East coast oysters, shrimp cocktail and you peel em shrimp was awesome. Walked around a bit before we realized the restaurant was inside the Hyatt hotel. That would of been nice to know but the parking garage was right across the street.
a nice ambiance where you have the choice to sit by the Riverwalk and enjoy live music as well as indoors in the AC, but better yet for those that enjoy the occasional cigar there is an upstairs lounge also facing the Riverwalk where you can have a smoke.
seasonal east coast oysters were somewhat small, but delicious. the sandwiches are amazing.
On our 4th day in San Antonio, service was the best that we've had while staying at the Hyatt Regency and finding places to eat on the Riverwalk...food was mediocre at best...Oyster Sampler was very good, but the Mac and Cheese was out of a Kraft blue box, dinner salads, were decent. Bloody Mary's were Zing Zang, so didn't require any special handling from the bar...had to ask for olives...but arrived at our table with lemon and lime wedge. Probably won't go there again.
Staff was terrible, food was cold, some food never arrived, had to wait on silverware forever after finally receiving food. They were absolutely unbothered and in no rush for anything. Food was over priced for the quality. My advice is to go to a nicer place if you’re going to still be spending so much $$. 2/10 don’t recommend - would never go back again. Live jazz band was the only positive but not enough to redeem this place.
Took forever to get the food and the food was cold. Reservation wasn’t ready when we arrived. Waitress was wonderful.
Food was pretty good, nothing outstanding. We had really bad service, ordered drinks and apps, finished both and had to ask for our server to order another drink and food.
We came here to give them a second chance. For the second time in a row they were out of most of their food. Service was slow, we had to wait forever to get seated despite a reservation and that should have been our cue to leave but we stayed, hoping to get the wagyu short ribs tonight. There will be no 3rd chance. Extremely disappointed
The menu is very limited but the restaurant is nice and the patio overlooks the menu. Food is slightly overpriced but it’s a great place for drinks.
Y'all. Steer clear. We were are the Riverwalk on Memorial Day weekend and by the time we were making reservations (at 12pm for that night) there was nothing else available. The food all tasted frozen and reheated (barely) tomatoes in the salad had clearly been frozen and thawed, salads were all dressing, they were out of mains and oysters, leaving very little still on the menu-- we had to fill up on the crackers that came with the oysters. The one main they still had was a blacked ahi tuna sandwich, which was frozen cold in the middle. Total tourist trap. Would never go back.
Was able to accommodate me and my date immediately during a time where other restaurants on the riverwalk required a 1-2 hour wait. Service came very quickly and frequently. Food was very tasty for an affordable price.
The staff was amazing!!!! Loved the environment, perfect for cigar smokers!
Came to the Riverwalk because we had friends that came to town and reeeeallllly wanted to see the riverwalk at night. Well we were in a rush and I called everyone and no one had any reservations available until.... I saw this place! Let me tell you, what. a. GEM! We absolutely love this place, the energy, the food, the drinks, all of it was amazing. We were having such a great time we decided to stay but visit their second patio above us for their cigar bar! We will be returning!!
No nos atendieron porque dijeron que la comida tardaba más de una hora de espera porque la cocina estaba muy atareada
We enjoyed our Mother’s Day lunch! The service was excellent, the server even brought me out a plate of avocado for my 11 month old. The server did explain that the main entree would be taking a little extra time because they were short staffed but it didn’t bother us because we ordered some amazing appetizers.
Service was atrocious. The hostess was letting people with later and no reservations in before us. We waited for 20 minutes until my wife finally had to get up to find someone to take care of us. The Drinks were bland and the food was horrible. Don't waste your time or money here. Shame the location is excellent but that's about it.
I have visited lots of Oyster bars. Hands down this was without a doubt the worst oyster bar I have ever been too. The food was extremely over-priced. The oysters tasted like they came out of a muddy pond, and the salads had chopped olives in them. Drenched in olive juices.
Our server was good but nothing else about the experience would I ever want to repeat or put anyone else through.
Food was exquisite!
Bathroom area not so clean at all! >(
Loved our waiter! He was super nice and friendly! As well as the nice lady who sat us down! Loved it!!
Great place to sit, hangout, and smoke a cigar while having a drink. Everything was awesome. Our server was really nice and enjoyable. The only downside was $20 Manhattans - note: the Old Fashioned is $11ish.....
After having a reservation, we still waited over 30 minutes to get a table, then another 10 mins for the tables to be cleaned. We sat for another 30 minutes before having to go get a waitress. By this time the kitchen was closed and only the raw bar was open. Manager came and gave us whatever they had leftover in the kitchen and comped the bill. He tried to make the night better which i commend, but poor planning of low staff and food for St. Patrick's Day.
They ran out most food on the menu. Luckily, the view was great and the oysters delicious.
What a great place. If you like to people watch this is a good spot.
Nice place to snack and drink. It is next to the riverwalk with great views. You can eat inside as well.
It is in a nice spot along the riverwalk. The tables were set up for social distancing and the staff followed protocols. Our waitress was super nice and attentive. Food was fresh & tasty, we got raw East Coast oysters and spicy peel & eat shrimp. We also got the blackberry mojitos, which were made with fresh fruit and were delicious. We really liked it here
Great food and in a prime location above the river walk.
Pasta buffet was good. Salad, bread, dessert was included as well.
Taste was very good.
We had a late breakfast which was very good! The ingredients were very fresh and the menu item selection was unique. I would have tried several things on the menu. Service was great too!
We thoroughly enjoyed the Holiday Dinner buffet at Q's. Totally worth the price. The grouper and cornbread crusted chicken were fantastic! The side dishes were quite good too. Especially the Maple Bourbon Sweet Potatoes. Good flavor, not too sweet and the maple and Bourbon accentuated and did not cover up the flavor of the sweet potatoes. Desserts was top notch. The Chocolate Mousse Cake was amazing!
Our hostess and server were lovely. They were friendly and helpful. Our server was quick to refill our water glasses and coffee. He also made sure to clear our plates promptly and anticipated our need for new utensils.
Excellent choice for Christmas dinner.
My family and I went to restaurant for Christmas dinner. It is usually only open for breakfast and lunch according to waiter.
Hostess was awesome. Waiter was helpful and nice overall. When it came time to divide the check, his attitude was no longer helpful.
Food was bland and cold. Buffet options were limited, especially for the price ($37 without drink) and ocassion. Eventhough it was a buffet, and we were a party of 4, 18% gratuity was automatically charged. I definitely would not have tipped 18% if it was not automatically included.
Good thing valet parking can be validated for 3 hours because the extra cost would have made the experience completely awful.
I don't know how this place is for lunch or breakfast, but i would not recommend it for special occassions.
Service was great. Christmas buffet was disappointing.
Great Christmas Brunch. Not a huge variety but just enough to make you happy.
We had our Thanksgiving meal at Q and the food was outstanding.
Awesome service. I asked for malt vinegar and they didn't have any so the manager ran out to the store and got it for me. All service was above and beyond!
Great food but it took a long time and they weren't busy.
Great value forafor a buffet brunch. Mimosas after 10 am.
Great daily pasta bar, always delicious!
Parking, Food & service excellent -- Mimosas a really nice accent to meal -- Carlos took very good care of us. We always enjoy holiday meals here...no grocery store, cooking, clean-up or leftovers! Thank you Hyatt!
We had lunch during a conference at the hotel. Service was quick and good.
Spent New Year's Eve here ... we were in evening attire, but several guests were in jeans ... took away from the experience. Our waiter, Roland was very attentive and the food selection was great. Probably would not return for New Year's Eve, but would certainly consider for brunch/lunch.
