Celebrating over 50 years, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

Have been dinning at Ore House for 30 plus years. Make sure to get the salad bar. We unfortunately had a terrible experience including the prime rib for a special occasion. This establishment needs to make sure they provide quality beef as they represent Colorado beef. Please reflect the great restaurant you are.

The service was very good. He offered great advice on entrees, was attentive and even answered some questions about the area! We had 4 in our party; 3 ordered the blackened rainbow trout. It was delicious, great flavor and perfectly cooked. My husband ordered the elk and it was spectacular. We all said we would return to Steamboat just to eat here. They have a wonderful salad bar and their house potatoes completed an unforgettable culinary experience!

Consistently Great Food and Consistently Great Service! It is one of my favorite restaurants in Steamboat. We were seated in the back room which is a bit noisy. I prefer the patio in the summer or the room by the bar. However, it was delicious!

Service and food were outstanding. Our waiter recommended blackened salmon which was excellent! Prime Rib was good too!

We have been coming to the Ore House for over thirty years. It has consistently been all around good with western flair. We absolutely love the Ruby Red Trout but they have a great selection of steaks. Love this restaurant. Great for families.

Every time I order a baked potato it’s hard as a rock. Don’t get it there. I don’t know why they can’t bake them.

My friend and I were on the back patio. It is always pleasant out there with the beautiful flowers. Zack was our waiter. He was very attentive and brought our orders as soon as possible. Our food was delicious and we highly recommend the House Potatoes!
