After an initial glitch with the lovely hostess needing to return me to the reception area as our table was not ready, everything went rather smoothly. Th server, I forgot his name was very accommodating with our dietary needs/requests and all involved were very attentive. Only issue was that it seemed louder than usual and I am also amazed that the kitchen closes at 9:30 on Saturday night. Our second time and will definitely be returning.

The Crisp calamari were tasteless (you could only taste the flour), the octopus was fine but a little on the burn side. The paella (main reason we went there) was ok overall with some really disappointment ingredients (little calamari, same from first course with no flavor at all and chewy, shrimp was so hard we could not cut it with the knife, with not so good flavor). Wine, desert and service was good. We were really sad about the food quality since we have been here before and had a great experience in the past.

I took my wife here for her birthday this past weekend and we thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Our server was Liam and he was very nice and accommodating. My wife had a beautiful card made to her on the table when we arrived, there was no wait time and the seating was perfect. My wife wanted a surf and turf which wasn't on the menu, but Liam was able to speak with the chef and got her a delicious lobster tail with filet mignon. I went with the grilled spanish octopus and loved every bite of it. Liam also made sure my wife got a slice of birthday cake even though she initially said she would pass. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be coming back in the future.

Excellent service, excellent food and an overall great experience. This is our second time dining here in a couple months and I’d be happy to return anytime. The calamari and salmon tartare were great and our mains were even better. I can’t remember the last time I had a filet so well seasoned and cooked.

Maybe the best restaurant in Boston. Yes, pricey, but quality and ambiance are superb. What did we have this time? Monk fish, octopus, branzino, beautiful and original dessert with lemon custard, meringue, and so on.

The design of the dining room is really beautiful. Light with high ceilings very clean lines. Great acoustics. From the moment I entered, the hostesses could not have been nicer. Friendly and inviting. The food was absolutely amazing. Spectacular flavors, beautiful presentation, fresh and filling. My only issue was with my waiter. The support staff were fantastic, but after taking my order, I only saw my waiter once before asking for the bill. It seemed like he was overwhelmed and didn’t have time or interest in checking on how I was enjoying my meal. But everyone else was great. Friendly and helpful. You must not miss a dinner at OSTRA. It’s a wonderful experience!
