Great service and food-always a wonderful dining experience.
It’s a great place to go. Our server was amazing. It was my son‘s 27th birthday and we all had a great time.
Service was amazing. Food terrific.
One of my favorite brunch spots!! The service is always great and it never feels over crowded or rushed. They missed the mark on my hash this time - potatoes and everything aside from the eggs was burnt and I had to ask for new potatoes that were better but still cooked too hard.
/Very busy on Saturday night. We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation, but had to wait nearly 1/2 hour at the door before being seated. Food and service were superior and they gave us a free appetizer due to our wait. The seating surrounds a sports bar, so the noise level was pretty high throughout.
The food was some of the best Greek we've eaten in the USA. Portions were large. Lots of vegetarian choices too. The waiter warned us that separate salads were huge so its best to add a smaller salad with the entree- great advice because the side salad was also pretty big. The Greek fries are another great add on. For a drink, try the Sangria with Grand Marnier, its big enough to split with your date. All in all, great food and we will return.
OPA is our go to. Enjoy sitting at the bar for Happy Hour!
This time was with our family, very good!!
Great service, the food was delicious, different and creative. We will definitely be back and will bring friends!
Service was totally terrible. The waiter never came to our table... I couldn’t even order another glass of wine. Worst part is that we watched the waiter just sitting in the kitchen talking.
The service was very slow. Even though we had a reservation for a table of four and showed up on time, we still waited for fourth five minutes for a table. I’m disappointed in myself that i even stayed that long.
The food was good, but not 45 minutes on a reservation good. Come on a not crowded week night and you’ll be much happier.
We love the food always. Definitely very good overall. We travel from Napa to feed this yummy Greek food.
The food was terrific and so was the service. The restaurant is a little cramped, but lively.
This place is delicious. The food was on point and they did a great job with service, considering we had a group of 10 and were not the only large group of the night. Also, the location is convenient and just a short walk from BART. Would highly recommend - especially their fiery feta!
Everything was great. We had two young children and the wait time for all our meals took over
40 min. Even though we ordered right way. Dinner reservations were at 5:30
The decor is pretty basic but the food, the service, and the prices are actually very good.
The corkage fee and the wine prices are actually very convenient (beyond fair).
I personally suggest to try the lamb pita
Great food, friendly and helpful wait staff.
Have been wanting to try Opa for a while, and finally got a chance to dine for my birthday dinner. The food was delicious! The gyros and salad were fantastic. The noise level is a bit high, so made it tough to hear one another talk, but other than that...we had a fantastic eve. We will definitely be back.
Friendly wait staff. “Lively” atmosphere, fun for celebrations. Food was good and fresh, but too heavy on the garlic for my taste. I had a Mojito which was yummy! Overall a fun place for drinks and a bite!
Nice birthday celebration. Best Sangria around. Entire staff was helpful.
The noise level was too loud for conversation. Would not recommend this restaurant
I have given low scores for slow service and also my lamb chops. I ordered medium rare and got one well done, one medium and one super rare. My husbands whole fish was good but my friends Mahi Mahi was over cooked and dry. I would give them another chance though as it was NYE and the place was full.
Overpriced for what you get. Ordered seafood pita..mostly pita....3 small shrimps and one measly scallop. Side salad extra also small and nothing special. Cocktails very overpriced as well. I get the rents in WC are high so eating out prices reflect that..but still...will not go back.
Good food! And willing to adjust a couple things for us based on our distaste for a couple of combinations. My only comment would be that my husband ordered two of the same mixed drink and the second one tasted totally different than the first one. He liked them both, but it was odd that they tasted so different. The second one had a lot more ouzo (sp?) in it.
We met friends for lunch- had the kebabs, meatloaf really delicious, gyro plate, opa fries, pastisio excellent will be back.
There were two of us for a late lunch and we both really had a different take on the food. We shared three mezes (starters) - vegetarian dolmades, gyro meat place and spanikopita. I loved the dolmas and spanikopita and my lunch mate didn't like them at all as she found them both too salty. I found the gyro meat a but dry and tasteless although the tzaziki sauce was really garlicky and well-flavored (and a bit thicker than I'm used to) but my lunch mate thought the meat was the best dish as she found it very tender.
We had a great meal, wonderful service, and an all-around excellent dinner out with our family of 5. The gyros and flaming cheese were the highlights for me, my son would say the bottomless soda, my daughters would say the garlic fries. We will certainly visit again!
My favorite restaurant in Walnut Creek! Amazing atmosphere, food, drinks, and staff!
Always a great place to eat. Service, food and ambiance were excellent. We have been there several times and are never disappointed.
When you book on Opentable and the restaurant tells you they have no record of it and that they are full and they don't greet you when you walk in and its loud and your experience there was not good the first time, well, we won't be going back.
We were moved from one table to another upon arrival saying this table was meant for 7 and you only have 6. They sat us at that able all they needed to do was remove the extra chair to the other table. Our service was poor and it was distracting sitting by the door hearing the hostess turn away potential customers because the tables we reserved. As the night continued our service got worse and the table they moved our entire party from with the seventh chair never showed up.
We will not be back
Great service and delicious food.
Our service person seemed new and service was SUPER slow. We had many long periods of time where we sat without service or food.
