Such great service by hostess, service personnel, etc. Food is great but without the service to match, it would be the same.
The pasta was amazing. The appetizers were excellent. I would recommend this restaurant to a friend.
Some of the best pasta I've ever had in my life! The bread is divine and the filet can be cut with a fork because it's so tender. Treat yo self here!
In a single word, the overall experience was "exceptional."
The food was too salty, both the bread and pasta.
Foood and service is impeccable, as it 100% lived up to the prestige around it’s name
Food, drinks, service, and ambience was great. Would absolutely go back and urge everyone to try this restaurant.
Great food, amazing service! Had an amazing evening!
Everything was fantastic!
Overall, I had a good experience.
Our server was very kind, but I think servers can talk a little bit more about food and wine, and provide more references about flavors and others. That’s important, and mostly, in such a place like Mozza.
What’s definitely an urgente need is a stove hood for the kitchen bar area where chefs cook next to the people. There is a lot of smoke, and therefore it very uncomfortable to dine with the smoke in your eyes and with the smoky stench.
The food and service is top notch. Worth every penny. My favorite restaurant in LA.
Absolutely incredible meal! 10/10 in every category. And the service was outstanding as well. We sat at the mozzarella bar. Highly reccomend!!
Food was excellent but we felt our server was pushing more food on us which we not appreciate.
Lovely anniversary dinner
This is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in all of Los Angeles. The food is amazingly delicious and the ambiance is fantastic.
The food was extremely heavy handed, salty, and not very nuanced at all. After ordering a cheese selection, salad, two pastas, and a main, my partner and I still left feeling entirely unsatiated and dissatisfied. I struggle to see how this has a Michelin star.
This standout place... delicious and surprising even to this day.
Everything was fabulous. I was dining solo so they offered me a table or a seat at the bar. I chose the bar so I could watch the chefs preparing all the delicious food. My server was lovely and friendly and attentive. And it goes without saying , every dish I ordered was perfect.
The place was amazing. Amazing service, knowledgeability, outstanding food... it is most certainly a regular spot for the rest of my days!
Excellent food, excellent service and an all round excellent night.
We can always count on a consistency of the excellent food, service, and over all dining experience at Mozza!
Ambience was great we were seated in the back in what I would call their Wine Library. Service was great and attentive. Food wise we started off Shaved Brussels Sprouts with mint, almonds and Pecorino & the Burrata & Bacon
with marinated escarole & caramelized shallots. Entree's we went with the Tagliatelle with Oxtail Ragu and Pan Seared Sea Trout with Roveja peas & cabbage sottaceto. Food was spectacular, and highly recommended.
Always an amazing experience at Mozza! The best service and even better food! Such a great experience
The food is wonderful. Pastas were perfection as was the brown butter sauce that accompanied them. Mozzarella course was varied and filled with complex flavors. The duck main course was an incredible blend of flavors but with the bird remaining the star. I should add that our server John (or Jon?) suggested wine pairings that were some of the best I've ever had, even compared with professional sommeliers. All in all a fantastic experience.
The food at Osteria Mozza is outstanding. I only rated the service low because when I asked my server for an entree suggestion, he definitely tried to upsell me on my meal. I ordered an amazing appetizer; the smoked burrata and aged prosciutto. I did not know that the appetizer was A LOT of prosciutto. So when asking my server between the pasta or filet, he told me to go with the filet. Though it was delicious and beautifully cooked, the pasta would have been a more complimentary dish to the prosciutto appetizer. That’s a lot of meat for one woman to consume in a meal;I was dining solo. I was very disappointed to be steered in the wrong direction.
Wow. This is my favorite place in LA. The counter is the best spot. Everything is amazing. Eat it all.
We love this restaurant, especially eating at the mozzarella bar. Every time we fly to LA, we do our best to visit. We like to order a variety of appetizers and pastas. The restaurant is great at splitting up the portions so we can share and try multiple items.
Great waitress and menu. We had a great dinner. Ravioli in the brown butter was amazing.
Rich and flavorfuI Italian; superb waitstaff, welcoming yet sophisticated ambiance. Osteria Mozza deserves all of the buzz.
Great as always
The valet parking was jammed. The man at the kiosk was moving as fast as he could, but it was a ten minute wait or more far car. Maybe he needs help
Hands down, the best meal of our lives. Just don't be loud and obnoxious, this isn't the place for that.
So disappointing! The food was over cooked and had way way too much salt and garlic. Spent $400 on a meal that made me feel sick the rest of the night. Went there a few years ago and it was so much better then. Will not be going back
Spent our 40th wedding anniversary at this wonderful restaurant last night. Daniel was our server and he was very helpful with our selections as this was our first time at Mozza. We started with the Mozzarella tasting. The 3 kinds of mozzarella with the thick, oil drenched focaccia was a great way to begin. Nancy’s Caesar looked nice but we took it home to eat later as we knew there was a lot of food coming our way. The Raviolo with brown butter was so delicious. I had the Orata wrapped in radicchio with herbs and spices sandwiched between 2 very nice pieces of the fish. It was fantastic. My wife had the pan seared filet and we both agreed it may have been the most savory, tender and mouth watering steak we’ve ever had. The chocolate flourless cake with a glass of Barbera wine was a perfect ending. Can’t wait to go back!
Best value for Michelin 1 star
My return to Mozza after 2020 and it’s aftermath was wonderful. Truly wonderful. Love the place.
Birthday dinner. No special dessert
Came in Wednesday night for a birthday dinner. Our party of four arrived separately. The host would not seat us till everyone arrived. Would have been nice to be offered to wait at the bar, they did not. We were told to wait outside.
Once seated the table was wobbly. Really?
Mozzarella was good. Tasted like mozzarella. Pasta was good. You can get food like this in many Italian restaurants in LA, honestly. Not sure what the Michelin star was for. Per waiters suggestion, we shared the dishes. It was not a good idea. Sharing pasta is weird. It gets all mixed up while passed around. Deserts were good. They don't give you knives for desert for some reason and the tarts get all crumbly while you try to eat them with a fork.
After dinner we waited for 20 to 30 minutes to get our car from 15 dollar vallet service. The sign says if you pay 25 dollars they will get it for you faster!!??
All four of us agreed we will not be returning.
We had a wonderful time. Service and food were great.
