Need to book at 3:15 PM?Other great restaurants with availability.
Good good goooooood
Excellent food and great service.
Warm welcome. Staff very attentive, service swift and food delicious and authentic Greek wines and dishes on the menu. Only slight disappointment, I would have liked to have the octopus from the a la carte menu but it was on the set February menu and they were keeping 12 servings for that - why?
Expensive with a below average taste
One of our favourite restaurants in Marylebone. Everything is exquisite, particularly the grilled lettuce and cauliflower dishes. The octopus is also fantastic, the salads freshen the meal up and the dips are some of the best Greek Tsatsiki and Taramasalata in London. The bill does get expensive quickly but go with lots of people so you can try everything.
Arrived but no table ready
The bill was brought even if nobody asked and despite one of my friends ordered another coffee at the very end if the meal.
Hated the frozen fruit on the pancake too: where is the value in earing frozen fruit in a +10£ pancake??
Wow, this is Greek Nouvelle cuisine at its best! Every plate we enjoyed had a “jolt” of a special flavour. Service, ambience were superb. I’ll definitely return:)
Great food and atmosphere. I took my wife of 40 years on a date and she was favourably impressed. She said she’d keep me for a while longer! We’ll be back!!!
Delicious food with great variety of different dishes, would highly recommend. Slightly too loud for a date, better to dine here with friends.
Great service, excellent food! A real buzz about the place.
Smoked salmon Royale in a must-try dish!!!
Valentine’s evening - good menu, bit overpriced, but over a great evening
Excellent food and service. Our waiters really looked after us. The food was different from what you would normally find in a Greek restaurant. Contemporary, delicious cuisine..
Opso is a great restaurant and this is the first time we were seated upstairs which is much nicer than downstairs. All of the food is really good - I would only say that some of the mains are pretty hard to share such as the lamb shank. The moussaka for example is very easy to share but other dishes like meats with bones in them are harder. Also the deserts aren't as good as the main food. Lastly, please bring back the taramasalata
The food was good but price excessive for quality. No glass of organic wine ( bottle only) and So NOISY !!
Everything went well in terms of food. If only we didn’t start with a ruinous crash of drinks behind our backs that that stained our furs... I have to thank the manager however for being immediately helpful and also offering to pay the dry cleaning.
Food tried to be modern Greek. Perfectly acceptable . But when they actually tried to cook and did not leave the food to speak for itself, they could not pull it off.
The food, service and cocktails was exceptional. I would definitely recommend and return.
We were told from the moment we sat down we’d have to return the table in two hours time. That’s fine but 1.5 hrs into our booking, while having ordered plenty (>£300 for 4 people, I’d call that a decent order) and not taken our sweet time, the waiter asks if we want dessert because we have to vacate the table by 8pm. He could have just asked - do we want dessert? We ended up ordering something within a few minutes of receiving the menu, which ends up arriving at our 2 hour mark. We also order more drinks, for which they’re happy to take the order. Doesn’t matter though, 20 min after we receive dessert and drinks we are told we have to vacate. The food is absolutely incredible, too bad for the subpar service ....
Love this place, perfect for a business lunch or for dining with friends after work. Only niggle is that when I was last there, while we knew we had our table for 2 hours, they were overly keen to remind us of it. We had our coats from the cloakroom thrust on us 5 mins before our 2 hour slot was up, and when we still had wine to finish. Not a nice ending to an otherwise fabulous meal.
It exceeded our expectations. Great restaurant and superb service!
Cena tra mamme e figlie
I would recommend OPSO, our starters were delicious, as was the lemon chicken main. However, the food is served on very small plates ! Not sure why, and it was very expensive. Nice ambiance, but very noisy & busy. Service was excellent. I would definitely go again.
Great food - bit too noisy
Delicious out of the ordinary Greek food. Be careful though as portions are generous. Don’t be tempted to order more than 2 plated per person.
Overall ok, but can be better. Portions are on the small size, considering the price. Good food, though note that this seems more like Greek fusion than original Greek. Service can also be improved - eg receiving arriving customers, sequence of serving dishes, etc
so nice area to share time with your friends！the yogurt is nice but everything are too sweet for me， its good for afternoon tea not for brunch. By the way， I recommend the egg and chips.
Great brunch. A little expensive, but quality high.
The food was DIVINE. Service was brilliant - very attentive. I have already recommended to friends and will definitely be returning.
Limited food variety, high tables very uncomfortable and overpriced.
Food at OPSO never disappoints. This is the second time we have dinner here and the quality has always been very high. However, I am somewhat concerned by the changes I have observed since the first time I had dinner at OPSO. The Trahanas (Τραχανάς) was exceptional as usual, but this time the dish no longer included the lamb shank (one of the best things on the restaurant's menu), which was listed separately at a much higher price than what it was a few months ago. Weeks ago the dish (containing both lamb and trahanas) was priced slightly over 20 pounds (I cannot recall the exact amount). Now, that same dish is priced at 36 pounds. Despite ordering the same food as last time and not getting any wine (only water), my girlfriend and I spent 102 pounds in total. On the previous occasion, we had also ordered wine and paid a total of about 75 pounds. Prices have increased massively and, frankly, are now becoming unreasonable. Otherwise, I have no complaints.
it’s a shame the menu has changed and become so overcomplicated. the service was erratic at times - the manager moved us to the bar to free up the table for the next booking. having moved us he came back asking if we wanted to move back because he actually didnt need our table
Delicious food, friendly and welcoming staff and a great atmosphere- I had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend OPSO to anyone.
The food is absolutely amazing and the service is outstanding.
The food was really delicious. One of the best greek restaurants! Highly recommended.
Great service, great team, wonderful place!
The food was delicious but everything was heavy and rich in creamy sauce. Would’ve liked lighter fare. But it was still very tasty.
Service was great, main dinner menu has lots of nice options. However, I found most of the food to be far too salty. Also, the tables are very close together so it’s probably better to go in a big group, rather than an intimate dinner for two. Desert menu was disappointing and didn’t seem to make sense with the rest of the cuisine offered - an ice cream sandwich in a modern Greek restaurant?!? If an adaptation of baklava could be added, that would be great!
Went on a Friday night to catch up with friends. Despite it being early the music was pumping out at disco level. You had to shout to make yourself heard. Food OK but very expensive as were the drinks, service average. Not value for money.
We love this place
