   They had no knowledge of our reservation. They were able to find a table for us. However, two of us received our meal as we ordered it and two did not. The waitress did not return to the table to let us know what was happening. We called another waitress who went to check. Apparently it was served to a different table. The wait for their meals to arrive was quite long. They did apologize and offer reduced cost. The food was good but the mix up and lack of service was not good.

   Pre-theatre meal for 4 people. Because we got there early we took advantage of the happy hour cocktails and food. It was an incredible value, best burger I’ve had in a while. Recommend thus place, we’ll be back!

   The food was good. The service was polite, eager to please, but inexperienced. The wine list is very limited. We did like the truffle fries and the rack of lamb. Cocktails were good too. I wish them luck as they seem like nice people. With Teatro down the block, they’ll need to raise their game. Perhaps start with the washroom which needs to attention if they want to be a high end restaurant and not come off as gas station fast food joint.

   Had terrible service, first off we waited 20-30 mins each time we ordered drinks and it wasn’t near busy. Then the waitress brought us out completely wrong dishes than we ordered. To top it all off we waited an hour to get a very mediocre dessert, if service was fixed and noise levels were dropped it would be a much better experience but I was extremely disappointed and will not be returning

   Onyx creates a wonderful dining atmosphere. The food is delicious and Nichelle was an attentive server. Sitting by the window and watching the world go by as I dine in this fabulous space creates a peaceful and cozy feeling.

   I was so excited to try l onyx and was deeply disappointed in every element of the experience we had. The food we had was inedible. I ordered pakora's and calamari that were under cooked, not even fried or seasoned properly and the pakora was just chunks of vegetables in a batter. The food was overpriced for what it was. The service was awful and took forever, no one checked on us regularly. The ambience left a lot to be desired. Overall I would not recommend.

   Loved the ambiance and the prices are fair compared to other restaurants nowadays. Our sever was slammed and still managed to stay on top of things. Recommend highly.

    I don’t know if it was a one off - but we got there early and there was only a couple of tables. The service was poor and the food took a long time, the server came and asked us our order again - it seemed obvious our order was not put in. The server made excuses that there was only one other server who was new so she was training her. Server was nice but not good.
