    Ordered bottle of house red wine, sorry we are out. Ok, ordered 2 cucumber margaritas, sorry we are out of cucumbers. Ordered 2 skinny margaritas, same tequila was charged a $1 more. Ordered 2 entrees, waiter brought only 1, didn't hear that we ordered 2 of the same. Restaurant is not well equipped to manage crowds. Events in downtown are known well in advanced, restaurant should properly order food and beverage accordingly and have staff as needed, plenty of time to plan and prepare. Food was very good and price point is fair, but overall, restaurant is not managed well. Probably better for lunch, not dinner.

    O&K was clearly not prepared for the pre-concert crowd yesterday. The restaurant was overbooked, the staff were scrambling, and the manager looked like a deer in headlights. I felt so bad for our server. Our food was fine, but we never got our drinks. Our server said she doesn’t even think the ticket for the drink order had made it to the bar, and this was after we’d already finished our meal. I expect better from the team that also manages Potente.

    Had a reservation at the restaurant 9/27 at 5:30. The place was slammed due to the Pink concert at Minutemaid. It appeared the restaurant had overbooked, didn't have an adequate number of servers or bartenders. People were everywhere. It was chaos! We were finally seated at 5:45 at a dirty table. We ordered drinks which took 45 minutes to be delivered but the drink order was wrong. The server couldn't make the 2 bartenders understand we wanted prosecco & sparkling rose. We kept getting glasses of rose and chardonnay plus a too sweet Cosmo. Sent drinks back only to get the wrong ones again. Waiter finally gave us a towel to wipe our own table & we got water after waiting 30 minutes for it. We all ordered chicken piccata with angel hair after waving the server down. About 20 minutes later a waiter tried to deliver 2 chicken dishes which were the wrong order. About 15 minutes later our party's 4 dinners were delivered however we had no utensils to eat with & the dishes came with linguine rather than the angel hair we'd all ordered instead. We complained to the waiter & a guy who appeared to be a manager & asked for utensils. Both said they'd get us some and wandered off. The manager was useless, not a problem solver at all. We tried to serve ourselves water from the servers station as well as silverware however, there was none of either there. Eventually we received a very salty chicken piccata with a gluey white sauce that didn't belong on piccata. 10 minutes after our food delivery we finally got utensils. The dinners came with linguine which was wrong as we'd all ordered angel hair. We finally got side dishes of angel hair which was incredibly salty & inedible. The restaurant, dinner & drinks were a disaster! The only consolation was the waiter who was a nice guy but a clueless server took the food off the bill because it was inedible. We would have left & gone elsewhere but other area restaurants were booked due to the concert. Awful experience! Will never go back.

    Dinner just before a ballgame, obviously the place was packed. Nevertheless, from the hostess to the waiter to the busboys, the service was impeccable. The restaurant was at capacity but you'd never know it. The food was terrific and reasonabily priced, particularly given the proximity to the ballpark (one block). Highly recommended.

    Post game or a Pre game meal downtown. Cannot beat the food. Burgers to salads to pizza good wine list great service Fast service if you’re headed to the game chill service if you’re just chillin.

    Food was prepared well and we were happy with everything except for the dinner timing. We felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant to turn the table. Ordered Appitizers and before we finished Salads were delivered..bulking up the table. An then before we could finish our salads, dinner was delivered and that's when Appitizer plates were taken. A nice restaurant but not sure if it was servers or just the norm but didn't enjoy it as much as we should have!

    Great for a pre-Astros game meal. You won't be the only ones . . . it is packed before the game. We made a reservation and were seated immediately. Service was good and food was excellent. Even though it was crowded, the meal pace was good. We were not rushed, nor did we feel it was slow.

    Great place for causal Italian. The artichoke bruschetta it’s the best thing on the menu! Can get a bit busy after a Astros game, but that’s to be expected. Highly recommend it.

    We went Astros pre-game and it was crowded, but they sat us within a couple of minutes of our reservation. Service was geared to get us by game time and they did a great job. The food was high quality and tasty. Pizza and salads were excellent.

    Osso & Kristalla is a local's weeknight favorite through and through. Is there an Astro's game on? You can bet everyone will be sporting the home team's colors with every screen playing the game. Not into whatever's playing, don't worry, they have a quieter dining setting in a separate room. Either way, the energy will be electric and the decor well suited. And you gotta love the retro chic vibe that several Houston restaurants are going for these days. Our waiter was fantastic. Despite it being a full house, he went the extra mile to make sure we had a fantastic experience. Some of the others helping bring out drinks and food were a bit quick to pick up plates, making the experience feel a bit rushed at times. Other than that, great service overall. Our waiter made great recommendations for appetizers, pizza, and pasta. Calamari: 9/10 Crispy, great sauce and peppers, not too oily, a must get! Prosciutto and Pear Pizza: 7/10, soft crust, slightly sweet but still savory. Rigatoni and Polpette: 9/10 Amazing marinara, soft juicy meatballs, al dente pasta, a quality comfort dish. Pineapple Rum Cake: 5/10 Supposedly a local favorite, this cake didn't taste much like rum and didn't impress. It's essentially pound cake soaked in pineapple liquor syrup with candied pineapple on top. Objectively not the best, but still satisfying. All in all, a solid choice for a weeknight dinner with some great happy hour offers.

    First time at Osso & Kristalla and the food was delicious. Our server was Eddy at the bar and he was fantastic. Great drinks and great ambiance. Great place for Sunday brunch before Astros game since it’s a 2 minute walk to Minute Maid park.

    The food was very good except for the burrata and tomato salad. We loved the songs played through the speakers however, the speakers were terrible or it wasn't adjusted correctly! It was very high pitched almost "transistor-like" sound. Possibly turning the treble down and the bass up may have helped. The waiter did mention that they were aware of the bad speakers and he did offer to turn it down. The waiters were very nice but we don't think we'll be returning.

    Burger was awesome! The rigatoni & polpette was bland. And it was meatballs not ground beef sauce. I didn’t even eat more than 4 bites. I wouldn’t order it again. Next time I’ll try the salmon as that looked yummy.

    Our waiter was very pleasant and served us well. I really enjoyed the chicken picatta and the bread pudding! Everything was great except the salad dressing mixed in the chopped salad which lacked flavor. I will definitely go back!

    Visiting from out of town and we’re across the street from Osso & Kristalla. Picked up desserts the night before and they were delicious so decided to go back. For Mothers Day it was considerably fast and wasn’t hectic. Our app, meals and more desserts were all great!
