   It was valentines and they were booking People through open table and when we got there they were not open. It ruined our evening, our valentines was pretty much botched completely 🥹

   My wife and I went for a “jazz dinner” with another couple. The music was excellent and the sound system was first rate. The server stated she is not normally a server and was filling in for someone who called in sick. She and another staff person who were covering the dining/music room worked hard and did their best, but the service wasn’t great. The food was decent for a music venue. Its not a place I would go just for the food, but if one is going for music and you want some food, it’s decent. The place is very stylish, but given they were having staffing issues, it was no surprise it wasn’t as clean as it should be. Overall I love that there is another Denver venue featuring jazz and R&B and such and I hope the Orchid can sort out its staffing challenges.
