   We chose Olivier's Hideaway for a birthday dinner. We'd never been there before, but the pictures online looked nice. It was called "upscale" and described as Art Deco which I love, so we figured we'd give it a go. We entered the Streamline and were walked to our table. It was not so much a restaurant as it was a bar with a few tables lining the wall. The decor was somewhat confused - while there were some Art Deco elements, it seemed to have stolen most of its ideas from an old diner and a Nascar museum. Funky, but definitely not upscale. The cocktails were overpriced and underfilled. One girl was serving and tending bar, and even though the place was not especially busy, she could have used some help. She must have worked an earlier shift because she pointed out the waffle batter on her black shirt. Considering the atmosphere and lack of staff, you would expect a more casual menu, but the prices were a tad high. I ordered my steak rare. I like a nice, cool red center, but actually came out raw on the inside. Unfortunately, our server was so busy making drinks, by the time she made it back to ask about our meal, I politely asked for a box. I really didn't want to wait for it to come back out. And while we sat there eating, other hotel staff pushed a large cart that appeared to be filled with dirty laundry through the bar in front of our seats into the kitchen. I'm not sure if it was laundry, but whatever it was, it certainly was not classy to be walking it through the dining room while people are eating. To sum it up, the drinks were too small for the price, the food was only so-so and not nearly worth what they charged, the service would have been much better if our waitress/bartender had help, and the atmosphere was disappointing. While we would still like to go up to the rooftop bar sometime, we won't go back to Olivier's Hideaway. There are way too many GOOD restaurants in Daytona to give Olivier's a second try.

   Had a reservation, but did not stay to eat. When we walked in no one working there approached us or acknowledged that we had entered the building. The “dining room” is just a very few tables off the lobby/bar. We found our own way to the rooftop bar. What tables were up there had half full glasses and overfilled ashtrays sitting on many of them. And again no one seemed interested that we were there. We ended up just looking around and then leaving to find somewhere else to eat. A disappointing experience.

   tuna cerviche and rib eye spring rolls were good. pork porterhouse was bland and a little tough. service was slow. not enough help.

   Went for Valentine's Dinner but we celebrated on the Saturday after. Due to good reviews we decided to give this place a chance. Our experience was horrible. The only good thing was the atmosphere. We both ordered the New York Strip and asked for medium rare. The cost is $24 and besides the steak you get a baked potato and asparagus. A side salad is $2 extra. The salads took longer than usual to come out. They set them by the bar and then no one knew who to bring them to. We got someone's attention and they were brought to us. The food came out and we both cut into our steaks are they were cooked wrong and the food other than the baked potato were cold like they had sat in the kitchen for some time. They left us with the plates and went to get another order. When they brought the second order the steak was cooked correctly but for the cost the cut of meat was cheap. We kept getting bites which were grizzly and tough. The asparagus was cold again but at this point we gave up. We could not wait to get our check and get out. Surprisingly a manager did not come to see us about the issue nor offer any kind of compensation like a percentage off the check, etc. We will not go back. For the price we can get much better steaks at Stonewood or even Texas Roadhouse

   The food and atmosphere we're wonderful Went for special occasions but looking forward to returning for a evening of dining and dancing

   Very cozy bar and table area. Menu is surprise hit! And make sure you take a trip upstairs to the rooftop bar for after dinner drinks!!!

   Rooftop bar was great. Plenty of outside seating. 360° view of Daytona beach.

   Rooftop bar is the best! Great seating, good drinks and a fabulous view. Dining area in bar downstairs is small. Food was ok, not great. Very nice hotel and a cool vibe.

    I love the look of this place. Such a cool renovation and I love the respect shown to the history. We came for Thanksgiving dinner and they did a phenomenal job at the holiday favorites. I can tell the chef takes pride in what’s coming out of the kitchen. And he should. Well done! Only complaint, play some music in keeping with the rest of the ‘40s theme. Lose the 80s tunes.
