Great food and service! We felt like VIPs because of the special attention we got.
Excellent food, we loved the Coctel Ceviche just a little more than our other dishes..but that were all amazing.
While the food was delicious, the drinks were overpriced and not that good. The margaritas were too sweet and everything was weak. The service was entirely too slow, especially with an empty restaurant.
Fabulous space and food!
Went for late brunch. Very good Mexican food with fantastic cocktails. The place is very nice, the service was good. Can only recommend.
Brunch was amazing! Loved the margaritas and food . It was a hot!
Was great. Please bring back the shrimp taco’s
Their Valentine’s special was incredible! Well priced and WONDERFUL food. The queso fundido, guacamole, skirt steak, and churros were out of this world.
The food was excellent especially the Indian type pizza.
First visit there but it won't be our last. Great service and great food.
Amazing place...and here is the surprising part: best brunch in New Orleans. Every dish is great.
Great food great prices. Sunday brunch is the best but if I lived or worked closer I would be here every week.
We had wonderful service at Otra Vez! We were celebrating someone’s birthday and received complimentary “shot sized” frozen margs and yummy desserts! The churros were amazing! Wonderful and friendly staff.
one of the worst service experiences i have. they give you 3 tostadas with their queso...and then charge you $2.50 if you ask for more. the waitress barely knew allergen information, we were over charged for multiple items. the servings are small and expensive. go somewhere else for a happy hour. food is low quality
Great food, little loud the music was.
I found the food to be original, fresh, and light - a nice change from the heavier creole fare one tends to eat in NOLA. Delicious cocktails and a lovely space. Recommended.
Great birthday dinner across the board. Really enjoyed the guac, all the tacos, and the sundae dessert. Great cocktails from the The New Orleans series on the menu. Great meal. We'll definitely be back.
Terrific service , choices , presentation and delicious .
I've eaten at Otra Vez twice before and the food was excellent, but the service was on the slow side. On this trip, a business brunch with clients before a Saints playoff game, everything was terrible. So disappointing. The restaurant called me earlier in the week to adjust my reservation time so that they could manage the influx of people and assured me that we would have plenty of time to make the game. We waited almost 30mins for drinks and an hour and 15 mins for food. The drinks were overpowered with alcohol...bloody marys are not that hard to make and shouldn't take that long either. The food, once received, tasted okay but did not match the menu descriptions so I can only assume that the kitchen failed to make them properly. On top of that, the price for what we received was not even remotely a good value. Our server was polite and generally attentive, but tough to overcome us waiting forever for food and then not getting what we ordered. I'll give them one more chance and assume this was perfect storm of one time issues on their end. However, if there is even remotely a repeat of this in the future, there are plenty of other places in the area that deserve my business more.
The space was beautiful, the food and cocktails were good, the staff was excellent but the place was almost empty. Not sure why because I enjoyed my meal here. I hope it was just a slow night.
Very good food, and a pretty setting!
Portions not what I would expect at the price point. Everything else did not compare well to similar choices when we visit our local restaurants.
Was easy brunch place with large group. Mix and match endless beverages for an hour with meal for $28.
The atmosphere and music are great! Service was good and the margaritas were delicious. The queso was tasty and very unique with what tasted like candies pumpkin seeds in it. We got the carne asada and it was seasoned beautifully, BUT it was a little overcooked (medium instead of medium rare) and the rice and beans were a little bland and on the cool side. Other than that, I had a wonderful dining experience. I’ll definitely be returning to try the tacos :)
Love the new menu. More choices, but the steak tacos are still delicious. Others enjoyed the enchiladas and chicken tacos.
Service is better and new on site manager is very friendly.
Loved the place and the drinks! Definitely recommend the guacamole and cheese dip
Not sure what happened here. Food was great the first two times. 3rd time wasn’t great. Chicken tacos were gross. The frozen margarita tastes totally different and cheap. Wasn’t good.
Either go backwards or you will find yourself getting more negative reviews. I won’t go back for dinner again.
We had a wonderful meal & staff was excellent. The restaurant is beautiful. I highly recommend this restaurant. They even have vegan options.
Very slow service, but the food was really good! It was a big football game day and I don’t think they were properly staffed. We still enjoyed ourselves.
The only thing worse than the food were the drinks. Definitely not dining here again. I was really excited to try a new Mexican influenced restaurant, but this fell flat. With the outrageous pricing and under-seasoned food, it's no wonder my friend and I were one of the 5 total people dining at Brunch time.
Cinnamon roll was over cooked. Salsa verde in the entree did not have much flavor.
Loved the ambience. A lot of food for the price for brunch. Greats Margs!
We went to Otra Vez on Saturday for brunch and really enjoyed it! The only suggestion I have is that they add decaf coffee to the beverage options. Otherwise, we loved the food and the service!
The service was great and the food was delicious. Great Friday night date spot!
Brunch deal is great value! Beautiful interior, nice music choices, lovely staff. The chicken steak torta is one of the best dishes we've ever tasted.
Even with a reservation, we waited 5+ minutes for a table for two. We were given the wrong menus. Once seated, we waited another 10+ minutes before anyone came to take a drink order. Ordered a bloody mary and a frozen margarita. Waited 10+ minutes before only the margarita arrived. Waited another 5 minutes for waiter to offer a 2nd marg in lieu of the bloody mary. Food was good. Service was struggling. Was offered comped drinks to go at end of meal.
accommodated our large group. no fuss about separate checks for business purposes. fantastic food and drinks!
always an amazing dining experience!
The space is very pleasant and the food really delicious. So happy to have restaurants like Otra Vez in New Orleans.
Outstanding!! First, the space is beautiful. The cocktails are inventive and delicious. The food, explosion of flavors that are beautifully presented. The guacamole w/crudités is the best guacamole we’ve ever had and we’ve eaten a lot of guac. The whole snapper is buttery and prepared to perfection. Hats off to Chef Guzman who is creating amazing food. She is making Chicago proud in New Orleans!
