Our first return after years. Experience a disappointment. No longer fine (or even upscale/moderate quality) food. Ambiance fitting club house (noisy, old furnishings, bar food) rather than the nice restaurant we remembered. Service staff VERY pleasant. Comped a meal that was almost inedible (the only low carb/ vegetarian option on menu. We’re sorry to see it in decline.

Amazing location and incredible food. Best french dip I’ve ever eaten. Menu is simple but what is there is finest quality! The view is absolutely breathtaking overlooking a manicured golf course and downtown Anchorage.

We visited the restaurant on a Wednesday evening for a birthday celebration for my husband, with a reservation at 6:15 PM. To our surprise, the place was nearly empty, lacking the lively atmosphere we anticipated. The absence of background music made the dining experience feel dull and uninspired. Despite my request for a small cake or slice to commemorate the occasion, there was no acknowledgment of this special request. Our waitress seemed to lack energy, which further detracted from our experience. The menu offered limited options and felt overpriced for what was essentially mediocre food. I opted for a burger, as nothing else truly appealed to me, but I must say the sweet potato fries were a standout! My husband and father-in-law ordered the fish and chips, while I don’t recall what my mother-in-law chose. Ultimately, for the price we paid, we felt it fell short of expectations. For a better ambiance and dining experience, I would recommend heading over to 49th State instead. I had hoped for a setting that reflected at least a fine dining or semi-fine dining vibe, but it didn’t resonate as such and felt overrated. On the plus side, the golf course view was pleasant, but the overall experience left us wanting more. The restaurant has potential, but improvements in service and atmosphere are needed to truly elevate the dining experience.

I took my whole family out for a late birthday dinner, including a toddler. Great experience! Great food, I had a salad with shrimp. The kids got crayons and coloring pages. The restaurant was not full, it was nice and quiet, and I always love the view. A year ago, we came on a Friday for a birthday dinner, and the music started playingg so loud we could no longer talk. Our host was almost in tears. So if you want great food, service, nice view and a conversation, come here any day but Friday.

I hadn’t been to O’Malley’s for a holiday in years so it was fun to return with my family. I was so disappointed in the food. It was obviously reheated from days of not weeks before. The mac and cheese was disrespectful. The fried chicken, dry, and the sausage was so salty. The bacon was. tasty and the omelet station was delicious, but nothing was worth $60 a person. The staff was great though. Kind and attentive. I probably won’t come back for a holiday brunch, but I hear their normal menu is good so many some random weeknight I’ll give it another go!

Food was kinda blah. Needed some shrimp or something. Prime rib. Potatoes were mushy, waffles were dry and no butter. Veggies were out of a bag and mushy. Desserts looked store bought.

We wanted a lunch gathering of 6 with moderate noise level so we could converse. The view was magnificent, blue skies with Denali and Susitna in clear sight! Food choices met everyone's tastes and were of moderate size. Special desserts were excellent. Our server was attentive and accommodating,good attitude. A great day.
