It never disappoints
Amazing experience all around. Food was unbelievably delicious particularly the crab cakes and wagyu beef. Server Andrew was excellent, personable, and attentive without being intrusive. GM Giovanni went above and beyond to make the experience special. He orchestrates a wonderfully run operation. Grazie Mille.
Had a delicious dinner with fresh and well presented seafood!!! Service is exceptional. Every employee greets you when you walk in. Andre was our waiter and he was attentive and informative. The wine wall is very cool with an angel that actually is hoisted up to retrieve wine bottles. Ambience very nice!
The food was good as was the service. It is a noisy place however.

We used to come to this restaurant all the time to get their seafood tower and it was always amazing however, this time it was awful! Everything had a muddy taste, the mussels were chewy & tasted bad, and the scallops (which are my favorite!) were not the large ones they used to serve-they were brownish & uncleaned & tasted awful!! Our waiter was very apologetic & comped us the platter, but I really just wanted a good seafood platter!! Such a shame!!

EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD HAPPY HOUR. TRY THE OCTOPUS! DRINKS AND APP'S WERE VERY GOOD.
Overall, a very nice meal. Very authentic atmosphere and very good food. My only complaint is the linguine seafood special was way more expensive than regular entrees with no warning.
Good food and service A little too noisy for a business dinner
Our group chose this restaurant for the "wine angel" fame. Not only we didn't see any wine angels, the place was so noisy that we had to scream to hear each other. The food was very late and horrible. The steaks feom our table were sent back 3 times and came back cold and overcooked. On top of that everything was overly priced. I have to say that the service was outstanding. Everyone was polite and supernice. No one from our group of 50 will ever go there again.
Be careful with this restaurant. They sell you more food than you can eat and if you say you didn’t order it, you still get charged for it. Over priced and service is rude. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT

Unfortunately, I will never go back to this restaurant. The quality of food was extremely poor. All the dishes were bland, it was very disappointing. Plus the cost of food was high so that made the experience even worse. I’m ok with spending money on tasty quality items, but when they aren’t it makes for a bad experience.

Very disappointing! Other than the dessert, the food was good. The tiramisu tasted like if had been frozen and thawed. Biggest disappointment was the service. Our server changed in the middle of the meal, and not for the better. When I tried to order wine, the server would not take the order until I gave him the bin number, which neither of us could read. Entrees were brought to the table prior to the salad. Plus, for Valentine's Day, it felt like they crammed in extra table so it was extremely difficult to move around the restaurant. The noise was so loud we could not carry on a conversation. The list goes on. I doubt that I will go back and know that I will not recommend to anyone. Extremely disappointing to say the least.
Loved the lobster ravioli.
We had theater tickets and wanted a quick meal nearby. This place is gorgeous inside, has a good wine selection and fabulous lobster bisque. Will be back.

Great food! I was there many years ago and still remembered how good the food was and took my son and his wife and they are foodies and they just loved it too! I was worried because they’re pretty picky but I shouldn’t of been every single dish they were just raving over. The Waitress was super cute and friendly and fun but not overbearing and only there when was appropriate. She was perfect.

Came here for the first time knowing the price would be high. Service was good, but not worth the price. Food was good, but not worth the price. Ambience was great, music was great. Staff seemed too young and not knowledgeable enough to be working a restaurant that is classified as “fine dining”. I ordered the filet mignon medium rare, it came out very rare (ate it anyway). And for $50 for the filet, you would think it would at least come with a side- it did not. Just the piece of steak. I would accept the price of everything else had been amazing. Also ordered the cocktail “crushed twice”. It wasn’t very good, it was small, and there was so much pulp I could t drink it through my straw. One really cool thing was seeing the “wine angel” hang from above and grab wine from the one column that goes up two floors. The music was good and the staff was friendly. Overall, I had a good experience but probably would t go back since the prices don’t match up with everything else, overall.
Excellent experience! Went for restaurant week, it was also my birthday, and everything was exceptional. Had a drink at the bar while waiting to be seated- the bar was crowded but we squeezed in and were served quickly. My friend and I shared lobster ravioli and steak and it was delicious. Our server (wish I could remember his name to give him credit) was amazing, he gave us complimentary champagne and an extra dessert as birthday treat. Everything from start to finish was incredible, we will definitely be back!
Saw it on the list for SD Restaurant Week and we decided to give it a go. Right off the get go, great vibe and very attentive staff. We totally skipped the restaurant week menu and drove in. Started off with a pair of salads that were great. Steaks were fantastic as well as the sides. Martinis were spot on too. We’ll definitely be back.
Our group of four went for a per-opera dinner. It happened to be Restaurant Week in San Diego and they had a Prix fixe dinner for forty Dollars with a good selection in each of the three categories (starter, entree, and desert). Three of our group selected from that menu and I started with a Tomato Bisque and finished with Osso Buco. To merely say the food was excellent and full of wonderful flavors, would be to understate it. It was truly one of the best meals that I have and our group had enjoyed in many a year.
We found the service was to be exceptional with the waiter being most attentive and ready to fulfill our every need. They have an extensive wine list with selections covering the full range from relatively inexpensive to some very fine wines.
One negative was the very high noise level, making it virtually impossible to hold a conversation at the table. They play background music at a relatively high level forcing those in the restaurant to speak loudly. We noted that when the music momentarily ceased, the conversation level dropped by virtually 20 dB.
Gorgeous place! We had the hamachi shots, grilled octopus and sea bass and everything was delicious. The bread they served was unbelievable and the service was impeccable. Great spot.
Didn't expect to pay $140 for restaurant week. The food was good but not outstanding. Accidentally ordered two bottle of water from the server.

The food was top notch and the service team was attentive. We went to experience the Restraunt Week special and were not disappointed. The lobster ravioli was divine. Will definately come back for Happy Hour oysters advertised for a buck a piece.
My wife and I really enjoyed this spot for restaurant week. The portions were generous and the food was appeasing.

Wow, went here early on a Sunday night before we had to go to the theater. The initial service was a bit slow, but it picked up very well. We had a mixture of the theater menu and a la carte. We were seated upstairs which is more quiet. They were showing the NFL semi-finals down stairs! We got our meals on time, the food was fantastic and the wine selection to go with the meals was great.
Definitely coming back again soon
The bread and butter hugely lacked any kind of taste. Only offering 2 options for wine by the glass is ridiculous and insanely overpriced. And it's not like I'm being cheap because we bought the Waygu steaks. While those were amazing, won't be back because those alone aren't worth a return.
Food quality was mediocre and was overpriced. Seafood was marginal and not fresh. The waiters were nice. The restaurant was fairly dirty and worn. Definitely go somewhere else if you want seafood.
Sea bass was too salty, rib eye was too fatty, yellowtail was too fishy. Everything else was amazing.

Dined here for NYE. Severely understaffed for a major holiday. We sat at the the table for 15 mins before being greeted or offered water. Our server was a bartender running back & forth instead of a waitress so service was very slow. Expected better from a steakhouse/seafood upscale spot. Food was good, as well drinks but service definitely lacks.

The service was top notch! Our waiter was incredible. The food was ok. Our waiter recommended the Wagyu steak. It was very fatty due to the marbling in the meat. In my opinion it was not worth $130 for a piece of meat. Next time I will stick with the filet.
