Corned beef sandwich very skimpy. Very little corned beef. Disappointing.

The scotch egg is amazing! Also got the salmon and Mac and cheese, both were very good.

The service was prompt and friendly. The fish and chips were very good. We were seated in the bar area at high top table that was in poor condition. My husband thought his chair was ready to break. It was a typical bar restaurant atmosphere and noise level.

Good selection of quality, local, micro brews, and overall a good selection of beer so if you’re coming for the beer, you won’t be disappointed. On the other hand, that was the only highlight. It took 45 minutes for the server to bring out the one appetizer we ordered and as our entrees arrived only minutes later, either they were severely understaffed, forgot about the appetizer or purposely delayed serving us to increase our drinks order. (The food was cold, nothing to write home about - except for the plastic bread tie that wound up in my side salad.) More troubling was the deceptive menu. The impossible burger was listed as a side for $1.99 and our server told me it was served with lettuce, tomato and onion on a bun but never explained that the $1.99 was a substitution up charge for pub burger nor was it described as such on the menu. The shift manager gets credit for removing the charge for the salad and the burger and for agreeing to discuss making the menu clearer with her boss. So go for the drinks, but don’t expect much more.
