I wanted to score it higher than good. It has always had a reputation for being very good to excellent. The road to good is paved with long periods where no trace of our server could be found. Was that because she was being asked to service tables both inside and out? Was it because the kitchen was backed up and there was need to say, "your order should be up soon", though that didn't happen, it might have been a way to soften the blow of slow service. I would say the pasta was a bit over cooked and the sauce had been reduced so much that is was more like a lump of angle hair instead of an al dente portion caressed by a light tomato sauce. Oh well, the lone restroom for the restaurant was open the one time I had to use it. Though my fiance was forced to stand in the hall waiting. Really, one unisex bathroom for the whole restaurant. I guess good was pretty accurate. Here's to hoping you find your way back to very good and excellent. Cheers.

We had a wonderful experience last night at Osteria. Everything about our experience was great. The food, the drinks and the wait staff. We really enjoyed our salad and two pasta dishes that we all shared. It was a perfect night to sit outside and enjoy a wonderful meal. The wait staff was friendly, funny and attentive. Thanks to Adrienne for helping us have an awesome experience. We are already talking about going back.

The service and food at Osteria has really gone downhill. When we checked in, the hostess was talking very loud behind us. We sat outside, ordered a bottle of wine from the hostess, who never brought it for 20 minutes. I told our waiter that she had our wine order and he had to come back and told us that she forgot what we ordered. 15 more minutes and we finally got the bottle. The lettuce in the Caesar salad had brown edges. The tortellini that was supposed to have a white sauce, had a brownish sauce. In addition, the kitchen door by the outside seating was open and the cooks were talking/yelling extremely loud to each other and the waiters, which created a less than desirable ambiance. We have enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past and our experience this time was far below what it had been in the past. It seemed low class.

The food was incredible - we loved all of our dishes. Our servers were hilarious. The gnocchi was so good, we got 2 kinds. Pillowy soft!
