This restaurant has reinvented itself no fewer than three times since we’ve lived in Little Rock. Each time, we have been pleasantly surprised. The decor is minimalist compared to the predecessors but the overall vibe is really nice. The food is outstanding. Once the staff re-establishes its identity (just recently reopened) and relationships with the locals, I fully expect this to once again become the place that it is/was meant to be. Certainly NOT just another hotel restaurant.

The Thanksgiving buffet was beyond disappointing. Bland food, zero decor, untrained wait staff. It felt like dining at a hospital buffet. Not the experience we were expecting given that the Capital Hotel is known for fabulous holiday decor, hospitality and fine dining. They didn’t even try to offer any of those for the Thanksgiving buffet. Three good things: the valet, the pimento cheese and crisps they normally serve in the bar and the tap water, ha. The tap water received three compliments, but I think we were just all thirsty. Too bad the tap water was the star of the meal.

So glad One Eleven has reopened! The service was exceptional - bartender, waiter, and GM all true professionals. The menu was interesting; for some reason we all struggled with making final choices. And yet we were all thrilled with our selections. The food was divine. Can't wait to come back.

The Host/Greeter/Maitre d was very pleasant and made us feel like they were happy to have us. Lexington definitely made the night special with his professionalism, knowledge of the menu, chef, and just general info about the restaurant. We had the pear salad=delicious but could have used a another handful of micro greens--the prosciutto and feta needed more peppery greens to balance the dish. Then we had the mushroom ravioli=delicious as well/the perfect few bites. We finished with the Osso Bucco=delicious, rich, and definitely enough for us to share. I was missing some roasted root vegetables on the plate though; like maybe rainbow carrots, parsnips, etc.

So happy 111 is back open. Its the best in Little Rock with a wonderful Southern atmosphere. The service was as good as we've had all over the world. The portions are smaller, but just right. Mushroom tortellini appetizer and the Caesar salad were perfect. I had the chicken with the yummiest mashed potatoes and others had Osso Bucco, gnocchi and scallops. Everyone loved their meals. The chocolate dessert that looks like mushrooms is not only cute but yummy. The sommelier was very knowledgeable. This will definitely be a go-to place for us. Holidays will book up fast, I'm sure.

FANTASTIC experience! We weren't celebrating anything specific - just a nice evening out with friends. Our server, Taylor, was incredibly kind and attentive. Everything we had was masterfully prepared. Well plated, cooked perfectly, and really enjoyable. Our cocktails were delicious. We had a great time and will certainly return!

Sorry to say it was an unpleasant experience. It didn’t start that way. The waiter was very friendly and helpful. My wife and I split a Caesar salad and a brie to start. The Caesar dressing was exceptional, made with anchovies and eggs as it should be. The brie wasn’t really remarkable, but it was good. Then there’s the entrée. At the urging of the waiter, I ordered the $65 prime tenderloin steak. I asked for it medium rare. It was more like medium well when it came. I cut it and tried it when it came and called the waiter over. He immediately said, that’s not medium rare. Let me take care of that. He whisked the steak away. And now we wait. And wait. And wait. My wife was done with her meal by the time a steak reappeared. And it was still overdone. “Cut it in the middle,” the waiter urged. I will leave the debate about what constitutes medium rare for another day, but suffice it to say the steak was dry, tough and chewy. Truly substandard. Now, I was just passing through the area, so to say I won’t be back means nothing. But I would urge other diners to beware.

We had a later seating for Easter brunch, and they were out of over half of the food items. We even had to ask the chef for some crackers to go with dips. Definitely not worth the price, which was the same that others paid before us for significantly more variety. We’ve gone there for years, but sadly we probably won’t be back.

We have been to experiences before and this time it was way sub par. We did the Easter Brunch seating at 1:30. The food for the buffet was meager with half of the food advertised on cards not even being out. We left hungry and almost $300.00 lighter just to drive thru on the way home. We always tip but at 40.00 in added gratuity I had no cream for my cold coffee despite request, and my 1 coke never was refilled. I would have expected better, much better but sadly will not be back for a reaming.

We seated at 12:15 per reservation. Our food arrived almost an hour later. 15 minutes after that the bunny arrived. Then out the door for Easter egg hunt and sent on our way. Not only that. We reserved and paid for one adult and one child. After the unauthorized handsome gratuity was added, the cost was some 103$. For chicken strips, fries and the smallest portion of short rib (singular intended) I have ever seen. Not only that. THEN…I had the honor of paying extra for our drinks- coffee and milk. Six dollars. And I had opportunity to pay yet another gratuity. Wow.

I would like to express my extreme disappointment with the Bunny Lunch that my daughter and I attended Saturday April 16. I requested a high chair when I made our reservation. We were seated at noon and there wasn't one at our table, so I asked the host for one who replied - of course. He never brought it. By 12:30, we still hadn't been greeted. A server assistant circled and filled up my water glass at 12:32. My friends at the next table over (who had already ordered drinks and their lunch) invited me to join them. At that point, I asked the bartender for a high chair. He obliged. By 12:40, I was finally spoken to by a server and was able to get milk for my toddler and order our lunch. We didn't receive our lunch until almost 1:30 after the Easter Bunny hopped in. I appreciated that the Bunny did visit with each table so we were able to get a photo. There was no official announcement about the egg hunt so we missed out on that while finally eating our lunch. When it was time for the check, we were charged for the child's milk, which I would expect to be included in a $38 kids meal. I had to ask about the kids dessert and was reluctantly served 2 cookies.  Thankfully the concierge put a few more eggs out while we were "looking" since the others had all been found, so my daughter was able to get two eggs.  Overall nothing about the lunch was Easter oriented except for the bunny. Receiving chicken tenders an hour and a half after our reservation time is ridiculous. Turnaround time for a prix-fixed menu should be so much more efficient, especially at a kid-oriented event. I would suggest in the future to maybe have some plastic eggs on the table or egg-shaped decorated cookies for dessert. Something themed. The cost of the event in no way reflected the value of the experience. Overall it was such a let-down experience that I wouldn't think to associate with the Capital Hotel. We were so looking forward to this event and ones in the future but this was so disappointing

When there is an event that includes small children and you know everyone is going to be seated at the same time, the servers should be prepared for it. The kitchen should be prepared for it. The bartender should be prepared for it. It took 80 mins to get any food to any of the children at the table. It took 45 mins to even get a cocktail to parents. After the long wait, the soup, entree, and dessert were all on the same plate? Seriously? We still don’t have our tab when other kids run in the lobby and grab all the eggs. By the time we try to be responsible and pay our tab before allowing kids to go hunt eggs in the lobby, there are none; thus, disappointed kids and disappointed parents. You knew the exact number of attendees and didn’t provide enough eggs for the kids, aside from the ridiculous amount of time waiting on service/food. 2.5 hours for lunch is ridiculous and disheartening; especially when the majority of the time is spent waiting to feed kiddos. Btw, why didn’t kids get dessert? Was that extra? I was afraid to ask! We will never do this again and I’m glad we didn’t bring more friends with us than we did.

Our waitress had another table who had a LOT of demands, which caused her to not be able to focus on her other tables. We waited for about 45 minutes for our first course. And then at the end, we waited for 40 minutes before we received our ticket to cash out. We have been there before so we were very surprised about the lack of 4 star service.

Service was slow and inconsistent. Our wine pairings came so late for 2 courses that the course was eaten before the wine arrived. For one pairing only 2 out of 3 of us got the wine and the 3rd person got theirs at the end of the meal. 1st course was fabulous but they went downhill from there.

They had a set menu and the food was not good. We left and had to go get fast food on the way home. We waited over 20 min for our drinks. Then they were out of all Merlot. And when we asked for the check. We once again had to wait over 30 min. The service was horrible and after a 350 dollar bill for 2. Taco Bell was better. Will never go back.

Chef Brad Izard prepared a phenomenal Valentine dinner. Starting with the Burrata appetizer surrounded by a beautiful melody of flavors, colors and textures to enhance and accompany it. Next was the grilled octopus with Romesco beautifully presented and prepared to perfection. The main course was a braised beef cooked many hours to achieve absolute perfect flavor and tenderness accompanied with mushroom carpaccio. The meal was completed with the most beautiful and heavily dessert possible… Raspberry Rose cake with Lychee yogurt mouse built on top of a tender vanilla biscuit. A truly memorable meal. The restaurant is trying to hire enough wait staff to open for dinner in the near future.

Prior to COVID we had immensely enjoyed the Thanksgiving brunches over the years at the Capital Hotel. The buffet stations were as you would expect them, full of exceptional choices with various delectable options to choose from. The price of the brunch was not felt to be out of range due to the quality and quantity of the food. We were so looking forward to joining the Capital Hotel for their Thanksgiving feast only to discover that it had been downgraded to an ORDINARY hotel Sunday brunch. There were virtually no choices as in the past: breakfast station, charcuterie station, soup station, vegetable station, multi-meat carving station...and lastly the desert station! Disappointed is an understatement. We knew the cost of $72/person for the brunch before we arrived and felt that it was possibly overpriced but given our past experiences felt it would most likely be well worth it. IT WAS NOT WORTH IT. We will review other options for 2022 and most likely pass the Capital Hotel for another special Thanksgiving Brunch at another location.
