly hostess. All contacts with staff were extremely positive. Our table inside and view were picture perfect. My husband and I ordered calamari as an appetizer and at first we thought the chef overcooked the calamari; our server brought us a second dish and the calamari was chewy, so it was not the chef's fault. I ordered a salad with heirloom tomatoes, roasted corn, feta cheese, and cucumbers. I asked for balsamic dressing in place of the avocado. The tomatoes looked luscious, but were too ripe and not edible. My husband enjoyed his short rib sandwich, though he said it was lacking in sauce. The bill with 20% service fee (deserving) was $90. My husband also tipped our excellent server, Michael. We did not have alcoholic drinks, coffee, or dessert.

The service was excellent. Friendly, helpful waitstaff. Heads up that the oysters are Chatham oysters which apparently are very salty (salty even for me and I’m a person who loves salt). The calamari was ok. The swordfish tacos were excellent and the Wagyu burger was excellent (fries were excellent too). And the wine selection was excellent. And the watermelon freeze drink was perfectly refreshing for a sunny day by the sea. The views from this restaurants are gorgeous.

We’ve been coming to Cape Cod for 40+ years and the Wequasset Outer Bar is, hands down, the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at on Cape Cod! Our daughter and her fiancé are getting married here in 2024 and we are thrilled that the food is so delicious! The resort is first class!

We've been coming to the Wequassett Resort for years. We love all of the restaurants from their most elegant to the most casual. We've always had wonderful meals and memories. Last night it just seemed everything was a bit off. While our server was wonderful, each item we had was lacking. The salads and appetizers were all delivered off cycle from each other, as if they were just sent out whenever they were ready versus bring them together as a course. The calamari and fish items were so over-fried and overcooked that there the actual squid or fish was undetectable. The charge for one of the items was removed, so appreciate the recognition of the failures. We'll be back, I am sure, but we'll likely take a break for a bit.

While the partial views of the water and refreshing sea breezes are still lovely, the restaurant has changed. Not the more formal, elegant meals of past days. The menu has been updated to reflect perhaps more current trends but stripping the restaurant down to bare, chipped tables and chairs needing a paint job, gave it a more casual, run down look. Food is expensive and the small fries served in a small cup along with many meals illustrates even less value for your money. The $46 for a lobster roll - get it somewhere else! Service was excellent. Reservations recommended.

The hostess, Alexa, was very polite and accommodating of our party of six. The drinks, food and view was amazing. The live music was a little loud and limited our conversation around the table. I highly recommend this place for a special evening.

We had a great time and everything we ordered was delicious! Caesar salad, eggplant appetizer,clam chowder and fish tacos. We enjoyed our anniversary brownie Sunday dessert as well. Our server was great and we loved the live music too!

With my food restrictions because of allergies, I was very pleased to have our waitress work with the kitchen on making modifications for me to remain safe and to enjoy my meal. It was delicious!! The views and ocean air are wonderful too.

Awful! Our waitress was kind. Took forever to get a cocktail. Then our food which took so long to get was cold and hard. Had to send everything back. They said they could only refund our food. Not drinks. Hmm. Too bad. View is lovely. Typical resort. They automatically added 20% to our bill.
