Celebrating over 50 years, The Ore House continues as the area's longest dining tradition. The converted 110+ year old barn showcases Steamboat's ranching history while serving savory hand-cut Certified Angus Beef® steaks and chops, seafood, salad bar, and craft cocktails. All entrees include bread service, salad bar and (2) side choices. An attentive staff will add to your evening as you enjoy the rustic atmosphere of this local gem. Available outdoor seating (seasonal), 3 open flame fireplaces (seasonal), bar seating at either of (2) bars, Private Dining options, and the ability to host events from 15 to 115 guests allows this iconic establishment to fulfill all your dining needs. And be sure to save room for dessert!

The Buffalo ribeye was great. Wasabi ranch was a nice surprise as well.

Salad bar was a nice start to meal. We had the prime rib special which for $19.71 was an insane deal. Only offered for a short period of year however. Their house potato side dish was unique.

We have dined at the Pine Grove…the name prior to Ore House, and always had top notch experiences. This special that these owners are running this spring for the locals is the biggest draw yet. Steamboat is trying desperately to hang on to its sense of community and these owners know what they are doing. We applaud them in their culinary efforts.

Love the Ore House. Don't go often, but when we do, we really enjoy it. Food is spectacular, service is great, atmosphere is lovely, and the entire staff is wonderful! I would love to enjoy the salad bar once a week if I could.

The prime rib was phenomenal and done just right. I typically do not like salad bars, however it is so fresh and the wasabi ranch dressing is delicious. Our server Zach was fantastic, making it a really great date nite!

Had a lovely birthday dinner with 9. We probably made a lot of noise but there were other parties in the room too. Over $500 before discount…lots of drinks, the food, dessert …and they didn’t even comp 1 birthday chocolate moose with the candle….so not typical Steamboat! Oh well.

Excellent food with a wide variety of choices. You won't go away hungry, as you'll start with the salad bar, and entrees come with 2 sides. Lots of choices on the wine list too!
