Food was good but service was awful...the table next to us was seated AFTER us and the staff kept walking by seeing we were clearly there looking at them with menus but didn't bother to ask if we'd been helped yet and proceeded to wait on the table next to us! Furthermore, when our server finally did come she just seemed like she didn't want to be there and was rude and barely said anything and when we said we were finished and didn't want dessert she gave us our check and we paid and she returned it and didnt even make eye contact or say a word and left and walked away...no thank you, no have a good night, nothing. Completely rude. Shame because food was good but will never return after that experience...get some new wait staff who don't have a stick up their you know what and maybe we'll see...

Our party of four orderered 3 different things from the menu. Two had the steak, one the cod and the other the salmon. All were outstanding and perfectly prepared.

We have loved Orzo before, not just for the food and wine but for the fact that one can dine there and carry on a conversation without shouting. The wines by the glass were mostly $12, which seems a little high for Charlottesville, but otherwise we were well pleased again with our experience.

Lunch options had great variation. My guests loved the cod sandwich and the fries that accompanied it--cod was perfectly cooked--done but not dry; fries were crisp but not too done. The chickpea soup was outstanding --great spices! Salad greens were fresh and crisp with a light but flavorful dressing.

As always, Orzo did not disappoint! Food was excellent, and the pre-dinner cocktails are sooooo delicious!! The service is friendly but always professional. It’s definitely our go-to restaurant!! We love that the owners don’t take our business for granted...they earn it every visit. Keep up the great work!
