   The thing I didn't like was I made a reservation for 11/02. I called the to add one more person on the reservation to be told its ok I don't have to pay to add another person. They no longer take reservations. I said ok cool. But two of my guest didn't show and the still took the money from my deposit. I asked why if you no longer take reservations. They said they still had to take it. It was BS. Plus some of our food was cold but other than that it was ok.

   When arriving for reservations it seemed as if they did not want to seat us at all. There was a “white party” going on so maybe the staff was overwhelmed, in that case why allow me to make reservations? The drinks were just ok. I ordered oxtails, Mac and cheese and yams. My food came out cold, the yams were too sweet and disgusting the Mac and cheese was burnt on the top and disgusting in the middle. I asked the waitress to heat up my oxtails and I chose different sides which were Rice and gravy and pinto beans. The rice and gravy was salty but edible the beans tasted like the had been sitting in the pot for 3days. I was very disappointed in the quality of the food. Not much variety at all. Then the waitress had also expressed that 3-4 items listed on the menu they do not sale anymore…(make new menus!) I was embarrassed because I had brought a friend from out of town and she also did not like her food. To pay over $100 and the was not worth it definitely put a bad taste in my mouth. I would have rather went to Coney Island…..definitely would not recommend. The one star was for my waitress Kierra she was nice and patient.

   I would like to first start by we drove an hour to come dine at this restaurant. We went to celebrate my brother’s birthday. We made reservations for which we were a few minutes late on they were very relaxed about it which was very nice due to myself stressing . Now to business, our sever was awesome she was on point. Only complaint that I have is that all of our side dishes were cold it was 5 of us and 3 out of the five had to send them back to be reheated. Which really sucked especially for the amount of money we paid for the meals. They are reasonably priced I feel but it adds up and for your food to come out cold is No Bueno!! Most of us said we would like to give it a try while others were like 😬 they’ll pass. I forgot to add the cocktails were on point Zero complaints 🙂.

   This was my second time eating at One Mike and the food was really good both times. The fried green tomatoes were delicious as was the fried turkey chops. They don’t offer everything during the brunch hour on Sundays

   8p Saturday night and multiple empty tables should be enough said something isn't right... Food is delicious, service was ok but the unnecessary rules for reservations needs to end. Party of 8 spending money, 1 person didn't show up we lose the $10 reservation fee. Waiting forever for service in an empty restaurant makes no sense. value the customer more.

   We had a wonderful experience. Our server Brooke was excellent! She went above and beyond. The food was amazing. We can’t wait to come back
