A memorable birthday dinner with attentive service and an excellent sommelier. We had the tasting menu with the beverage pairings. We found each course carefully prepared and exquisitely balanced.
It was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at any restaurant.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and very keen in bringing out the courses and table service.
Food was absolutely amazing. Each course was planned out so well!
I would definitely come again and bring close family and friends!

I told the restaurant the dinner was for my wife’s birthday when making reservations. On the day of the dinner, I received a call to confirm the dinner at which I reminded it was for a birthday dinner again and the person said not to worry and it was already marked in their system as a birthday and that the restaurant would do something. Another table around us had a birthday dinner as well it seems because a desert was brought over. Once the dinner was over, nothing. So I reminded the server it was for a birthday and the server just stated she wasn’t aware of it and proceeded to give us our check and walked away.
Fantastic selection of food and wine pairings. Truly unique, and first rate service. A terrific place for anyone who loves interesting and diverse food choices. Wonderful!

Pounding music felt through the floor and table. It’s on top of a nightclub!!! . The sommelier was monotone and robotic in his delivery.
The food was delicious but there was not very much of it. I left hungry., I asked for bread to sop up the sauce that was served on the pasta. I was given 2 slices of bread and charged 2 dollars. Lol.

The food is incredible and I eat out a lot. I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. It was great sitting at the chefs table (bar).
For small, beautiful, and delicious plates, I highly recommend the tasting menu. Every course was artistically crafted with distinctive flavors and textures. They were also great about accommodating dietary restrictions! Recommended giving it a try. Nice spot for a light dinner.
Excellent Omakase lunch set followed by wonderful souffle pancake. Will return to try a la carte next time.

While I have dined at O&W before, the two experiences couldn’t have been more stark and opposite. The experience with the conventional menu was met with exquisite food, impeccable service and pristine presentation. It certainly left us feeling that the whole experience was worthy of a Michelin type of recognition . The Cambodian pop up menu and overall experience was at best, sloppy, the food seemed to have come from a shopping center food court, it was mediocre in flavor and it felt as though the kitchen was feeding a buffet line. The first item (crudo in coconut cream) was excellent. The rest, including the absolutely awful dessert choices were a culinary disappointment. The servers were unengaged and aloof throughout the night. Couldn’t help to think that the bartender next door at sister restaurant Amá took his job more seriously and that the simple quesadilla we had while we waited for the table far exceeded anything we had at Orsa & Winston.
The food was amazing. Service was also very good as the wait staff was attentive in refilling our drinks and bring our food in a timely manner.
Great ambiance and environment. Loved watching the staff work together so well. The bad was the value we spent nearly $500 for two of us and really didnt feel like we got the value for that much money. The wine pours were really small for the wine pairing and the plates of food were pretty small as well.
Orsa and Winston is our go-to Special Place. Service is always warm and knowledgable. Roman is the best sommelier in this galactic sector. The staff pull off excellence while being down-to-earth. Not so common these days.

The food was very good. The restaurant design was nice. Service was good. We were low maintenance so didn’t need a lot, so really the waiters just took the order and brought the food. One of the Japanese trays was served backwards as each of ours was facing different directions Will be back to try other things!

It's been a while since we have had an "OMG" experience at a restaurant, but this was definitely one. Everything in our five-course meal was prepared to perfection. The Kanpachi Crudo was fresh and delicate. The Sunchoke Soup with Chestnuts was rich and satisfying, inducing bowl licking tendencies. The Satsuki Rice Porridge with Scallops was silky and balanced. The Flank Steak was an excellent grade, perfectly seared and deliciously seasoned. Dessert was also fantastic...a Chocolate Cremoso with hazelnuts. Oh, we added a sixth course....black truffles with hand-torn pasta...amazing. We can't wait to come back and will be adding this place to our orbit.
One of the best restaurants i have eaten at in LA. I had the pork belly bowl. Everything in the bowl was incredible, from the carrots, brussel sprouts, egg and meat. Each bite was to die for.
This was our first visit; we don't live in CA but visit LA often and are familiar with many of its restaurants. O extremely small portions, even for a tasting menu (for example, less than a tsp of grits on the 4th course, a sliver of broccoli), and we realized later that the luxury elements of the porridge dish that were highlighted in the 101 review were missing (we had no uni cream or smoked trout roe.) We feel the gentleman who discussed the menu with us at the inception of our meal misrepresented that the RW menu would be the same; we weren't looking to save money, we wanted the full experience that led Mr. Addison to rate this restaurant (with the other Centeno venues) #7 in LA. Our meal at Baco the following evening was great, and we would definitely return there, but we felt duped by O&W.

Prefect execution of food, preparation, taste, presentation, and service was just incredible.
Visited for first time for DineLA. Exceeded expectations on every level and was by far best DineLA experience this Winter. Food was gorgeous and complex without being fussy. Staff were friendly and we never felt rushed. A great dining experience.
I came for dine la and was very pleased with the experience. Every bite I took was delicious, carefully prepared, and balanced. Also, everyone was so warm and welcoming.

I went there last week and found the O&W Grain Bowl Salad with Hamashi was so good and decided to repeat today. Unfortunately, it is not good as the one I had last week. See the two photos for comparison.
By the way, the waitress was very friendly. That is a Michelin one-star restaurant style.

This review and rating is just for DineLA. I felt that the food taste didn’t live up to the 1 Star standard. Wasn’t impressed...
The restaurant is simple and clean with an open kitchen. The menu price is a little high. It does not have a WiFi access. The salad is very fresh and tasty.
This place was amazing. I went with my partner for a relaxing date night and we got just that and it was our first time here. Everyone there is so nice and attentive. The food though blew my mind. The wine pairing was the best wine pairing experience I’ve had in a long time. This place was worth every penny. I definitely want to come back, the food was amazing.
The set menu itself is pretty good for the value, but overall not so amazing or necessarily a steal of a bargain. But it is interesting and pretty well executed for certain dishes. The truffle hand cut pasta was a little disappointing, not aromatic with the truffles and falls a bit flat on flavor. Wines were interesting with some great choices. Service was attentive and caring. But I’ll be honest, it wasn’t as good as I thought going into this dinner.
Delicious food, creative mix of flavors. Every bite is tasty. We had brunch: Japanese breakfast, hand pulled pasta, and persimmon salad. Soufflé pancake and tapioca pudding for dessert. Savory dishes were all excellent. Dessert was decent. If you want the flavors of a two-star+ experience in a more casual ambiance without the usual stuffiness, this place is for you.
It’s really good. Each course brings diverse favor.
We came here for our anniversary on a weeknight. The restaurant was pretty quiet that night, but the service and food was absolutely unbeatable. We’ll definitely return soon!
