   Good selection of cakes, sandwiches and scones with a perfect cup of tea alongside. Portions are generous but not so big you feel unable to move after demolishing the lot!

   Fabulous afternoon tea served by super friendly waiting staff. There was so much food that my daughter who is training to be a nurse took all the delicious cakes to share with her team the next day! It was all boxed up beautifully. I would highly recommend a visit.

   We are partial to an afternoon tea and have attended many. This was a very good one and we did enjoy it very much. We had a lovely table at the back of the restaurant and our waitress was lovely. The ambience and the decor in the restaurant was excellent and the location for our theatre visit was perfect. On the whole the experience was excellent and we would return. The scones were probably the best we've had for a long time. We all agreed they were delicious. So light inside with a fine crust on the outside. Bit disappointing we had to share the jam and cream - just give everyone their own to avoid the "have you had enough?" or "pass the cream" scenarios. The sandwiches were delicious too, but we felt for the money a bit mean. Just one round each, ie four finger sandwiches. Many afternoon teas in this price range would have topped up the savoury, but this didn't happen here. No small quiches or pastries, just four finger sandwiches. The sweet cakes and pastries were clearly made on the premises and we all thought, apart from the chocolate and passion fruit that they were delicious and expertly made. None of us enjoyed the chocolate and passion fruit tart. Also, we had to ask for our tea to be topped up. The cocktails were a nice added touch, but they were very small and again, none of us like the combo of the chocolate and passionfruit cocktail. All in all though, lovely surroundings, good service and mainly delicious food with the best scones in town!

   Perfect. We were having a business lunch and the the environment was just what we were looking for. Excellent hospitallity, excellent service, excellent food. What more can I say other than we will be back. Thank you

   A charming place just right for afternoon high tea. The decor is old world chic and the tea and treats delicious- the scones were served warm! The service attentive and friendly.

   I booked for a breakfast meeting and ended up staying six hours and invited 3 guests for a lunch meeting. The team here are wonderful and the wine list is current and on trend. Great restaurant for business meetings and casual dining. Will be back for more business meetings. Great experiance.

   This is a great venue. Staff are all friendly and welcoming. Service is always good & it’s a really good environment. We were in the bar area, not the restaurant but have eaten there in the past & the food is excellent. Will be returning soon.

   I’ve been coming here for many years to meet clients for breakfast. I had my usual avocado on toast with poached eggs. It was really disappointing for £16. Two tiny bits of toast (three mouthfuls each) with a really thin layer of mashed avocado (No seasoning) and two poached eggs that tasted strongly of vinegar from the poaching and were a really light yellow colour, not the deep orange yolk you’d hope for from a Burford Brown / proper free range. It’s still a lovely venue and service is good but with so many amazing places nearby to go to for brekkie, they probably need to up their game a bit. (My clients omelette was good though!).

    Lovely place, staff is semi friendly. The afternoon tea was nice but very sweet.
