I LOVE this place. Chicken cacciatore is my favorite so far.
Food was delicious. We especially liked the red snapper! Our waitress, Raevyn, was lovely.
Loved my anniversary meal here!! Delicious food, great atmosphere, and great staff!!
We went on a cold rainy night and we were able to still sit outside in their tent with heaters which was great because it still felt safe. The food here was awesome! So many choices for vegetarians, and the waitress we had was great. She was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. We got the fried vegetables for an appetizer and there was a little too much batter on the vegetables. Otherwise, everything was perfect and I can’t wait to go back!
The food was delicious and just the right portions. Server was awesome as well.
Went for New Year’s Eve dinner. Host did not take us to our seats but instead just pointed to our table from her stand. She had a sweatshirt just laying out on the stand and food. Server overly exaggerated the pronunciation of foods and we had to flag him down for every refill we needed. I understand the importance of social distancing however they used blue painters tape to separate booths in half to allow proper distancing. Food tasted as if someone spilt a bottle of salt all over it and tried wiping it off.
The NYE menu was delicious and the service was fantastic. Classy and romantic ambience. The only complaint we had was at the noise level , which seemed to be due to an air vent or something like that inside above our table. Our waiter kept having to repeat himself and ask us to repeat what we were saying.
I went for a birthday dinner. The service was impeccable. Our waitress Sam knew her cocktails and wine, as well as her way around the menu. The food was good but my beet salad was drenched in dressing which didn’t allow for the flavors of the beets and fennel to shine through. Our NY strip steaks had a ton of grissle and connective tissue. It was cooked perfectly but the cut of meat didn’t really match up to the price. Also the steak was drenched in butter. I love butter but it was even too much for me. Over all a great experience out.
Great everything! Food. Drinks. Ambiance. Definitely coming back.
Thank you for making my anniversary special. Such a beautiful location and the patio was awesome. COVID regulations were great and I felt comfortable at all times.
Start to finish, everything was wonderful. Food, service, ambience—all top notch. We can’t wait to go back.
Was great. Had a great table. Food was exceptional
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner on the patio.
Beautiful restaurant and patio! Nice boutique style restaurant if you’re looking for something special and a local favorite. Wait staff I was very accommodating and the food was exceptional. I will definitely be going back.
It’s been maybe 4 years since we’ve busied Olive and June, now we remember why. First, the Roasted Cauliflower and the beet salad were very good. The bucatini pasta dish was not good. Bland pasta, far too thick sauce (either too old, sat on the stove way too long so it became gummy, and or way too much tomato paste). Should have sent it back. But by then the noise level inside had us trying to get out as soon as possible. Service not as one would expect. Bummer.
The wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary at Olive and June and were quite pleased with our experience. The outdoor dining space is very nice and quiet. We were both impressed with the food and the service was attentive but not bothersome. I was a bit worried about dining out during these COVID times but the restaurant and staff were careful and I felt safe throughout the entire experience. Give this place a try and enjoy the lovely outdoor area while the weather is still nice.
Delightful restaurant with a wonderful staff. We had a vegetarian dinner. We highly recommend the mezzaluna and roasted cauliflower. The wine list is reasonable filled with affordable delicious wines.
If you decide to go here, make sure you can sit outside. The interior seating was not great. They taped off half of our table, even when there was not one party that ever showed up next to our table. The bread was served cold, which indicated that it was not fresh. They charged a $1 "wellness fee" without letting you know on each tab. Food was the only thing that saved the experience.
Super awesome service & delicious food and drinks!
There was a very loud table after 10 young professional men who were obnoxious, and this amount of people were borderline above COVID-19 restrictions.
The food seemed really bland, aside from the meatballs.
Lovely evening celebrating retirement!
Wonderful place.. the only thing I wished they did was poured from the wine bottle in front of me. I was not sure if I got the wine that I ordered :(
Great food and service for anniversary dinner. Thank you again!
Flavorful food, fantastic service, fabulous setting.
We come here about once a month. For the most part it is a hit. This time Raven really took good care of us. Food was lovely as were the cocktails and wine.
Only negative. there was a small gap behind my boyfriends chair, so this one waiter kept 'cutting through' instead of going through the main path ( a few extra steps) and kept bumping into him, sometimes grazing his head. Horrible no, annoying as heck yes.
Other than that..great! I fyou want a more intimate seating ask to be on the balcony.
Simple Classic Clean Fresh Italian Food! Our waiter was amazing as well.
Unique, beautiful setting at this casually elegant restaurant. The food was phenomenal. We had the amatriciana and the strip steak. Flavors on both dishes were spot on and delightfully well balanced. Tables were well spaced and service was exceptional. Highly recommend.
Outstanding service, food, ambience.
No need to know more.
Quick service. Tasty food. Todd was knowledgeable and had great recommendations. Pork meatballs were delicious.
Food and atmosphere was great! Service was mostly good but there were some long waits and he forgot to put in a couple of orders. They also accidentally charged us for an appetizer that was out. Luckily we caught it.
Service was friendly. Food was bland. It wasn’t bad just did t have much flavor.
I have had excellent food at Olive and June before so I prefer to think this was a Covid aberration.
The burrata app was the highlight along with excellent Italian wine choices reasonable with large standard pours.
Caesar Salad also very good and sharable.
The Linguini and clams had no sauce to speak of and the clmas were overcooked and dry. Also was not given a plate for shells.
The ravioli was good would have preferred more sauce or a more robust sauce.
Everything was wonderful! The wait staff, the food, the evening! Can’t wait to go back!
Great meal. Always great food and great place for an anniversary meal; Thank you O&J for making our evening special!
Great wait staff and food and cocktails are amazing!
We ordered the meatballs and snapper, both of which were delicious. It would have been even better if both had been served with linguine or capelli d'angelo. Our server was excellent. We were looking for a romantic restaurant, and were so disappointed with the downstairs indoor dining area. The upstairs room would have only been marginally better. The outdoor patio and upper deck are pleasant if the weather is cooperative. But overall, the romantic setting we'd sought eluded us. Highly recommend an interior decorator to transform O&J into a much more memorable date night choice.
we sat in the garden which is built on more than 1 level, surrounding a 250yrs old live oak tree. It was a memorable setting, good for a special occasion. The ground floor was a bit noisy with tables of 6-8 people. Request away from ground floor if you wish to talk ....
Shared a mixed seafood appetizer, and this was followed by a red snapper and a chicken dish; both very well done. Did not need a side order.
Finished with 2 espressos and drank 3/4 bottle of Barbera d'Alba which was good and reasonably priced.
Slow service, mediocre food
Excellent food, great service, nice patio, enjoyable evening
We had a reservation and were greeted and seated promptly. Covid rules seem to be well established. Waitstaff was very good and food was great. The menu from the website and the actual menu are very different. Much more limited menu right now as with many other establishments. This is a really nice place to eat and spend some time with someone special.
