Omakase By Aung is modern, up beat and contemporary sushi omakase restaurant located at 567 Kapahulu Ave next to world famous Waikiki beach in Honolulu. Mixture of Edomae style nigiris and model innovative nigiris will be served in 1 hour 45 minutes long Omakase meal. Seasonal fish from around the world are used in the 15 courses omakase meal.
Omakase by Aung provides single 15 courses menu to all customers for both Lunch and Dinner Service.
Chef Aung will provide laid back and fun experience for all sushi lovers. Open kitchen with a long 12 seats sushi counter in the middle of the restaurant allows interactive experience between the customers and the chefs.

I’m so glad I booked a reservation here. The food was delicious and creative. The atmosphere was laid back and fun. The staff were friendly and professional. It was the perfect night out. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Awesome experience dining at Omakase by Aung. Really enjoyed the food as well as the ambiance and friendly environment that Aung fosters. Loved that omakase items were creative and were not just nigiri. Would come back again!

Amazing omakase experience (although it was my first time doing one so I may be biased), we had an incredible time and the food was incredibly flavorful. A few favorites were the clam miso, the corn puree soup and the sea urchin on the toasted sourdough (it was the third course) - it literally melted in my mouth, along with the eel at the end (last course before the dessert). All the food was so fresh! The chef was so personable and in between preparing the food, he would shed a little light on his past cooking experiences and that was very cool to hear! Everyone at the bar had a great time. The person who was helping the chef also did a fantastic job! We always felt taken care of, this was just a memorable & tasty experience. Highly, highly recommend trying this omakase out!

Great experience to have while in Honolulu. Food is exceptional, and the chefs are so charismatic and down to earth!

What a great omakase experience!! Each meal tasted perfect and the vibes were great. Def best omakase on Oahu!
