   I don’t give 5 stars when I review... but Osteria Mozza is a true dining experience and it’s well deserved. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, the experience was wonderful. We were a group of 5, my daughter’s 25 birthday. I messaged the restaurant through Open Table letting them know. They were very kind and responsive. Upon arrival, we ordered drinks at the bar which they gladly sent to our table as we sat. They sat my daughter at a spot where there was a hand-written birthday card. Very classy. The wine steward saw me looking at the massive wine list and kindly helped me pick out a red and white wine to my taste and my budget. Johnathan the waiter along with the entire service staff were exceptional. Attentive without hovering. We ordered: Fettunta, bruschetta with Artichoke buratta and mint, Nancy’s Caesar, buratta condimenti, kale salad, and gnoccho frito for start. All outstanding. Ms Silverton was in the house and kindly came to the table to wish my daughter happy birthday… she was very sweet and had a genuine chat… all the while she needed to solve a machine issue. Very kind. I am very appreciative she took the time. Our dinner selections were: agnolotti, 2 raviolo, duck confit, grilled yellowtail. We all shared an order of the garganelli and the orecchiette. All fantastic. We then ordered 4 desserts to share. Bombolini, 2 gelati, and biscotti with Vin Santo. When the bombolini arrived… it had a lighted candle for my very appreciative daughter’s birthday. The desserts were really great… and they gave my daughter a nice glass of Moscato Di Asti for her birthday. Very kind. Just an overall great experience that I’m still loving to think about. Thank you Ms Silverton and the Osteria Mozza team!

   Great food & service. Grilled octopus was epic! Good place for a date. Not cheap, but worth it

   We had a wonderful experience. We ordered a variety of dishes and our party of 5 enjoyed all of them. The service was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for an exceptional Italian meal.

   Everything was wonderful. I loved the personal hand-written note wishing my friend “Happy Birthday.” It was a great touch!

   Thought we had signed up for the pasta tasting menu but unfortunately looks like open table mixed that up. The hosts were very gracious to seat us when we arrived early. The menu mix up caused a bit more confusion than it should have and although we received a manager touch at the beginning no one from the management bothered to follow up with us after the meal. Overall food was good, but not exactly stellar. We had the mozzarella tasting (could have used a touch more of the very tasty bread), the Gnocchi alla Norcina (very tasty), and the Maltagliati (disappointingly very little flavor). This is a very good date spot and definitely recommend making a reservation.

   We have gone to OM many times. However, this time was not the standard we have experienced in the past. The duck ragu pasta was ok tasting but the pasta was clumped together, hard and unappealing. It was not eaten (I never imagined I would order food here and it would get thrown out). The Caesars salad was excellent (as always - one of my favorite salads anywhere), as was the pork shank. We have always had great service at OM but my one complaint is the servers all act as if everyone speaks Italian and should understand the words in Italian. This was especially irritating this night, as we brought friends who asked about what a pasta was and we were told "it's the classic style for that sauce" (of course no one knew what the classic was). We are well traveled and find this to be arrogant and disrespectful to customers. Another one of my issues with OM is how the wine list is specifically created to service only those who want to spend at least $300 on a bottle of wine. There are VERY FEW options for those not wanting to spend that kind of money on wine each and every time they go out. Sometimes we go for something expensive and other times we don't feel we want or need that. ANY Italian restaurant should be able to have good wines in most to all price ranges.

    Always exceptional! It can be a bit noisy but the food is divine. The waiters are super helpful in creating a dinner dish! Be sure to get the warm garlic bread
